Abstract

This research describes human existence in various scientific studies; psychological, physiological, spiritualist (interdisciplinary) which has an integral value to the human role in Islamic education. This research is library research, using the Koran and hadith as primary sources to explore the strong relationship between humans as nature and Islamic education. The significance of this research lies in an interdisciplinary study in revealing human nature, both in terms of psychology and sociology in the context of Islamic education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a library model. To deepen the study, the approach used is hermeneutics. The findings of this study are first, from psychological analysis, humans are objects as well as subjects in education, so the formulation, objectives, materials, methods, curriculum, and evaluation of education must be based on an understanding of humans within the framework of essence and existence which cannot be separated from its substance. Second, physiologically, humans are chosen beings, semi-celestial and semi-earthly creatures in which the recognition of a supernatural (God) is embedded, beings who have freedom, have a sense of responsibility towards themselves and nature. Third, spiritually, humans besides having a material physical dimension also have a spiritual dimension. In addition to being created from the essence of soil, humans were also created from the breath of God's spirit, to carry out dual duties as servants (abd), as well as God's ambassadors on earth (khalifa fil ardh).

Abstract

This research will examine the points of psychological thought put forward by Muslim scientists in the Middle Ages, which to this day become an adjudication for the study and study of the concept of psychology in Islam. Islamic psychology is a pattern of psychology that tries to formulate the principles of human psychology from the main source of Islam (the Qur'an). Islamic psychology in its study is different from modern western psychology, which studies humans limited to the physical, psychic, and socio-cultural dimensions. Islamic psychology in addition to studying the three dimensions of man above also examines the spiritual dimension of man, which has not been touched in the study of modern psychology. Islamic psychology comes from the Qur'an which in its development was studied by Muslim scientists from Abu Zaid, al-Kindi, al-Farabi, Miskawih, Ibn Sina, al-Ghazali and others. The thought of Muslim scientists about psychology is still an adjudication of Islamic psychology studies.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan posisi hermeneutika sebagai pendekatan dalam kajian psikologi Islam. Psikologi Islam sejatinya adalah kajian tentang konsep manusia dalam al-qur’an, yang akhir-akhir ini mengalami perkembangan yang cukupp dinamis. Oleh karena perkembangan telaah psikologi islam maka memerlukan metode yang tepat agar dapat memahami psiikologi dalam perspektif Islam dengan lebih baik. Diantara metode yang untuk mengkaji dan menelaah konsep psikologi Islam adalah pedekatan hermeneutika, karena sifat metode hermeneutika yang dialogis dan dinamis. Penelitian ini, menghasilkan beberapa simpulan, pendekatan hermenetika dapat diaplikasikan sebagai metode dalam kajian psikologi Islam karena wujudnya yang berupa pemahaman atau intrepretasi atas manusia. Pendekatan hermeneutika memiliki arti penting dalam kajian psikologi Islam karena hermenetika bersifat dialogis dan dinamis sehingga berkesesuaan dengan dinamika perkembangan pemikiran dalam kajian psikologi islam
