Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness of Flashcards media in learning Chinese vocabulary. This study applies the Quantitative-Qualitative Research method in quadrant I by using a pre-test to measure students' abilities before flashcards are applied in learning Chinese, Media Flashcards, Post-test to measure students' abilities after learning Chinese by using Flashcards, and guidelines of observations in Research Instruments. The sample of this study was 15 students aged 7-8 years at the Brilliant Mandarin Language Center. Based on the results of the research, the students were very enthusiastic in learning Chinese vocabulary using flashcards and the class atmosphere became very pleasant. In addition, students' ability to master Chinese vocabulary has increased after applying flashcards. The mean score of students in the pre-test was 47.5 which was in the very poor score classification. After the flashcards were applied in learning Mandarin, the general average of the students in the Post-test was 81.25 which was classified as a very good score. This shows that the use of flashcards media is very effective in learning Chinese vocabulary. keyword: Chinese language, vocabulary, flashcards.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping Technique in learning Chinese vocabulary. The author uses the Quantitative-Qualitative Research method in quadrant I, namely by using pre-test, mind mapping techniques, post-test, and observation guidelines as research instruments. The data is then analyzed to get the average score and the percentage of student progress. The sample of this study was 28 students from Golden Gate School Makassar. The results showed that students were very enthusiastic in learning to use Mind Mapping Techniques and the class atmosphere became very pleasant. In addition, students' ability to master Chinese vocabulary has increased after applying the Mind Mapping Technique. The mean score of the students in the pre-test was 47.5 which was classified as very low score. On the other hand, the general average of students in the Post-test is 81.25 which is classified as a good score. The percentage of Student Improvement scores also increased to 80.78%. This proves that the use of the Mind Mapping Technique is very effective in learning Chinese vocabulary. Keywords: Vocabulary, Chinese Language, Technique, Mind Mapping

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve the ability to speak Mandarin in private junior high school students in Makassar. This study used the Mandarin speaking training method using the Role Play by involving 20 respondents or training participants. From the results of this research, it was found that the Mandarin language training method with the mentoring approach, role playing technique training and drama practice entitled "The Three Little Pigs" had a positive impact on students' confidence and self-comfort in speaking Mandarin in public. Abstract

Confucianism is the name of one of the schools of Chinese philosophy. The founder of Confucianism was named Confucius. In an age when division, turmoil and constant wars are rampant, Confucius wants to restore the order of heaven (Tianming) so as to unify China and bring peace and prosperity to the people. The humanistic teachings of Confucianism developed into one of the most important things in Chinese civilization. Confucius' most profound teachings lay in his emphasis on self- development or self-civilization, moral example and the ability to make well-trained decisions rather than knowledge of natural laws. His ethics then, is more of a benevolent ethic. The concepts of humanism introduced in Confucianism are: Zhengming (justification, upholding one's name), Yi (virtue), Ren (human kindness), Xiao (respect), Li (ritual), Tianming (sky order). In Chinese terms, Confucianism refers to two meanings: Ju Chiao which refers to religious teachings and Ju Chia which refers to philosophical schools. As Ju Chiao in the religious field the term T'ien or Tian is the main spiritual factor. In the Confucian teachings about Tianming or the orders of the sky, the content is that T'ien gives the power of a country to people he chooses, namely those who are deemed capable of leading a country. Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted at Makassar International School (MIS) Kindergarten in Makassar City by observing Chinese learning activities using a descriptive-analytical approach. To obtain valid data, researchers used several data collection techniques such as interviews, analysis of Daily Learning Implementation Plan documents made by the teacher, and class observations when giving Chinese content to Early Childhood Learners. The final results of this study revealed that the provision of Chinese content for MIS Kindergarten students was carried out by inserting Chinese utterances or vocabulary into the learning process and the process of interaction at school associated with the theme of learning every day. This supports the theory of language acquisition put forward by Chomsky said that the acquisition of a second language (L2/Second Language) should be carried out as a first language (L1/First Language) is obtained, namely in the most scientific way possible by using simple utterances in accordance with the context of everyday life. Keywords: Chinese Learning, early childhood, Second Language Acquisition

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas dua siklus yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kosakata bahasa Mandarin siswa kelas VIII SMP Tunas Bangsa Makassar melalui penggunaan media lagu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Tunas Bangsa Makassar yang berjumlah 12 orang. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes penguasaan kosakata siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata tes penguasaan kosakata yang diperoleh adalah 86% dengan predikat baik pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 97% dengan predikat sangat baik pada siklus II. Hasil tes penguasaan kosakata meningkat sebesar 11%. Kata Kunci: Lagu, Media, Kosakata, Bahasa Mandarin.

Abstract

摘要 本研究是一项定量描述性研究,旨在获取SMP Frater Makassar 九年级学生在汉语句 子中使用结构助词 “的、得、地” 论文的数据。本研究中的论文是 IX E 班 SMP Frater Makassar 班,由 7 个班级共有210 学生。抽样技术采用随机抽样、因此本研究的样本 为IX E 班学生,共有 30 学生。本研究的数据来自对错测试、填充和写作测试。 使 用百分比技术分析数据、结果为 91,1%。 结果表明,在汉语句子中结构助词“的、得、 地”的使用能力水平上、学生处于属于非常好(91,1%)。 关键词:结构助词,的,得,地,汉语。
