Abstract

Peran laki-laki dan perempuan dapat dibedakan dengan menggunakan dua pendekatan, yakni pendekatan nature (alami) dan pendekatan nurture (budaya). Dalam berbagai konteks budaya perbedaan secara alami (biologis) seringkali mendasari diferensiasi peran (division of labor) yang ada, akibatnya sering terjadi ketidakseimbangan peran antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Dalam beberapa kasus, ketidakseimbangan tersebut memunculkan adanya dominasi laki-laki atas perempuan. Sedangkan secara nurture (gender) perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam suatu masyarakat terkait dengan berbagai pandangan serta nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat yang ada. Fakta tersebut dalam konteks kesenian tercermin melalui berbagai wujud karya seni, penokohan, proses pengajaran, proses pertunjukan, karir, dan pelabelan instrumen musik dan lain-lain. Kata kunci : Perilaku, kesenian, gender.

Abstract

Although since 2006, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) has been implied in elementary school/Islamic elementary school, but in its implementing there are still many teachers who find difficulties. From that reason, as the follow up of the previous research, this research will develop learning material model based on culture, creativity context, life skill, and enjoyable for students by noticing teachers‟ needs, environment and capability. The research locations determined purposively by establish three of special characterized towns in Central Java. This research uses Educational Research and Development which developed by Brogg and Gall (1983:775-76). Based on the previous research, the model of music learning material that developed in this research refers to three characteristics, they are (1) easy to be implemented by elementary school and Islamic elementary school teachers (applicable); (2) can be a comprehensive learning guidance, and (3) can be functionalized as learning media and source to teachers. The form is teaching materials that consist of: (1) learning materials belong to music knowledge and experience; (2) guidelines for teachers; and (3) supporting media (VCD).  Development processes are done by four steps, they are (1) arranging learning material, teachers‟ guidance, and supporting media ( VCD); (2) expert review; (3) trial and (4) seminar. The trial model of music material development that developed in this research still done in limited target. From that reason, to know the feasibility for next betterment, it still needs continuation trial in broader target. So the model of music‟s learning material development is ready to be disseminated and implemented. Keywords: culture, creative, life skill and enjoyable.

Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran musik di taman kanak-kanak pemanfaatan media musik menjadi bagian penting dalam membantu pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian di TK Hjh. Isriari dan TK Negeri Pembina Semarang diperoleh informasi bahwa di kalangan guru sudah memanfaatkan berbagai bentuk media musik dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajarannya. Di TK Hjh. Isriari pemanfaatan media musik oleh guru kelas berbentuk komposisi musik dan perlengkapan elektronik, sedangkan alat musik baru digunakan oleh guru ekstrakurikuler. Pengembangan media musik oleh guru mencakup memodifikasi syair lagu, mencipta lagu dan memanfaatan perlenglengkapan elektronik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan di TK Negeri Pembina Semarang pemamanfaatan media musik oleh guru kelas juga mencakup pemanfaatan media musik yang berbentuk komposisi musik, alat .musik, dan perlengkapan elektronik. Sedangkan pengembangan media musik yang dilakukan oleh guru antara lain meliputi memodifikasi syair lagu, mencipta lagu sederhana, memanfaatkan alat musik ritmis dalam kegiatan ritmik dan bernyanyi, serta memanfaatan perlengkapan elektronik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Abstract

Perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan secara alami (biologis) dalam berbagaikonteks budaya seringkali mendasari diferensiasi peran (division of labor) yang ada.Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang mengkaji tentang bagaimanakonstruksi peran laki-laki dan perempuan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnyabidang pendidikan seni musik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputiwawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yangdigunakan yakni dengan mengembangkan deskripsi kasus, yang prosesnyadilakukan dengan tahap reduksi data, kategorisasi, dan penafsiran data(verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan).Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konstruksiperan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam proses pendidikan musik terjadi padalingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat. Realitas obyektif yangmencakup berbagai pandangan, sikap, perilaku, dan pemberian makna terhadapdiferensiasi peran laki-laki dan perempuan berdasarkan budaya (nurture) yangterdapat dalam lingkungan keluarga memiliki peran yang menonjol dalam proseskonstruksi peran dikalangan siswa dan mahasiswa perempuan. Sedangkan bagisiswa dan mahasiswa laki-laki, proses konstruksi peran selain terjadi di dalamlingkungan keluarga juga terjadi di dalam lingkungan sosial masyarakat. Biasgender yang terjadi dalam proses konstruksi peran laki-laki dan perempuan dalampenelitian ini ditunjukan dengan masih adanya pandangan stereotype gender dikalangan orang tua, siswa, dan mahasiswa musik.Kata kunci : Gender, Musik, Konstruksi, Peran, Pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendiskripsikan kompetensi yang diperlukan para calon guru seni musik dalam konteks pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis action learning dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapinya. Artikel hasil penelitian ini merupakan temuan pada tahap kegiatan analisis konteks penelitian pengembangkan materi ajar mata kuliah keahlian Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Musik, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari desain penelitian model spiral yang dikembangkan oleh Cennamo dan Kalk. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada kegiatan analisis konteks yang terkait dengan kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam penelitian pengembangan materi ajar mata kuliah keahlian Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Musik dalam Konteks Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Action Learning ini diperoleh informasi pentingnya beberapa hal seperti: (1) penguasaan konsep dan simbul-simbol musik yang diperoleh melalui berbagai pengalaman musikal (bernyanyi, bermain alat musik, berkreasi  musik, dan lain-lain); (2) strategi pembelajaran seni musik yang mencakup metode, kegiatan pembelajaran, dan media pendukung; (3) kemampuan memainkan alat musik pengiring seperti keyboard, piano atau gitar; dan (4) kemampuan menciptakan lagu model yang diperlukan dalam pembelajaran seni musik.This study aims to identify and describe competencies required by students of   music education in the context of action learning-based and learning constraints that their face. This article is the result of research findings in the step of context analysis of development research  of subject matter expertise, Musical Arts Education Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University.  The study was conducted by the development  research approache adapted of the research model design developed by Cennamo and Kalk. Based on the data obtained in the context of analytical work related to the research needs required in the course of teaching material development expertise at Music Education Program Implementation in  the context of action learning-based is obtained the importance  information of things such as: (1) mastery of concepts and music symbols obtained through a variety of musical experiences (singing, playing musical instruments, creating music, etc.), (2) the art of music learning strategy  includes methods, learning activities, and media support, (3) the ability to play a musical instrument such as keyboards, piano or guitar , and (4) the ability to create a song model required in music learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Developmen) yang langkah-langkahnya diadaptasi dari model spiral.  Instrumen penilaian unjuk kerja (performance assessment) yang  dikembangkan terdiri atas: (1) butir tugas (task); (2) audio iringan musik; (3) rubrik penilaian; (4) lembar pengamatan; dan (5) pedoman interpretasi hasil penilaian. Pengembangan indikator instrumen penilaian unjuk kerja kompetensi ekspresi dan kreasi musik dilakukan dengan mengacu pada kurikulum pembelajaran seni musik kelas IX sekolah menengah pertama (SMP). Khususnya pada standar kompetensi (SK) mengekspresikan diri melalui karya seni musik dan kompetensi dasar (KD): (1) mengaransir lagu mancanegara di Asia; dan (2) menampilkan hasil aransemen lagu mancanegara di Asia. Untuk menilai kompetensi siswa dalam mencipta melodi lagu bertangga nada diatonik mayor digunakan penilaian unjuk kerja dengan teknik uji praktik mencipta melodi lagu yang dilakukan secara tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan pada tahap penerapan model menunjukkan bahwa, secara teknis model penilaian unjuk kerja kompetensi ekspresi dan kreasi musik yang dikembangkan dapat diterapkan dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji reliabilitas yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis koefisien korelasi antarkelas (intraclass correlation coefficients/ ICC) tipe consistency definition dan tipe absolute agreement definition menunjukkan pula bahwa instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan. This research was conducted by using research and development approach, in which the stages were adapted out of spiral model. Performance assessment consists of (1) task; (2) audio music; (3) assessment rubric; (4) observation sheet; and (5) guidelines of assessment interpretation. Development of performance assessment indicator of expression competence and music creation was conducted by referring to music learning curriculum of junior high schools of the IX class. Especially in terms of competence standard, it means to express oneself through works of art and basic competence: (1) arrange foreign songs in Asia; and (2) perform the song’s arrangement in Asia. To evaluate students’ competence in creating song melody of major diatonic tone, they use performance assessment by field exam in a written way. Based on the trial conducted in the model application stage, it shows that technically the performance assessment model of expression competence and music creation could be applied well. Based on the analysis of reliability test by means of intraclass correlation coefficients/ICC of consistency definition and absolute agreement definition types, it shows that assessment instruments have fulfilled the required criteria.

Abstract

Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) in Elementary School / MI, the level ofimplementation still meet many difficulties and obstacles experienced by theteachers. The research objective is to find information to develop teaching materialsbased music arts and culture for elementary school children / MI that can supportthe development of students creative thinking, provide supplies to the students lifeskills, and create a pleasant learning atmosphere (joyful learning). Based on the dataobtained, it can be concluded that the current primary school teachers / MI are stillexperiencing difficulties and obstacles in learning the art of music. Difficulties andobstacles are: (1) the ability to translate the contents of the education unit levelcurriculum (KTSP) competency-based music, (2) the ability to optimize your childsmusic potential, (3) apply the method, (4) use of education tools and media (5)utilisation of the potential of cultural and natural environments around, and (6)develop an evaluation form. In this study developed a textbook model of musicteaching materials that are expected to be implemented at the same time teachersare able to stimulate and motivate teachers to develop further music learning.Suggestions proposed is that the institutions associated with the development oflearning in primary schools can develop training programs, development ofsourcebook and textbook which considers the potential of art, culture, and the needsof teachers.Kata kunci : seni budaya, kreatif, kecakapan hidup dan menyenangkan

Abstract

This study was aimed at investigating the form of music media employed in the teaching and learning process (TLP) in the kindergartens, and the teachers’ effort to develop and apply music media in the TLP. The researchers used a qualitative approach. The research was conducted in TK Hj. Isriati Baiturahman and TK Negeri Pembina Semarang. The subjects of the study were principals, teachers, staffs and students. In collecting the data, the researchers used three different techniques: interview, observation and documentation. Then, the researchers used data reduction, categorization and data interpretation to analyse the data. The result shows that the teachers in both schools have utilized varied music media in the TLP. In TK Hj. Isriati, the teachers used music media in the form of music composition and electronic equipment; and the new music instruments were used by the teachers in extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, the teachers in TK Negeri Pembina utilized music media including music composition, music instruments and electronic equipment. The development of music media by the teachers was done by modifying lyrics, composing simple songs, utilizing rhitmical music instruments and employing electronic equipment in the TLP.

Abstract

Penilaian Seni Musik dalam praktiknya merupakan satu kesatuan dari ketiga ranah afektif, psikomotorik, kognitif, yang dirangkai dalam kegiatan berekspresi, berkreasi, dan berapresiasi. Penelitian dengan pendekatan Research and Development ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian apresiasi pada pembelajaran seni musik kelas VII yang valid, reliabel dan efektif untuk uji coba lapangan. Produk instrumen penilaian apresiasi ini divalidasi isi oleh 3 ahli dan praktisi. Instrumen yang dikembangkan diujicobakan kepada 104 siswa yang terbagi dari 3 sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang, SMP Negeri 19 Semarang, SMP Kartika II Ungaran. Hasilnya menunjukkan: (1) Pengembangan Instrumen penilaian apresiasi seni musik pada sekolah menengah pertama dikembangkan dengan 10 langkah modifikasi dari Borg & Gall (2) Instrumen memenuhi kriteria valid dan diuji secara empiris. Reliabilitas instrumen penilaian apresiasi seni musik diuji menggunakan Inter Rater Reliability  telah memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan (r ̅ > 0,70). (3)  Instrumen apresiasi seni musik ini memiliki nilai keefektifan 73% dengan kategori sangat baik.Instrumen penilaian apresiasi seni musik yang dikembangkan terbukti valid, reliabel dan efektif. Penilaian apresiasi seni musik hendaknya dilakukan secara menyeluruh pada semua standart kompetensi pada seni musik dalam satu semester supaya peserta didik secara maksimal dalam berapresiasi.This study uses a Research and Development approach aims to produce an instrument assessment on learning the art of music appreciation class VII are valid, reliable and effective for field trials. This research instrument development model refers to a model Borg and Gall, who modified. Product is validated assessment instrument appreciation contents by 3 experts and practitioners. The instrument was developed tested to 104 students from three schools divided SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang, Semarang SMP 19, SMP Kartika II Ungaran. The results show: (1) Development of assessment instruments appreciation of the art of music in junior high school was developed with 10 step modification of Borg and Gall (2) Instrument valid criteria and tested empirically. Reliability assessment instrument music art appreciation tested using Inter Rater Reliability has met the criteria set (r ̅> 0.70). (3) Instruments appreciation of the art of music has a value of 73% effectiveness with very good category. Assessment instruments developed musical art appreciation proved valid, reliable and effective. Assessment appreciation of the art of music should be done thoroughly on all standard of competence in the art of music in one semester so that participants in the maximum didiksecara appreciate.

Abstract

Kesenian Rampak kenthong adalah alat musik yang terbuat dari bambu, dalam bahasa Banyumas lazim disebut thek-thekan. Disebut thek-thekan karena sesuai dengan bunyi yang dihasilkan pada saat dipukul. Kesenian Rampak Kenthong di Kecamatan Talun memiliki keistimewaan yang ditunjukkan melalui syair lagu yang bernuansa religi dan tradisi, selain pertunjukan tari dan silat. Alat musik yang digunakan dalam kesenian Rampak Kenthong meliputi angklung, calung, bedhug, tam-tam dan kenthongan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk lagu dalam penampilan grup Rampak Kenthong di Desa Kalirejo Kabupaten Pekalongan.,(2) Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan alasan kesenian Rampak Kenthong digunakan sebagai media ekspresi estetis masyarakat Desa Kalirejo Kabupaten Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, serta metode dokumen, sedangkan teknik analisis terdiri dari tiga alur kegiatan yang terjadi secara bersamaan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) bentuk lagu dalam penampilan grup Rampak Kenthong meliputi diatonis minor, melangkah, A-B-C, baku, merah diatonis mayor, berurutan, irama semangat, pentatonis selendro, berurutan, syair bahasa arab, 2 pola bentuk lagu, 3 pola irama, gerak melangkah, pentatonis selendro, pentatonis pelog patet lima, gerak melodi melangkah. (2)  Setiap lagu dalam pertunjukan Rampak Kenthong memilki makna dan ekspresi tersendiri. Hal itu ditentukan dari bentuk musik dan syair lagu tersebut. Rampak Kenthong art is a musical instrument made of bamboo, in language banyumas commonly called thek-thekan.Called thek-thekan because in line with of sounds produced at struck. Rampak kenthong art in Pekalongan regency different than other regions, things that are different from other regions located at then the words religious nuances and traditions. In a art rampak kenthong also served dance and performing arts. An instrument used in the arts of Rampak Kenthong covering angklung, calung, bedhug, tam-tam and kenthongan. The purpose of this research are (1) to know and described the form of song in appearance group rampak kenthong in the Kalirejo village, Pekalongan regency., (2) to know and described reason art Rampak Kenthongused as a medium of expression aesthetically the village community kalirejo pekalongan regency. This research uses the method-qualitative study.Technique data collection used is the method observation, interview, and a method of documents, while technique analysis consisting of three grooves activities that happen simultaneously namely reduction data, presentation of data, withdrawal conclusion / verification. This research result indicates that (1) the song in appearance group includes diatonic rampak kenthong minor, stepped, a-b-c, raw, major red diatonic, successive, rhythm spirit, pentatonis selendro, successive, lyrical arabic, 2 pattern the song, 3 the rhythm, motion step, pentatonis selendro, pentatonis pelog patet five, motion melody step. (2) Any song in a Rampak Kenthong have meaning and expression of its own .It determined from musical form the and then the words. Based on the results of research , researchers suggested that coaching held business through training organization arts society-based by the district government pekalongan , revamping the presence of businesses and guidance in the fields of music by the village government Talun.
