Abstract

The aims of this research is to understand the factor affecting the Value of the Firm for Property, Real Estate & Building Construction enterprises enlisted in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2008-2012. The related theories being used in this research are Dividend Theory, Signaling Theory and Agency Theory. This research uses quantitative perspective with Least Square (LS). Objects used in this research are Property, Real Estate & Building Construction enterprises enlisted in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2008-2012. About 110 object are investigated (17 Property & Real Estate and 5 Building Construction). After conducting this research, the author found that Investment Decision (PER), Size and Profitability has significant positive effect to the Value of the Firm. Financing Decision (DER) variable has significant negative effect to the Value of the Firm. Furthermore, Dividend Policy has insignificant positive effect to the Value of the Firm. Institution Ownership has insignificant negative effect to the Value of the Firm.

Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of this study is (1) Determine the influence of students perceptions about the variety of teaching styles to students learning motivation of economic subjects majoring in social studies class XI SMA 6 Sijunjung. (2) Determine the influence of instructional media on the students motivation of economic subjects majoring in social studies class XI SMA 6 Sijunjung. (3) Determine the influence of discipline on students motivation to learn social studies department of economic subjects in class XI SMA 6 Sijunjung.  (4) Determine the influence of students perceptions about the variety of teaching styles, instructional media and learn the discipline of the students motivation majoring in social studies class XI economics subjects SMAN 6 Sijunjung.This research is descriptive and associative, population in this study were all students majoring in social studies classes XI SMA 6 Sijunjung as many as 79 people. The samples are 66 people with the proportional random sampling method. Primary data and secondary data that has been collected is then statistically analyzed with descriptive and inductive analysis through multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 16.0.Results of the analysis of data obtained that (4) There is a significant influence on students perceptions of variety of teaching styles, instructional media and learn discipline together on motivation to learn the sig of 0.000, which is smaller than α = 0.05. (1) There is a significant influence on students perceptions of variety of teaching styles on motivation to learn with sig for 0.030 < 0.05 0.366 level influences. (2) There is no significant impact on students perceptions of instructional media on motivation to learn the sig of 0.406 > 0.05 with a 0.127 degree of influence. (3) there is a significant influence on motivation to learn the discipline of learning to sig 0.00 <0.05 with a 0.571 degree of influence.Based on the above results it can be concluded that a variety of teaching styles and learning discipline are two factors that can impact the motivation to learn . While learning media does not affect students motivation . It is thus suggested to students majoring in social studies class XI economics subjects SMA N 6 Sijunjung to increase again to learn discipline and to teachers in order to increase the variety of teaching styles to the learning process. Keywords : Variations in style of teaching , learning media , learning discipline        and motivation

Abstract

Orientation:Using media is used to improve students cerativity and ability in writing that help students in process of prewriting, especially outlining in brainstorming students idea. There are some steps that must students do in using sandwich graphic organizer: (1) reading article that related with topic, (2) listing and clustering based on data, (3) outlining by using sandwich graphic organizer map, (4) writing phase, (5) editing phase, (6) revising phase, (7) evaluating. Research purpose: This research is aimed at finding out whether: (1) using Sndwich Graphic Organizer improved students ability in writing essay, (2) The strengthen and weaknesses of using sandwich graphic organizer. Sandwich graphic organizer is a media to help students in writing essay. Research design: The research method was action research. Technique of collecting data was kuantitative data; writing test result and quessionaire, and documentation of the writing process and learning. Technique of analisys of data were: Comparative Method and statistic descriptive. Main Finding: The research findings show that: (1) the ability of students in writing argumentative essay improve. It can be seen by students result score in postest of cycle 2 from 75 in cycle 1 to 79 in cycle 2; (2) the strengthen of using sandwich graphic organizer were: (a) students were active in process of teaching and learning, (b)sandwich helped students in making outlining, (c) by using sandwich can support students to read many articles. In contrast, the weaknesses of using Sandwich Graphic Organizer were; (a) need much time , (b)some students difficult to fill sandwich pattern.Keywords: essay writing, sandwich graphic organizer, classroom action research

Abstract

 Crops or second crop after rice, usually planted by residents when the water is not sufficient to grow rice, in addition to requiring a long time rice requires a lot of water, while crops are not, crops can be grown only by water every day, or not at all depending on soil moisture itself. Dryland farmers in Lampung are always faced with crop failure due to land resources have not been exploited to the maximum such as climate, soil type, rainfall, humidity, and others.Suitability determination system of crop land is intended to facilitate the farmers to get information about the suitability of land crops. Method development in these applications using the System Development Life Cycle Waterfall model which has several stages, namely, planning, analysis, design, implementation and sistem.Penelitian produces a detection system of crop land suitability for web-based so that farmers can get information anywhere and anytime effectively and efficiently. KEY WORDS: Land Suitability, Forward Chaining, Plant Crops

Abstract

Groundstaff has basic subjects that must be understood by a prospective groundstaff worker at the airport. It is because (1) the limitations of the subject book, (2) the difficulty of understanding English-book content, (3) the difficulty of understanding without  lecturers, and (4) a few of meeting and time on groundstaff.

Abstract

Kegiatan Administrasi perkantoran adalah salah satu kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan pada setiap unit layanan tertentu di setiap wilayah. Keterlibatan teknologi sebagai upaya peningkatan kinerja akan memberikan dampak positif bagi lembaga tertentu. Media penyimpanan dalam bentuk pemberkasan atau dokument kegiatan adalah salah satu cara agar kegiatan dapat tersimpan dan dapat dilaporkan setiap waktu. Logbook adalah kegiatan mencatat, mengumpulkan data harian disebuah unit layanan dan laporan kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan setiap hari dari kegiatan telah terlaksana sampai dengan kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan. Untuk mempermudahkan pembuatan, penginputan sampai dengan penyimpanan laporan logbook dapat dilakukan secara online agar mudah dalam pengaksesan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendukung pengembangan sistem tersebut dengan metode waterfall. Dengan pengembangan rancangan sistem ini dapat memudahkan proses pembuatan sistem karena tahapan nya yang dilakukan secara bertahap dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan sistem. diharapkan dapat mempercepat pembuatan laporan LogBook serta meningkatkan kinerja dalam unit layanan tersebut tanpa batasan waktu serta pemanfaatan teknologi. Kata kunci: Rancangan, Logbook,Waterfall

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the student acceptance of SIKESYA  (Sharia Financial System/Sikesya) application as the users by using the framework of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and its development. The constructs being tested in this research are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, experience, social influence, attitute toward behavior, behavioral intention, facilitating condition, and user behaviors. As much as 80 students has been chosen as sample which were determined using purposive sampling method. The data gathered was then analyzed using partial least square (PLS). The result showed that experience did not influence the perceived ease of use, on the other hand perceived usefulness has a positif influence toward users attitude and behavior in using Sikesya, while the perceived ease of use did not influence the users atttitude and  behavior at all, since the students would still use it as it is an application used as part of university services. The attitude and behavior did not influence the behavioral intention, whereas the social influence has a positif effect on behavioral intention, yet the behavioral intention gave positif impact to user’s behavior. Abstract

ABSTRAK Hiperurisemia dapat disebabkan oleh produksi berlebih dan kurangnya ekskresi asam urat dalam tubuh. Xantin oksidase adalah enzim yang memiliki peran mengkatalisis oksidasi hipoxantin dan xantin menjadi asam urat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tanaman obat yang memiliki aktivitas penghambatan xantin oksidase dan mengidentifikasi golongan senyawa kimianya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Continous Spectrophotometric Rate Determination. Serbuk simplisia diekstrak dengan cara refluks menggunakan pelarut etanol 80%. Dengan uji aktivitas penghambatan xantin oksidase didapatkan ekstrak yang memiliki aktvitas penghambatan, yaitu ekstrak herba suruhan (Peperomia pellucida (L.) Kunth), ekstrak daun blimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.), ekstrak daun sirih (Piper betle L.), dan ekstrak kulit kayu manis (Cinnamomum burmannii Nees ex Blume) yang memiliki nilai IC50 berturut-turut 2621,07 ppm, 1149,113 ppm, 245,30 ppm, dan 1294,58 ppm. Identifikasi kimia pada ekstrak herba suruhan menunjukkan adanya alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, dan glikosida. Pada ekstrak daun belimbing wuluh mengandung senyawa flavonoid, tanin, dan saponin. Pada eksktrak daun sirih hijau mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, dan antrakuinon. Pada ekstrak kulit kayu manis mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin Kata kunci: suruhan, blimbing wuluh, sirih, kayu manis, hiperurisemia, aktivitas inhibitor, xantin oksidase
