Abstract

PC Tablet Apple iPad is a tablet made by the Apple Inc. Tablet is sort of electronic device that looks like a regular smartphone, but with larger screen than the common smartphone. The difference tablet with the smartphone is that tablet didn't have telephony function as well short message service that usually embedded with cellphone. Apple Inc. produces many things, from smartphone until internet router, and iPad is one of the thing that bridging the gap between their smartphone, known as iPhone, to their own personal computer operating system, known as Mac OS. Producer hoping that iPad would simplify the user to do their needs that can't be executed by iPhone and the user didn't have to bother to operate their PCs. This research used explanatory research characteristic, with 100 respondents whose possess Apple iPad. This research also used non probability sampling technic particularly purposive sampling. Analysis technic used are validity test, reliability test, simple regression linear, double regression linear, T test, and F test with SPSS 21.0. From the research conclusion can be learned that product innovation, brand image and price have impact on the purchasing decision. The improvement of product innovation, brand innovation and price would improve the purchasing decision. This research suggests improving product innovation with consumer oriented value, which is provides more diverse features, maintainning brand image that Apple have already achieved, with the objective to survive market pressure from other products, and the last thing is affordability of price to acquire broader market to reduced market shifting probability and improve purchasing decision.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the phenomenon of the mobilephone technology’s development which makes the growth of the cellular network companies, where the competition between mobile networks increasingly stringent. SimPATI Prepaid GSM Card is a prepaid card from PT. Telkomsel which is very well known and always strives to provide the best quality in order to meet the needs and expectations of its customers. SimPATI proves that customer satisfied with the products by obtaining the first rank in the ICSA index, but from 2010 to 2012 the percentage continues to decline. In addition, simPATI is a top brand in relation to GSM prepaid card products, but the percentage of top brand index from 2010 to 2012 continued to decline.The objective of this research is to examine the influence of brand awareness and product quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction with simPATI GSM Prepaid Card. The type of this research is explanatory research, with technique of collecting data through questionnaires, interviews and a literature study. The technique of sampling using multistage area sampling and purposive sampling. The sample in this research were 100 respondents who are the users of simPATI GSM Prepaid Card in Pedurungan District. This research uses qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis uses validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regeression analysis, the coefficient of determination, a significant test (t and F) and path analysis using SPSS for windows version 20.0.The results of this research approved that brand awareness (X1), and product quality (X2) partially or simultaneously can influenced customer satisfaction (Z) and customer loyalty(Y). According the result of path analysis, the influence of brand awareness and product quality toward customer loyalty will be greater if through customer satisfaction.Based on the research results, the researcher suggests that the company has to improve the provision’s information on the products’s diversity, provide new innovations on features / facilities, and allows users to use the features / facilities so that the products can improve customer satisfaction to create customer loyalty on the simPATI GSM Prepaid Card.

Abstract

Labor as resources who have skills, potential and creativity need to be developed as optimal as possible to be able to achieve the success of the company. Employee productivity is affected by several factors, including the work culture, motivation and social security. Decrease employee productivity are caused by less good work culture, lack of motivation and lack of social security services. PT. Gentong Gotri Semarang as one of the organization of a business which moves in the tobacco industry inside of them there are roll departement employees who are actively involved in activities company every day which is the production of cigarette.This study aims to identify and explain the effect of cultural work , motivation and social security on employee productivity cigarette factory roll departement at PT. Gentong Gotri Semarang. This research uses research tipe explanatory approach to 75 respondents with purposive sampling technique sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of interviews, questionnaires, observation and study of literature. The analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using frequency table, cross-table analysis, validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and tests of significance (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS program for Windows version 20.0.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect between the working culture and employee productivity of 29,2%, then the motivation with employee productivity equation of 33,5%. While the social scurity with employee productivity of 23%. Simultaneous influence cultural work, motivation and social security on employee productivity of 36,2% while 63,8% is influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving employee productivity for the company to increase its attention to the work culture, motivation and assurance which in turn will ultimately increase employee productivity from employees.

Abstract

Employees represent the resource which play important role in supporting reaching of company efficacy. Therefore, company have to pay attention to the factors influencing employees in working. Good Motivation factor, good environment, appropriate compensation can grow the spirit of high job so that can affect the increase of performance of employees CV. Putra Jaya Sahitaguna, Semarang. This Research aim to know the motivation influence, environmental work, and compensation to employees performance of through spirit job. Sampel in this research is determined with the census approach many as 80 people. Its measurement scale use the scale likert. At data analysis use the simple linear regression test and test the doubled regresi. Research result show the motivate to have an effect on to employee morale of equal to 5,7 gratuity. Environmental work to have an effect on to employee morale of equal to 18,5 gratuity. Compensation have an effect on to employee moraleof equal to 10,4 gratuity.Motivate to have an effect on to employees performance of equal to 5,0 gratuity. Environmental work to have an effect on to employees performance of equal to 12,7 gratuity.Compensation have an effect on to employees performance of equal to 12,2 gratuity. Spirit of job have an effect on to employees performance of equal to 10,9 gratuity. Motivation, environmental work, and compensation to employee moraleof equal to 21,2. Motivation, environmental work the, compensation and employee morale to employees performance of equal to 20,3 gratuity. This research conclude that motivation, environmental work, and compensation have an effect on to employees performance. Companies need to approach the family, consider resting facilities, bathrooms, employee salaries and bonuses.

Abstract

RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa is a traditional restaurant. However, the advantages offered by this restaurant is considered suboptimal. Many of the complaints submitted by cosumers to the company, among others regarding who are less tham satisfactory, and etc. So that these things will obviously influence purchase decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality, product quality, and word of mouth communication to purchase decision in RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa consumer RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa, Kudus. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this research that consumers RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa  and the number of samples taken was 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this study using a non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is cross tabulation, correlation, determination, simple linear regression, multiple, t test and F test with SPSS version 16.Based on the survey results revealed that the quality service, product quality, and word of mouth communication provides a positive and significant influence on purchase decision, either partially or simultaneously. Independent variables that have the most influence on purchase decision is variable word of mouth communication. The advice that can be given is to give training to employees, improving hygiene in the dining area, increasing the neatness on every employee using a uniform, always keeping and improving the selection of raw materials to keep it fresh, adjust the portion of food that is always the same, improve service so that consumers feel deserve to recommend to the people around him.

Abstract

AbstractEvery company needs the resources that have important influence to achieve success. Success in achieving the organization's goals came from the behavior of its own employees therefore the employees that make up the structure of the organization and take advantage of technology. Performance of the employee is influenced by several factors such as motivation, competence and Working Environment. Poor performance of the employee caused by low motivation, lack of competence and a poor working environment at Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel.This research uses explanatory type approach, against 60 respondents with sampling purposive technique. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique used is quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS version 16.0 for Windows.The results of statistical analysis known partial influence between motivation on performance of the employee by 27.4%. Then competence to performance of the employee by 17.8%. while for the working environment on the performance of the employee by 35%. Simultaneous influence of the influence of motivation, competence and working environment on the performance of the employee is 34.2%, while 65.8% are influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving the performance of employees to the company to increase its attention to the work motivation, competence and working environment which in turn will ultimately increase performance of the employee.

Abstract

High competition is increasing in the marketing sphere specifically in the context of banking products. It determines the increase marketing activity therefore it is able either to maintain or to increase banking customer. The acts is by feature in quality of service and increase in qualityof customer satisfication’s rate. There is fluctuation  in the amount of customer Bank Mandiri Semarang in Branch-Pandanaran from 2005-2010. The goals of this inquiry is to find out the influence of equality of service and customer satification on customer loyality. The amount of population is 7517 people as customer and the sample of this inquiry is taken in 100 people based on purposive sampling technic. The data be analysed quanitatively and qualitatively using validity test, reability test, cross tab, and simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, correlation test, F-test, and also utility determination’s correlation with SPSS software. Statistic data calculation shows that equation of simple linier regression between quality of service toward loyality of customer is Y = 1.078 + 0.255X1. Equation of simple linier regression between quality of service towards loyality of customer is Y = 0.549 + 0.565X2.. Equity of simple linier regression between quality of service towards customer’s satisfication is Z = 3.656 + 0.420X. From each of the equity, it can be found out that there is positif determination/influence partially in between variables X  towards variables Y. As multiple linear regression showed Y = 0.259 + 0.161X + 0.224Z, therefore can be found out that both of variables X have positif determination  towards variable Y. Hypothesis test shows that variable quality of service and customer’s satisfication have positif determination towards variable customer’s loyality. This refer to tcalculation all of variables is bigger than ttabel that is 1,661. Variable of quality of service has tcalculation 11.944. Variable of satisfication’s customer has tcalculation 11.549. Whereas from F-test can be acquired Fcalculation 75.505. All variables be tested with signification rate 5 %. Therefore the hypothesis can be accepted. From this inquiry, conclusion can be gotten that quality of service and customer’s satisfication is good enough. In order to increase loyality of customer Bank Mandiri in Branch- Pandanaran, its necessary to maintain and increase rate of cleanness both either in waiting room or toilet, to increase security level waiting room, and also to give clarity of information to customers about security’s quarantee of fundary of customer in Bank Mandiri in Branch- Pandanaran.

Abstract

This research was based on rapid automotive sector business development, especially automobile. Specifically, this research was discuss about automobile buying of Toyota Avanza brand at PT Nasmoco Majapahit Semarang during 2011 - 2014 keep have sale descending and it's sale target. If that case wasn't improve and solve, probably will presence problem for PT. Nasmoco Majapahit Semarang next.Aim of this research was to found product quality, brand image and price concerning automobile buying decision of Toyota Avanza Semarang. This research type was explanatory, with data collection technique by questionaire and interview. Sampling collection technique by non probability sampling method was using purposive sampling. The sample was about 100 persons as consumers who use and bought Toyota Avanza automobile on PT Nasmoco Majapahit Semarang. This research was using qualitative and quantitative analisys techniques. Quantitative analysis  was using validity, correlation, both simple and double linear regression analysis, determination coefficient, signification test ( t and f test), using SPSS tools.The results showed that the quality of the product (X1) , brand image (X2) and price (X3) simultaneously influence consumer purchasing decisions ( Y ) . Based on the results of a two-stage regression , variables that have the most dominant effect is the brand image (X1) .Conclusion obtained was between product quality and price was have significant influence concerning buying decision. Suggestion give was automobile of Toyota Avanza brand at least take inovation quickly and accordance with consumer desirabilities and for PT Nasmoco Majapahit Semarang was often implemented promotion by giving quite big discount for it's product.

Abstract

The population density in Semarang causes various problems, such as traffic jam. BRT Trans Semarang is one of the government programs to overcome this problem. There are 4 BRT Trans Semarang’s corridor that operate now. Corridor I is the first corridor launched. The numbers of Corridor I passengers are increasing constantly. Nevertheless, the performance of BRT Trans Semarang is not optimal yet. This is showed by the articles in the newspaper about the BRT Trans Semarang’s services that need to be improved. Not Optimal services can lead to dissatisfaction of BRT Trans Semarang passengers. Furthermore, dissatisfaction can bring a bad reputation for BRT Trans Semarang. This research aims to see how the effect of Psychological Factors and Word Of Mouth in decision to the use of corridor I BRT Trans Semarang. Data collection technique used is interview and question, while data sample collecting technique used is purposive sampling with 100 sample. The data is analyzed through validity test, reliability test, crosstab, product moment correlation, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test and F-test. The data is analyzed quantitatively using the SPSS program version 20. The results showed that Psychological factors and Word Of Mouth have a significant influence in decision to the use of Corridor I BRT Trans Semarang partially. Psychological Factors and Word Of Mouth also have a significant influence in decision of the use of Corridor I BRT Trans Semarang simultaneously.

Abstract

The problem found in this study is based on the development data of Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) in 2013 to 2015, it indicates that many things do not reach the target, this is may be the implementation of organizational culture in Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) is not going well. It indicates that the employees have not responsibility in their work that causes working result is not maximum. Lijan Poltak Sinambela, (2012: 3) states that employees performance is defined as the employee’s ability in doing a certain skill.The purpose of this study is to know the influence of organizational culture, motivation and disciplinary working to the employee performance. The type of this research is explanatory research. The population is all employees of Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) with total of 54 employees. The data collection used in this research is questionnaire through validity and reliability test, interview and observation. The data analysis used is simple and multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test an F test) with SPSS 20.0 version.The result shows that the correlation of organizational culture on employee performance is in the number of 0.453. The coefficient of determination (R2) of organizational culture to the employee performance is 20.6%. The correlation of motivation to the employee performance is low and it is in the number of 0.353. The coefficient of determination (R2) of motivation to the employee performance is 12.4%. The correlation of disciplinary working to the employee performance is in the number of 0,375. The coefficient of determination (R2) of working discipline to the employee performance is 14.0%. Simultaneously, organizational culture, motivation and working discipline give significant effect to the employee performance with F calculation (6.299) > F table (2,790) with significance value is 0.001 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is the organizational culture, motivation and disciplinary working give positive effect to the employee performance in the Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP).The suggestion to improve employee performance is to maintain the business continuity, the administrator of Lohjinawe (KSP) must have many strategies to increase the productivity by considering the factor of human resources working in that place. It is done in order to improve motivation and disciplinary working of work by making cultures to give positive value to the employees.
