Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality in terms of the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and body image influenced on student loyalty with satisfaction as an intervening variable. Data were collected from 42 respondents using accidental sampling method sampling. Data analysis was carried out through analysis of research instruments that include test 0f validity of using the product moment correlation and reliability testing using Cronbachs alpha technique, the normality test, test lineritas, hypothesis test includes multiple linear regression, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). From the analysis of data obtained the following results: variable responsiveness, assurance, and the image of the institution emphaty had a positive significant influence on student satisfaction, while tangibles and reliability had not a significant and negative effect on student satisfaction. Variable reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and the image of the institution emphaty had a positive and significant influenced on student loyalty satisfaction while tangibles variable had a negative and was not significant to student loyalty. Effect of total R 2 0.982, or 98.2%. Satisfaction variable could not be an intervening variable between reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and the image of the institution emphaty loyalty. Abstract

The purpose of this study are to examine the effect of incentives on motivation and performance of employees at STIE AUB Surakarta. This study is a survey research. The data used is primary data collected through questionnaires to 33 employees at AUB STIE Surakarta. Data obtained are tested with test validity, reliability test, path analysis, t test, F test and R2 test. T test results showed that incentives have a significant effect on employees motivation, incentives have significantly influence employees performance and motivation. F test results show that the incentives and motivation variables affect the performance of employees at STIE AUB Surakarta simultaneously. The test results of path analysis show that the effect of incentive to employees performance through motivation is lower than the direct effect on employees performance of incentive variables. The test results show that the results of the total R2 is 78.6% and the remaining 21.4% described by other variables outside the model. Keywords : Incentives, motivation, employee performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify factors influencing the management and arrangement of street vendors around Pasar Klewer Solo and explain the impact of PKL structuring on business performance through a quantitative research model. The methods of data collection in this study are: observation guides, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis is divided into two stages namely descriptive and infrensial statistics. The infrared statistics use Partial Least Square (PLS). The sample was chosen purposively, amounting to 10% of the population. The results obtained in this study are: (1) The street vendors around Klewer Market in Solo City have various characteristics. When viewed from the characteristics of sex street vendors who operate in the area around the campus is dominated by men that is equal to 79,27%, when viewed from the business field characteristics of 61,36% food sales business, when viewed from the characteristic age of 54,05 % is in the productive age of 25-30 years, when viewed from education of 48,65% high school education and when viewed from the number of employees of 50.45% have 3-7 employees; (2) The management of human resources and operational management have an influence to the business performance of street vendors around Pasar Klewer in Solo proven with the result of calculation PLS where both variables have t value bigger than t table (HR Management 3,276, Operational management 2,679 > 1,96); (3) The management of finance and marketing does not have an effect on the business performance of street vendors in Klewer Market in Solo City because at the time of modification of the initial model both have less than 0.50 loading factor for each indicator; (4) Performance of PKL business area around Klewer Market in Solo City is influenced by human resource management which is reflected by labor and operational management which is reflected by workflow. The direction of the influence of HR management variables is negative, if the PKL wants to improve their performance then the labor they use should come from outside the family. While the operational management variables in the form of performance should be able to be improved by street vendors to improve their performance.Keywords: Model of PKL governance in Solo City.

Abstract

The research aims to improve the skills of the model life skills education for school drop outs to be able to live independently through entrepreneurship training. The study consisted of three variables: (1) the intensity of service models; (2) poor work skills teens drop out of school; (3) the effectiveness of service models. The research method is a survey, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Research held in the village Jurug and Jaten Palur subdistrict, Karanganyar, conducted in April-October 2014. In this study the approach of action research (action research), experiments, interviews, observation, demonstration / training, assignments to the subject of research and evaluation. Quantitative data analysis using descriptive quantitative approach, qualitative data using an interactive approach. Results: (1) obtained from the data base of potential villages in the area of research relating to problems of poor teenage dropouts in rural areas; (2) obtained baseline prevalence of poor teenage dropout from the education level and distribution that need life skills education services; (3) known to need assessment of impoverished youths drop out of school; (4) can be arranged modules educational material related to life skills needs of impoverished youths drop out of school; (5) can be prepared team implementing the model; (6) can be trained a number of 10 teams driving and implementing the model; (7) can be educated some 30 impoverished youths drop out of school, (8) can be written journals of national accredited; (9) can be written handbook lecture on life skills education and entrepreneurship.Keywords: Model of entrepreneurship education  for poor teens drop out of school through entrepreneurship training;
