Abstract

This study aimed to determine of learning independence with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models on the human reproductive system on XI MIA-5 class of SMAN 1 Kediri. Qualitative descriptive methode used to describe the ability of students to learn independently after the implementation of learning with PBL models. Indicators include independent learning confidence, responsibility, initiative and discipline in the form of a questionnaire compiled by Febriastuti (2013).  Student learning independence of XI MIA-5 class are taught by learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) with good category, sufficient, and less, the percentages were 26, 60 and 10% respectively.Keywords: learning independence, PBL Models

Abstract

Abstrak -Roro Kuning merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata di Kabupaten Nganjuk yang masih alami dan berperan penting dalam menjaga kelestarian hayati. Secara keseluruhan kawasan wisata Roro Kuning memiliki berbagai macam tumbuhan termasuk tumbuhan lumut (Bryophyta). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis lumut teresterial atau yang tumbuh di tanah lembab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode transek jalur. Sampel lumut yang diambil dilengkapi data sekunder yang meliputi suhu tanah, suhu udara, pH, kelembapan, kecepatan angin, dan intensitas cahaya. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 5 jenis lumut yakni Marchantia emarginata, Marchantia geminata, Pallavicinia subciliata, Pogonatum macrophyllum dan Plagiochila pereloides.  Kata kunci : Lumut Teresterial, Roro Kuning Nganjuk

Abstract

Kediri is an industrial town in which the industry has become main commodity livelihood for its citizen. The rapid of technology encourages the growth of industries that have great contribution for environmental pollution; one of them is sugar factory in Kediri. This factory produces liquid waste that it contains organic and un-organic compounds which its presence trigger Eichornia Crassipes grows rapidly in the river. In addition, Eichomia Crassipes has a potential as an Agnesia cleaners. This study is aimed at determining the effect of sugar factory liquid waste to the growth of Eichornia Crassipes. True experimental type RAK was selected as a research design, in which the treatment was done by 0% (as control), 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% and it was repeated 5 times. Observed parameter included root length, stem length, length and width of leaf. The systematic data was analyzed using STAT program version 2.6. the results showed significant differences in the growth of the Eichornia Crassipes  morphology on root length, stem length, length and width of leaf width and the 100 % liquid waste of sugar factory  highest average was found on the length root of stalk. On the other side, liquid waste of sugar’s factory can be used as an organic fertilizer to some extent (deposited waste). Keywords: Eichornia Crassipes, liquid waste, morphological structure

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Semen Kediri is a newly established school, hence the facilities and infrastructure to support learning activities have not been available yet. This study aims to determine the role of the media of environment to enhance the activity and results of learning science of students of Grade X-TKJ SMK 1 Semen Kediri. The study was conducted as Class Action Research according Kemmis and Taggart (1992) as much as two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages i.e:  planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The parameters observed in each cycle were cognitive learning outcomes and student activity. Learning outcomes was measured by post-test, whereas students' activity was measured by assessment rubric according Supinah (2009). Media usage environment can improve student learning outcomes than the average 78 in the first cycle to 85 in cycle II, as well as an increasing of the percentage of student activity, i.e. 74% in the first cycle to 8t% in cycle II.Keywords: media, environment, learning outcomes, students’ activities

Abstract

Aktivitas siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran IPA rendah, karena proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan lebih didominasi oleh guru dan kurang melibatkan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA melalui model bermain peran di kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 1 Semen, Kediri. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan model Kemmis dan Taggart (1992) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap sikus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu: rencana tindakan, pengamatan, refleksi. Parameter yang diamati adalah aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar. Aktivitas siswa diukur dengan rubrik menurut Supinah (2009), sedangkan hasil belajar diukur degan post test yang dilakukan pada akhir setiap siklus. Model pembelajaran bermain peran dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa sebesar 71,8 % menjadi 84,6 % pada siklus II, sedangkan hasil belajar pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 77,1 menjadi 79,3 pada siklus II.Keywords: Aktivitas, Bermain Peran, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

To improve student learning outcomes is the selection of methods and media appropriate learning. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes with the experimental method supported the real media and experimental methods with the pictures media on the  third-grade students of SDIT Pace Nganjuk . Research conducted by experiments with subjects of the IIIA grade by 25 students taught by the experimental method supported of the real media  and the IIIB grade  by 25 students taught by the experimental method supported of the picture media. The results show that the average and mastery of cognitive learning outcomes of students who are taught by an experimental method supported of the real media are 81.00 and 100 % respectively better than those taught using the experimental method supported of the picture media are 76.75 and 85 % respectively . Average affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of students who are taught by an experimental method supported of the real media are 13.85 and 12 respectively , while the average affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of students who are taught by an experimental method supported of the picture media  are 11 and 10.5 respectively. Keywords: experimental methods, real media, picture, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi daya tahan kardiovaskuler (VO2Max) pada warga binaan lapas kelas 1 A Kota Malang rendah dan fisik juga rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan setiap hari warga binaan berhadapan dengan tembok dan jeruji besi yang menjadikan kebosanan dan kejenuhan bagi penghuninya, sehingga peneliti mengembangkan latihan senam Bio Energy Power untuk warga binaan. Dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan fisik dan daya tahan pada warga binaan di lapas kelas 1 A Kota Malang.  Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angka sebagai data yang diambil, diolah dan disajikan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental, penelitian eksperimental adalah rancangan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan sebab-akibat antara variabel dengan melakukan manipulasi variabel bebas. Hasil setelah dilakukan pengukuran pada saat sebelum diberi perlakuan atau pre test yaitu 23,6, berdasarkan tabel normatif masuk dalam kategori very poor. Setelah diberi perlakuan atau post test meningkat menjadi 25,4, berdasarkan tabel normatif masuk dalam kategori very poor. Jika dilihat dari tabel, bahwa tingkat VO2Max pada warga binaan di lapas kelas 1 A Kota Malang sebagian besar berada pada kategori sangat kurang dan kurang.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Dengan hasil nilai tersebut dapat di simpulkan bahwa dengan diberikan latihan senam Bio Energy Power maka dapat meningkatkan VO2Max pada warga binaan lapas kelas 1 A Kota Malang, kuncinya yaitu dengan rutin latihan senam BEP olah napas dan olah gerak untuk bisa melipat gandakan besaran energy dalam tubuh, sehingga daya tahan meningkat dan kesehatan juga meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the anticancer mechanism of the bioactive compound of Pisangulin angulata and to assess the feasibility of that results as teaching material. This research includes descriptive explorations. In the first stage, an in silico analysis was performed by molecular docking method between physalin compounds and GLI1 protein. The second steps of this study aim to develop teaching materials based research using the Analysis, Reorganizing, Piloting Class, and Evaluating (ARPE models). Feasibility test was carried out by experts and practitioners. Think Pair Share was used in the pilot project. Student motivation and misconception were recorded using SMI and CRI instrument. This study reveals that physalin B has higher activities than controls. The type of chemical bond that is formed between GLI1 amino acids residues with physalin is hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic bonds. The visualization of the types of bonds in that molecular docking between GLI1 amino acid residues and physalin has a high degree of feasibility (89) and can be used to enrich Chemistry for Biology lectures. The visualization of these chemical bonds can increase learning motivation and can improve the understanding of the concept of chemical bonds.

Abstract

Kawasan wisata air terjun Irenggolo memiliki potensi keragaman hayati yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu diketahui terdapat sebanyak 35 jenis kupu-kupu di kawasan ini. Jumlah individu sebanyak 1.622 individu tergolong tinggi. Populasi kupu dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan pakan dan habitatnya. Pengetahuan pengelola Kawasan wisata menjadi penting karena akan menentukan keberlangsungan jenis kupu yang ada. Metode  pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara menggunakan angket yang telah tervalidasi oleh ahli. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperoleh, diketahui bahwa sebanyak 8,6% responden dapat dengan benar menyebutkan lebih dari tiga jenis tumbuhan pakannya. 60% responden hanya mampu menjawab sebanyak kurang dari tiga jenis corak warna sayap kupu-kupu. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa edukasi kepada pengelola sangat penting untuk dilakukan.

Abstract

Problem-solving is the basis for identifying problems, making choices, and considering options based on the obtained information. The research objective is to create a problem-solving-based skills assessment instrument based on Greenstein on ecosystem materials. This research uses the Plomp model R&D (Research and Development) development method. The tool uses an expert validation sheet. The study is limited to testing the feasibility of the instrument. Data analysis with percentage technique. The results showed that the assessment instrument for problem-solving skills was feasible with the results of the validation of practitioner experts 86.2% "Very Valid", 93% assessment experts "Very Valid", material experts 85.8% "Very Valid", and linguistic experts 83.2% "Sufficiently Valid". The validity test results on items with a decent category obtained 17 'Valid' questions. The reliability test results got the results of 0.752 "high reliability".
