Abstract

William Tyndale's efforts to translate the Bible into English had an impact on the spread of the Bible in society and the development of evangelical reformed theology. This article aims to find and provide an introduction to William Tyndale's theology on Bible translation efforts and its implications for evangelical reformed theology. The writing method used is a systematic theological study with descriptive analysis. The results found are that the church is never separated from the people, thus advancing the ministry of the people and having the belief that every devotee has the right to read, understand the Scriptures, and warn teachers and pastors when they deviate. All work is a holy calling and doing it for Christ.

Abstract

The books of Chronicles (1 and 2 Chronicle), Ezra and Nehemiah usually been understood as three separate  books, written by different authors. But lately The Old Testament experts claim, that these three books were written in a school  called Historical Work of Chronicles or "HWC. There are two groups of  experts  on HWC, namely the first group states that HWC was written in one period by this school , and the second  group HWC was written  stages and  different times (separated by a long period of time) but having the same point of view. This article uses an exegetical study method with an editor-critical approach. The aim of this is to demonstrate the viewpoint of evidence (b) above, that there is a multi-layered editorial process that shows the process of the Chronic Historical Work (which will then be abbreviated as HWC).

Abstract

The view of God's essence has been debated since the dawn of Christianity. This debate exposes whether Allah is polytheistic or monotheistic with its variants. In discussing this topic the authors use the method of the history of religion or Religionsgeschichte which is included in a series of critical historical methods. The result of this research is that God in Christianity is Monotheism here also not pluralism. Monotheism is meant here is monotheism which is more to individual responsibility. Monotheism is more to respect other individuals.   Pandangan tentang esensi Allah menjadi perdebatan sejak awal munculnya kekristenan.
