Abstract

The study is aimed at examining the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance through employee empowerment and organizational commitment as a mediating variables of the cluster of carving copper in Cepogo Boyolali. The research samples cover 30 employees of the CV. Intermedia Logam as part of a cluster of carving copper. Sample determination applies totals sampling or population sampling in which all members of the population are used as research samples. In examining the established model relationship, the data are analyzed by using path analysis. The results reveal: transformational leadership gives positive and significant effect on employee empowerment; transformational leadership gives positive and significant effect on employee performance; employee empowerment gives positive and significant effect on employee performance; organizational commitment as a mediating variables between transformational leadership and employee performance, employee empowerment as a mediating variables between transformational leadership and employee performance, and organizational commitment as a mediating variables between employee empowerment and employee performance. This research suggests that companies disseminate the vision, mission and goals; conduct of training; and providing incentives to the agreement in order to achieve employment targets.

Abstract

Current condition of the laptop competition is very tight, so the company should make a strategy to achieve a higher market share. Laptops are one of the tool to meeting the needs of consumers in the field of technology and information. Dell is a company engaged in the information technology industry. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of brand image and product quality to the brand laptop Dell purchase decision. This type of research is explanatory research, the number of respondents are 100 peoples with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires, interviews, and literature. The analytical method used is the validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, t test, regression multiple linear, and F testBased on the analysis of the study variables of brand image and product quality has a positive influence on purchasing decisions. Quality variable of the products have the most impact which 56.3%. While the brand image variables have an effect of 46.7%. Taken together (simultaneously) variables brand image and product quality has a contribution of 59% of the purchase decision. In conclusion there is positive between the brand image and product quality to the Dell brand laptop purchase decision. Suggestions for improvement of purchasing decisions by improving product quality and pay more attention to deficiencies which can be obtained through consumer complaints. Besides maintaining a good brand image that is by keep in constant communication with consumers and provide a clearer information to attract the attention of consumers better.

Abstract

Human resource management plays an active role in improving employee performance through a number of variables that influence it, including the leadership, work discipline and employee performance. Perum Perumnas Regional V Semarang is one public company engaged in the construction and housing sales nationwide. However there are still some issues regarding employee performance Perum Perumnas Regional V Semarang who have not reached the standard of performance. So this study can provide a view of the constraints experienced by employees Perum Perumnas Regional V Semarang.This research uses explanatory research type of approach by the number of respondents were 63 employees with sampling probability sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire and literature study techniques. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using analytical tools such as cross table, validity, reliability, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing by t test and F test.The results showed that the presence of a significant and positive impact between employment and kepemimnan discipline on employee performance. Labor discipline became one of the dominant factors that impact on employee performance. Suggestions can be submitted is the leadership in general has shown a high condition. For the sake defend, managers need to provide a more open opportunity for every employee to argue as well as in making employment decisions. Labor discipline in general have shown a high condition. Efforts to maintain these conditions should continue to be done. In order to improve better work discipline and its application accordingly, should the company give closer scrutiny in any violations committed by employees

Abstract

AbstractEvery company needs the resources that have important influence to achieve success. Success in achieving the organization's goals came from the behavior of its own employees therefore the employees that make up the structure of the organization and take advantage of technology. Performance of the employee is influenced by several factors such as motivation, competence and Working Environment. Poor performance of the employee caused by low motivation, lack of competence and a poor working environment at Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel.This research uses explanatory type approach, against 60 respondents with sampling purposive technique. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique used is quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS version 16.0 for Windows.The results of statistical analysis known partial influence between motivation on performance of the employee by 27.4%. Then competence to performance of the employee by 17.8%. while for the working environment on the performance of the employee by 35%. Simultaneous influence of the influence of motivation, competence and working environment on the performance of the employee is 34.2%, while 65.8% are influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving the performance of employees to the company to increase its attention to the work motivation, competence and working environment which in turn will ultimately increase performance of the employee.

Abstract

The lifestyle changes of people nowadays can we feel along with this modern era. One of that lifestyle changes is about Shopping activities. Along with the development of technology makes people easier to get what they need. Now people can enjoy e-commerce facilities to get what they need. One of the e-commerce that developed in Indonesia is Shopee. Until 2018, Shopee has not been ranked first as an e-commerce site that is frequently visited. This is due to the many negative reviews on Shopee products that make people reluctant to buy through Shopee. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and price on purchasing decisions. The type of research was explanatory research and sampling using the nonprobability technique purposive method, collecting data using the google docs questionnaire. The number of samples used was 100 respondents from Active Student of FISIP Undip. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficients, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance of t test, and F test by IBM SPSS program (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 23 The results showed that online consumer reviews and online customer rating have a positive influence on purchase decision through Shopee. Online Customer Reviews and Online Customer Rating showed 0.452 the relationship between the two variables with purchasing decisions has a sufficient relationship. The coefficient of determination shows that the online customer review on the purchase decision variable is 0.161, or 16,1%, so it can be interpreted that the contribution of online customer review on purchasing decisions is 16,1% while the other 83,9% is influenced by another factors than online customer review. While the online customer rating variable determination coefficient on the purchase decision variable is 0.069 or percentage of 6,9% so that it can be interpreted that the contribution of online customer rating influence on purchasing decisions is 6,9% while the other 93,1% is influenced by factors other than online customer rating.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the increasing number of beauty clinics which offer various kinds of products and treatments to meet the needs of community in the field of beauty. Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang is one of the beauty clinic that seeks to meet the needs of consumers in the field of beauty care with the concept using natural ingredients. Customer visits in Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang each year has not reached the target. It indicates a problem with Larissa’s customer loyalty.The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of product quality and service quality toward customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The type of this research is explanatory research. The population is all of Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang customers. While the sample of this study are 100 customers. Data collection is using a questionnaire with purposive sampling. The analytical method used in this study is two-stage regression analysis using the software SPSS for Windows version 17.0, where the validity test, reliability test, coefficient of correlationt, simple and multiple regression, the determination coefficient, significance test (t test and F test) are done first. Based on two-stage regression analysis results show that variable product quality (X1) and service quality (X2), whether partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant toward customer satisfaction (Z). Partially, variable customer satisfaction (Z) also has a positive and significant toward customer loyalty (Y). Based on the research results, the company is expected to improving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by maintain the quality of products and quality of services provided. Larissa had to control all the composition of the ingredients used in the manufacture of each product. In addition, Larissa should hold routine evaluation for employees in providing treatment to make employees more skilled in providing outstanding service. It is also a good idea that Larissa can add the variety of products and treatment in order to increase the completeness type of beauty treatment in Larissa.

Abstract

Along with the competition among similar companies and so diverse with rapid changes in the roduct and services are issued by the company is obviously very demanding empployee to achieve a good work result in quality and quantity Employee performance is a determining factor for the achievement of corporate goals. Therefore in this research raise work culture, job satisfaction and employee commitment, which pointed out as an important affecting employee performance.The objective of this research is to examine the influence of work culture  and job satisfaction on employee performance  with employee commitment as intervening variable. The type of this research is explanatory research, with technique of collecting data is interviews which using questionnaire as instrument. The sample in this research were 40 respondents with technique of sampling is census sampling. Using a Likert Scale as the measurment scale. Data analysis in this research used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis used statistic test there are correlation coefficient test, simple and multiple regeression analysis, the coefficient of determination, a significant test (t and F) and path analysis using SPSS for windows version 16.0. Validity test and reliability test are used to test instrumen of collecting data. Qualitative analysis used to tabel analysis, respondent perception and companies representation.The result of this research approved that work culture (X1) has positive influenced to the employee commitment (Y1) as 51,9%. Job satisfaction (X2) has positive influenced to the employee commitment (Y1) as 49,9%. Employee commitment (Y1) has positive influenced to the employee performance (Y2) as 63%. Work culture (X1) has positive influenced to the employee performance (Y2) as 73%. Job satisfaction (X2) has positive influenced to the employee performance (Y2) as 43,8%. Work culture (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) have positive influenced to the employee commitment (Y1) as 61,7%. Work culture (X1), job satisfaction (X2) and employee commitment (Y1) have positive influenced to the employee performance (Y2) as 79,7%. According to the result of path analysis, the influenced of work culture (X1) to the employee performance (Y2) will be greater if through employee commitment (Y1) as 80,5% and the influenced of job satisfaction (X2) to the employee performance (Y2) will be greater too if through employee commitment (Y1) as 76,4%.Based on the research results, the researchers suggest that the company giving training (in house training) which purpose to upgrade employee’s soft skills like ability to have socialiszation and good team work with partner, courage to making a decision. As a reward to employee can form of except monthly incentive and money which give in every years like reward as like electronic goods. It’s will increase employee’s commitment and performance that employee reach.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasingly strict business world, accompanied by the times that requires every manufacturer to be able to improve the performance of each employee. One of the products that can be affected by the times are herbs. Herbal products become one of the favorite alternative medicine in Indonesian society given the herbal raw material and has become an entity of hereditary tradition. However, in the period 2010-2013 year results that employee performance production departement of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang fluctuated. If this is not addressed then feared PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang can not meet the needs of the market and the popularity of herbal medicine will be replaced by other manufacturers.            The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation, transactional leadership styles and organizational culture on employee performance of production of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang. This research method is explanatory, with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used purposive technique sampling. The samples are 90 peoples whom are employees of the production departement of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang. The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test).            The results of this study showed All independent variables, namely motivation (X1), transactional leadership style (X2), and organizational culture (X3) together (simultaneously) or individually (partial) affect employee performance dependent variable (Y). Advice can be given that the need for the physical layout of a good and convenient for employees as the embodiment of a strong organizational culture of the company. In addition, companies need to provide training for employees and distribution of informative information, considering the standard of the company that changes according to market conditions at that time.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the decrease in the sales division employees at PT. Nasmoco Kaligawe annually. In addition, many employees who complained about the lack of support in the organization of work, coupled with the level of employee performance in achieving sales targets fluktuatif. The aim of this research is conducted to determine the influence of commitment organizational and perceived organizational support to company performance through organizational citizenship behavior. The population is all of employees of the sales division. The sample are 60 person of employees of sales division, with sample technique used was sensus sampling. The analysis used in this research is the Path Analysis using software SPS 15.0, which previously tested the validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and signification test (t test and F test) first. The result of this research approved that commitment organizational (X1) and perceived organizational support (X2) partially or simultaneously can influenced organizational citizenship behavior (Y1) and employee performance (Y2). According the result of path analysis showed that organizational citizenship behavior variable is intervening variable towards employee performance in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of  promotion, intensity of competition, and product policy on marketing performance bandeng presto. This type of research is explanatory research, with methods data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Sampling techniques using the technique of nonprobability sampling and samples are saturated. The sample in this research were 31 businessmen bandeng presto on Sentra Bandeng Presto. This research uses techniques of quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using the test of validity, reliability, regression analysis, the determination coefficient, test of significance (t-test).From the data analysis it can be conclude, that the indicate below entire partially independent variable, the variable promotion (X1) effect on the marketing performance (Y) amounted to 40,9%, intensity of competition (X2) effect on marketing performance marketing (Y) of 61,2%, and policy products (X3) effect on performance marketing (Y) of 54,9%.
