Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research background by students comprehension of mathematical concepts that were still low. The students didn’t want to express their own idea, so they didn’t want to ask about the unknown concepts. This research’s purpose is to make sure that students comprehension of mathematical concepts using active learning strategy by Giving Question and Getting Answer is better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts using conventional learning for grade VIII students of SMP 28 Padang. This method of research was experiment research with random to the subject. The population research is grade VIII students of SMPN 28 Padang except class VIII.1 that was the superior class. Analysis technique used was t test one party by MINITAB and the result was P-value less than , so it can conclude that students comprehension of mathematical concepts using active learning strategi by Giving Question and Getting Answer was better than using conventional learning for grade VIII of SMPN 28 Padang.

Abstract

This research purpose was to find out whether there was a relationship of teacher competence, work dicipline, and compensation with the effectiveness of teacher certification of SMP Negeri in Terbanggi Besar District academic year 2014/2015. Based on the analysis of data, it were obtained as follows: (1) there was a positive correlation between the effectiveness of teacher competence on teacher certification of SMP Negeri in Terbanggi Besar District academic year 2014/2015, (2) there was a positive correlation between the effectiveness of the work discipline on teacher certification, (3) there was a positive relationship between compensation and effectiveness of the work on teacher certification, (4) there was a positive and significant correlation between teacher competence, work discipline and compensation to the effectiveness on teacher certification.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan kompetensi guru, disiplin kerja, dan kompensasi dengan efektivitas kerja pada guru sertifikasi SMP Negeri Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh sebagai berikut (1) ada hubungan yang positif antara kompetensi guru dengan efektivitas kerja pada guru sertifikasi SMP Negeri Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, (2) ada hubungan yang positif antara disiplin kerja dengan efektivitas kerja pada guru sertifikasi, (3) ada hubungan yang positif antara kompensasi dengan efektivitas kerja pada guru sertifikasi, (4) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi guru, disiplin kerja, dan kompensasi dengan efektivitas kerja pada guru sertifikasi.Kata kunci:disiplin, efektivitas kerja, kompensasi, dan kompetensi kerja
