Abstract

This study aims to determine the Gondang Sabangunan performance in accompanying Sigale-gale at the Huta Bolon Museum for packaging tourism performances, impact and government support. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The speakers in this study were employees of the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum, 5 music players, 10 dancers, Simanindo community leaders, and tourists. The data was collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results showed that the development of cultural tourism through the Gondang Sabangunan performance that accompanied Sigale-gale which is a cultural attraction to attract tourists at the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum. The tortordi performance of the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum was held on an open stage in the old village of Huta Bolon. Performances are not sacred but still follow the customary rules of the nigondang such as the number of types of gondang, the rules for requesting the type of gondang, the rules for movement in tortor, clothes and equipment. Another packaging of the show form is the short and dense duration, full of variations, an imitation of the original form. Tourists can enjoy the potential of Batak Toba culture, such as music, dances, historical objects, and the nuances of the Toba Batak village.

Abstract

This study discusses the collaboration of traditional musical instruments and modern musical instruments in accompanying Sunday services at HKBP Tanjung Sari Medan. The purpose of this study was to find out the background and process of collaboration of traditional musical instruments and modern musical instruments in the HKBP Tanjung Sari church in Medan. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The location of the study was carried out at the Tanjung Sari HKBP church, Jl. Setia Budi No. 11, Medan. The population of this study is traditional musical instruments and modern musical instruments used in accompanying Sunday services at HKBP Tanjung Sari Medan. While the samples in this study were Taganing, drums, keyboards, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, saxophone which were used to accompany Sunday services at HKBP Tanjung Sari Medan. The data collection technique is through observation, interviews, documentation, and library studies. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that traditional musical instruments and modern musical instruments used in accompanying Sunday services at HKBP Tanjung Sari Medan, namely: Taganing, drums, keyboards, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, saxophone. The songs used in accompanying Sunday Service at HKBP Tanjung Sari Medan, and the collaboration process of traditional musical instruments and modern musical instruments in the HKBP Tanjung Sari church in Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakangĀ  berdirinya Qinia Music Course sebagai lembaga musik. ProsesĀ  pembelajaran vokal klasik pada anak usia 8-10 tahun di Qinia Music Course. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran vokal klasik pada anak usia 8-10 tahun di Qinia Music Course. Sarana dan prasarana yang disediakan untuk menunjang pembelajaran vokal klasik pada anak usia 8-10 tahun di Qinia Music Course. Kendala pengajar dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran vokal klasik pada anak usia 8-10 tahun di Qinia Music Course. Cara guru mengevaluasi hasil pembelajaran vokal klasik pada anak usia 8-10 tahun di Qinia Music Course. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat kualitatif yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara rinci dan jelas tentang suatu fenomena yang menjadi fokus penelitian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Direktur Qinia Music Curse 1 orang, Pengajar/instruktur vokal klsik 1 orang, dan siswa yang berjumlah 10 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, demonstrasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Metode ceramah, Metode Ceramah Plus Demonstrasi dan Pelatihan, Metode Demonstrasi, Metode Tanya jawab, dan metode latihan (drill) Cukup berhasil membangun pemahaman siswa tentang teori dasar musik, bagaimana membaca notasi dan menyanyikan lagu dengan vokal klasik yang baik.
