Abstract

Acceptance of new students (PPDB) is a crucial moment for the school because it is the starting point that determines the smooth running of the school's activities. Therefore, school principals are required to implement a management function in the process of accepting new students. The formulation of the problem raised by the researcher is how the principal's management in the acceptance of new students (PPDB) at SMPIT Istiqomah Global School Karawang, what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the acceptance of new students at SMPIT Istiqomah Global School Karawang, what are the results of the principal's management in the acceptance of new students at SMPIT Istiqomah Global School Karawang. This research uses a qualitative research approach and the type is descriptive research. The data sources used are primary data, namely school principals, PPDB committee, and waka curriculum, while secondary data are teachers, guardians of students, documentation, and archives. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the researcher is data reduction in data presentation and drawing conclusions or evidence. To test the validity of the data, researchers used the original triangulation technique, member check, and used peer discussion. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the principal's management in accepting new students includes planning (planning what is needed, committee, time, place and implementation of PPDB). Organizing (division of tasks, online and offline PPDB and the PPDB system in the form of a selection system). Actuating (providing PPDB information through banners posted on the roadside, brochures given by students, and pamphlets through social media, during PPDB at the beginning of semester 2 (two), where PPDB is offline at the SMPIT Istiqomah Global School Karawang office and online at the link http://ppdb.igs.sch.id/. Controlling Controlling (the head oversees the PPDB process, and assessment meetings. 2) Supporting factors (facilities, clear and structured committees, and school existence) Inhibiting factors (uniforms do not match the initial size) solutions to repair without paying again 3) with good management the result is an increase in the number of new students, the implementation of PPDB goes as planned.

Abstract

Seluruh elemen mengakui bahwa pendidikan karakter dalam era milenial serba digital ini sangat penting dan relevan untuk diaplikasikan diseluruh jenjang pendidikan untuk mengatasi dekadensi moral yang mewabah di nusantara ini. Krisis tersebut antara lain menururunnya sopan santun anak-anak dan remaja kepada orang yang lebih tua, siswa berani melawan guru di sekolah, pergaulan bebas (free sex), meningkatnya kejahatan terhadap teman sejawat, menyebarnya prilaku konsumtif narkoba dan menonton film pornografi dan sering kita jumpai masalah-masalah social yang terjadi pada anak-anak usia sekolah baik di perkotaan ataupun di pedesaan sekalipun, hal tersebut belum dapat diatasi secara menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu di sini membentuk karakter anak sangatlah penting. Terutama peran guru di sekolah/pondok pesantren untuk mencetak generasi berkarakter dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Semakin banyak generasi berkaraker niscaya kebangkitan suatu bangsa dari kemerosotan akan tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa besar peranan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di pondok pesantren Nihayatul Amal dalam upaya untuk menanamkan dan membentuk karakter-karakter sesuai dengan karakter bangsa Indonesia yang dilakukan oleh para santri dan santriwati dalam kegiatan sehari – hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan yaitu metode studi kasus. Penelitin ini dilakukan dengan subyek penelitian santri dan santriwati Pondok Pesantren Nihayatul Amal Rawa Merta Karawang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini peneliti berharap agar dapat memberikan kontribusi dan manfaat bagi semua pihak-pihak yang terkait, terutama pihak pondok pesantren dalam rangka menanamkan dan membentuk karakter santri sesuai dengan karakter bangsa Indonesia dan khususya sesuai dengan ajaran agama Islam sehingga dapat bermanfaat juga bagi sekolah/pondok pesantren lain pada umumnya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many cases in the classroom such as calling fellow friends by the name of their parents, sleeping during class hours, joking excessively so that learning is a little disturbed. This type of research is a field research (Field Research), using qualitative research methods. Presentation of data is done descriptively through data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. This study aims to find out how the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in strengthening students' Akhlakul Karimah, the process of inculcating Akhlakul Karimah behavior and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in order to strengthen students' Akhlakul Karimah at SMP IT Al-Istiqomah Global School. In this study, it contains the expository strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the post-covid-19 pandemic in order to strengthen students' Akhlakul Karimah, the expository strategy here is carried out by explaining first about the moral material then students discussing and the teacher will give an example of the moral material. In order to strengthen Akhlakul Karimah students in schools are also supported by existing programs in schools such as Mabit, LDKS, Qur'an Camp and Social Service which can support in order to strengthen Akhlakul Karimah Students so that cases that occur in schools can be reduced even though it has not been 100 % as expected.
