Abstract

Abstraction This study is to find the efforts of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in improving the reading skills of the students of MA Balongrejo Sumobito Jombang. This research is a qualitative research that uses a psychological and pedagogical approach. The data sources are: primary data and secondary data. The instruments used in data collection are: observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used is data processed by qualitative analysis by going through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the supporting factors of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in improving the ability to read the Qur'an were, the existence of extracurricular activities of tahfidz Qur'an and adequate facilities and infrastructure. As for the factors that become obstacles, namely, there are still students who have not been able to read the Qur'an, and the efforts of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in improving the ability to read the Qur'an, namely, providing motivation, taking approaches, habituation of tadarrus Al -The Qur'an to students at every hour of the Al-Qur'an Hadith lesson begins, and gives assignments / homework in the form of memorizing surahs related to the material discussed at each meeting. Abstract

This study aims to examine strategies for building children's character through online learning in the field of moral creed during the Covid-19 pandemic at MA Balongrejo Sumobito Jombang. In this study, the authors used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews/interviews with moral creed teachers and online with children via WhatsApp complete with documentation. While the data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative with data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that during the PSBB period during the Covid 19 pandemic, MA Balongrejo Sumobito Jombang students are still expected to be able to take part in online learning using HP technology with adequate applications, but if there are students who cannot take part in online learning, educators must provide lessons with Offline (Home Visit). This was done with the hope that they would also be able to meet the guardians of the students, and also be able to help shape children's character in the field of morals such as speaking politely, being religious and making parents proud of their good ethics.
