Abstract

The study site is administratively located at Ngadipiro village, Nguntoronadi subdistrict, Wonogiri regency with the total area of 663.61 ha. The coordinate of the study site lies at latitude of 7o52’00” – 7o54’15” S and longtude of 110o57’45” – 111o60’45” E and altitude of 196-427 m a.s.l. According to geomorphologic, the study site is a denudation hilly area, which severely scraped, with the type of primary land use is rainfed, which occupied by annual crops and seasonal crops. This reaserch were aimed at: 1) identify the physical problems and soil cultivation that have caused the land degradation; 2) obtain the alternative solutions for land degradation, which is suitable with the land physical condition. The type of this research is phenomenology description, with the method of surveying. Land mapping technique used the overlay of three maps, i.e: slope map, soil depth map and land use map, which is obtained from the interpretation of topographic map with the scale of 1:25.000. The obtained land unit was used for analysis unit. The land evaluation was carried out based on: 1) observations of land degradation indicators (land cover, outcrop, soil erosion, soil slide, bench erosion and soil depth); 2) soil erosion analysis with USLE formula, which described by soil hazard class. The alternative solution were based on the land degradation types, the threat levels of land degradation and the land management by farmers. Conclusions: physical problems found are: 1) the climate conditions promoted physical and chemical rocks weathering; 2) the volume of eroded soil corresponded to slope, which shaped “S”; soil management problem found are: 1) land management by farmers also could drive the land degradation, 2) the low level of farmers economical condition resisted the adoption of technology innovation by farmers. The alternative solution offered are minimum soil tillage (TOT) at 9, 10, 11 and 12 land units. On the other hand, the land units of 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 12 required the roraks construction and the planting of cover crops and annual crops periodically.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan memperoleh penilaian hasil belajar fisika yang autentik, dan mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pelaksanaan authentic assesment dalam menilai kinerja siswa terhadap peningkatan minat, motivasi dan semangat dalam mempelajari mata pelajaran fisika pada setiap siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Palu yang mengikuti mata pelajaran tahun pelajaran 2005/2006 dengan jumlah 40 siswa yang terdiri atas 21 siswa laki-laki dan 19 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tiap-tiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi authentic assesment melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat menilai hasil belajar fisika siswa yang autentik, dan meningkatkan minat, motivasi, dan semangat dalam mempelajari mata pelajaran fisika pada setiap siklus. Hal ini didukung hasil analisis yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kinerja siswa dari 69,59 (kategori baik) pada siklus I menjadi 77,05 (kategori baik) pada siklus II, adanya peningkatan hasil fisika siswa pada tes formatif siklus I yang mencapai 70,50 menjadi 74,03 pada siklus II, dan peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa berdasarkan portofolio pada siklus I dan II masing-masing sebesar 71,93 (kategori baik) dan sebesar 79,26 (kategori baik).

Abstract

This study aims to analyse internal and external factors into strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and formulate an alternative strategy development of Agricultural extension information through Simluhtan Program in Sleman District. The research method is qualitative method with deep description strategy. The research location was UPT BP3K (Agricultural Extension Offices at Sub-District Level) in Sleman. Location determination was selected purposively, and data collection is done by deep interview, literature, and documentation. The results show the strength of the Simluhtan program is its online presence, availability of fast and accurate related facilities and administrator, while the weakness is the remote BP3K location, lack of administrator and officers on duty, lack of data update as well as coordination. Opportunities that can be utilized for the sustainability of the program is the accessible data online, the existence of government policy in institutional development of Agricultural Extension towards Sleman Smart City, easier and more efficient information technology, the need for data accuracy, while the threats are the existence of hackers, lack of coordination in the shift of the system from the central government, as well as decrease in numbers of extension officers as the main actors. Strategies that can be proposed is related to human resources development in terms of information technology, extension institutional development and the extension officers? ability in implementing the programs, and development of support facilities connected to the Internet. Keywords: Agricultural Extension, SWOT Analysis, Simluhtan

Abstract

Pembuatan  jeruji sangkar burung secara manual sangat tidak efektif dan efisien karena membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan presisi yang rendah serta keseragaman ukuran tidak akurat. Metode yang digunakan saat penelitian adalah quality function development dimana metode tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan desain serta spesifikasi mesin yang sesuai dengan keinginan atau permintaan konsumen guna mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai keinginan konsumen. Teknik analisa penelitian ini menggunakan independent sampel t-test comperative dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS pada komputer. Metode independen sample t-test adalah metode atau prosedur yang digunakan untuk membandingkan rata-rata dua variabel dalam satu grup, artinya ini berguna untuk melakukan pengujian terhadap dua sampel yang berpasangan. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sampel t-test comperative bahwa ad perubahan yang menonjol pada waktu penyerutan antara penyerutan secara manual dengan menggunakan mesin penyerut otomatis. Probabilitas (sig) 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak, atau rata-rata hasil waktu dalam penyerutan bambu secara manual dengan secara otomatis berbeda signifikan. Artinya hasil waktu penyerutan secara manual lebih lama dibandingkan dengan waktu menggunakan otomatis. Dalam pengujian penyerutan bambu dengan panjang 60 cm secara manual  rata-rata waktu terhitung 344.1 detik sedangkan menggunakan mesin irat bambu rata-rata waktu terhitung 233.3 detik. Mesin irat bambu ini perlu di kembangkan lagi sesuai denganperkembangan di era modern ini.

Abstract

One way to realize a sustainable agricultural system is with an organic farming system. Rukun Makaryo Farmer Group is the farmer group in Karanganyar Regency that referred to organic farming system training at the National level from 2007-2011. Rukun Makaryo Farmer Group has succeeded in creating castle waste as fermented solid and liquid organic fertilizer. Rukun Makaryo Farmer Group has the opportunity to be assessed by the organic rice certification team from the Persada Organic Rice Certification Agency on members 5,9 hectares of land. This research aims to analyze the sustainability of the organic rice program in Rukun Makaryo Farmer Group; 1) Analyze the obstacles that hinder the process of sustainability of the organic rice program, 2) Analyze the hopes of the farmers in realizing of sustainability organic rice program, and 3) Formulate alternative recommendations strategies for assisting farmer groups so that in the future they can carry out the sustainability of the organic rice program independently. This research was conducted in Pereng Village, Mojogedang, Karanganyar, with seventeen respondents of organic farmers. This research method was a qualitative description with a phenomenological approach. This research activity will be gained experience and subjective awareness and interpretation of efforts to maintain the status of organic rice certification. The results showed that; 1) Obstacles that hinder the process of sustainability of the organic rice program are low education, age of farmers, high cost of certification, difficulties in marketing, and complexity of the cultivation technique process, 2) Rukun Makaryo Farmer Group hopes that to have access marketing partnerships so that there will be an increase in selling prices and the development of economic conditions for farmers, and 3) Recommendations for assistance by rice field approach, simultaneous planting system, strengthening farmer organizations with establishing the Internal Control System (ICS), and developing agricultural products marketing systems and facilities.

Magelang had met theelement of offense contained on the Article 310 paragraph (3) Act Number 22 of2009 concerning Traffic Light and Road Transportation explaining that: Everyonewho drive a vehicle that due to his/her carelessness causes a traffic accident inwhich the victim is heavily injured as meant by Article 310 paragraph (3), he/shewill be punished with imprisonment for maximally 5 (five) years and/or fine asmuch as IDR 10,000,000.00 (ten million Rupiah). That in Article 310 paragraph(3) Act Number 22 of 2009 concerning traffic and road transportation explains:Everyone who drive a vehicle that due to his/her carelessness causes a trafficaccident in which the victim is heavily injured is punished with imprisonment formaximally 5 (five) years or fine as much as IDR 10,000,000 (ten million Rupiah).The elements of Article : a. Abstract

Local knowledge is the various works and initiatives of a certain community which are believed to be useful for fulfilling part of their daily needs. This local knowledge can take the form of a set of knowledge and skills in creating something that is believed to be very useful. The source or origin of local knowledge and skills is generally acquired from generation to generation or the result of paying attention to and practicing it yourself over and over again the result of the experiences of others arround it. The use of this local knowledge has been empirically believed and proven by local community from time to time. One of the works of the Rukun Makaryo Farmer Group, Pereng Mojogedang village, is the ude of cattle rumen and its contents as a biodecompuser in the process of fermentation of solid wate from castle to fermented solid organik fertilizer. The rationale is very simple, namely in the rumen of cows there are bacteria that can destroy various forages that are eaten by cows. Therefore, if the bacteria can be cultivated outside the cow’s stomach, it can be used to overcome the abundant solid wate of cattle in rural areas to become solid organik fertilizer needed by farmers.

Abstract

Dalam rangka ikut berperan serta dalam upaya mengembangkan sistem pengering surya, maka dalam penelitian akan dilakukan rancang bangun dan uji eksperimental kinerja energi dan eksergi sistem pengering surya konveksi alamiah tipe terdistribusi untuk proses pengeringan berbagai komoditi pertanian dan perkebaunan. Pengkajian terhadap kinerja energi sistem dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengatuh berbagai parameter  yang mempengaruhi kinerja energi sistem pengering surya seperti media absorber yang digunakan dalam proses pengeringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  unit pengering yang dirancang dengan media penyimpan panas pasir dan kerikil mampu menaikkan temperatur ambien masing-masing sebesar 9.2 °C dan 3.07 °C pada proses pengeringan kacang. Penggunaan pasir sebagai media penyimpan pada unit pengering yang dirancang mampu menaikkan laju pengeringan kacang kedelai masing-masing sebesar sebesar 10,91% dan 57,69%. Besarnya perubahan eksergi aliran panas pada unit pengering mencapai 316172,1 J, dan semakin besar perubahan eksergi aliran udara yang melewati unit pengerin, maka laju pengeringan akan semakin meningkat.
