Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sikap pustakawan dalam layanan perpustakaan dan persepsi pemustaka terhadap sikap pustakawan dalam layanan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga orang pemustaka. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling.  Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemustaka mempersepsikan pustakawan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan baik dan ramah dalam melayani. Namun, dinilai belum peka atau belum memiliki sikap penuh perhatian kepada pemustaka. Pemustaka terlebih dahulu meminta tolong pustakawan, baru setelah itu pustakawan datang membantu pemustaka. User Perceptions of Librarians' Attitudes on Library Services at the Library and Archives Service of South Kalimantan Province. The purposes of this study were to determine the attitudes of librarians in library services to users and user perceptions of librarians' attitudes in library services at the Library and Archives Service of South Kalimantan Province. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the research subject of three users using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by observation and interviews, while the data analysis used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the users perceived the librarians at the South Kalimantan Provincial Library and Archives Service as excellent and friendly quality in serving users but were not sensitive or did not have an attentive attitude to the users there yet. However, the librarians first asked for help from the librarians and then the librarians came to help the users who needed it.
