Abstract

Extension agents as the spearhead of extension services to farmers is a figure who has the role of developing farming and increasing agricultural yields. Extension officers are required to have the competencies expected by the organization. Implementation of competencies is monitored through performance appraisals. Regular monitoring of the work of extension agents is expected to provide future work development. Organizational commitment is a variable that plays a role in shaping job satisfaction. Extension instructors who show commitment are satisfied with their work. This research involved 35 instructors in Lumajang Regency, East Java Province. By using multiple linear regression analysis tools will be analyzed the effect of performance appraisal variables and organizational commitment on the job satisfaction of instructors partially and simultaneously. The results of this study stated that performance appraisal proved to have a significant effect on instructor job satisfaction. Organizational commitment proved to have a significant effect on job satisfaction of extension workers. Performance appraisal and organizational commitment simultaneously have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of instructors.

Abstract

The efforts of bakers to compete in the bakery industry are shown by always paying attention to competitors' prices and developing quality products for customers. Bakers strives to achieve customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction and a pleasant experience provide a greater opportunity to make a decision to repurchase bakery products. repurchase decisions also reflect the price and quality of products that meet customer expectations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price and product quality on repurchase decisions at Primadona Surabaya bakery. This type of research is explanatory research at the Primadona bakery, Surabaya. The population in this study were all customers who had bought bread and cakes at Primadona Surabaya bakery with 100 respondents. The results showed that the price had a significant effect on the repurchase decision. In addition, purchasing decisions made by consumers are also significantly influenced by product quality. Price and product quality have been shown to have a significant influence on the formation of joint repurchase decisions

Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving the quality of human resources is focused on a variety of things that can affect job performance. There are two variables that are thought to have contributed to the formation of job performance, namely the work environment and organizational culture. This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of the work environment and organizational culture on job performance. The research will be conducted in one of the micro businesses in Kranggan District, Mojokerto Regency which involves 25 employees to be involved as respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis is used as an analytical tool to prove the research hypothesis. The research findings suggest that (1) the work environment has a significant effect on job performance; (2) organizational culture has a significant effect on job performance; and (3) work environment and organizational culture simultaneously have a significant effect on job performance. Abstract

Abstract:  When completing education, a person is required to have abilities that can be used at work. The ability to think critically is a competency needed in the era of the industrial revolution. By having these abilities, students will be able to solve problems through systematic analysis. This study was designed to seek information about the effect of discovery learning methods and lecturer knowledge on students' critical thinking skills. The research sample is students who study higher education in Surabaya with a total of 40 respondents. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires using google form. The research data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Data processing shows that discovery learning has a significant effect on building students' critical thinking skills. Knowledge of lecturers is also proven to have a significant effect on shaping students' critical thinking skills. Together, discovery learning and lecturer knowledge have a significant influence on critical thinking skills.Abstrak: Saat menyelesaikan pendidikan, seseorang dituntut memiliki kemampuan yang dapat digunakan saat bekerja. Kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah kompetensi yang diperlukan di era revolusi industry. Dengan memiliki kemampuan tersebut, mahasiswa akan dapat menyelsaikan masalah melalui analisis yang sistematis. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning dan pengetahuan dosen pada kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian merupakan mahasiswa yang menempuh pendidikan tinggi di Surabaya dengan jumlah 40 responden. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form. Data penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran discovery learning memberikan pengaruh signifikan untuk membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Pengetahuan dosen juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan untuk membentuk kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Secara bersama-sama pembelajaran discovery learning dan pengetahuan dosen memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Unsur manusia dalam organisasi selalu berkaitan dengan perilaku dan karakteristik individu yang mempengaruhi hasil kerja dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Peranan motivasi, religiusitas, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja perlu dicermati untuk mengetahui dukungannya terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi melalui pencapaian kinerja pegawai. Studi ini untuk mengamati peran motivasi kerja, religiusitas, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Survei ini menggunakan teknik sampling sensus. Jumlah responden sebanyak 128 responden. Untuk memperoleh hasil dari data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan teknik regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa motivasi kerja dan religiusitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Temuan lain menyebut ada peran dari kepemimpinan dan variabel lingkungan kerja membentuk kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Community service activities during the post-Covid 19 pandemic focused on MSMEs in the Kauman Village area, Warrior Kulon District, Mojokerto City who were affected by the Covid 19 event. Community service activities were carried out as a form of concern for MSMEs who lost income due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Community service activities were carried out as a forum to provide assistance in the form of knowledge to the community, especially MSMEs. This community outreach activity was carried out by several lecturers and students at the University of Mayjen Sungkono Mojokerto. This training was attended by 15 MSMEs in the Kauman sub-district, Soldier Kulon sub-district, Mojokerto City. The implementation of community service activities is carried out for approximately 8 hours. MSMEs can optimize sales and get additional income for post-covid 19 financial income, by providing training starting from the start of production, packaging, taking product photos and digital marketing by using and following current technological developments such as websites. In addition, this activity was also carried out to build good relations between the surrounding community and the University of Mayjen Sungkono Mojokerto.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi suatu usaha untuk memberikan dampak konstuktif positif kepada komunitas masyarakat tertentu dengan tujuan memberikan peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan dan kualitas hidup komunitas masyarakat tersebut secara keseluruhan. Salah satu masalah di masyarakat yang sering dihadapi oleh banyak keluarga adalah kekerasan pada anak yang dapat berdampak negatif pada masa depan anak tersebut dan juga memberikan kontribusi pada tindak kejahatan. Oleh sebab itu, pengabdian kepada masyarakat saat ini bertujuan memberikan penerapan ilmu tentang manajemen partispasi sosial kepada Forum Puspa Kota Mojokerto. Penyuluhan ini di buat untuk memberikan ilmu pengetahuan dasar tentang manajemen partipasi kepada peserta sehingga Kader Puspa dalam melakukan sosialisasi kekerasan pada anak dapat menerapkan dengan tindakan rasional dan praktis . Metodologi pelatihan ini melibatkan Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Mergelo, Balongsari, Kecamatan Magersari Kota Mojokerto yang diselenggarakan pada hari Sabtu, 23 September 2023, bertempat di Kantor Dinas Sosial P3A Kota Mojokerto. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan tiga fase yaitu pertama persiapan, kedua program kerja, dan ketiga pelaporan. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah warga desa ibu-ibu Forum Puspa. Hasil capaian yang diharapkan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang manajemen partisipasi dan kemampuan pendekatan ke masyarakat agar mudah dalam menyampaikan informasi lebih efektif dan rasional. Dengan demikian, diharapkan mereka akan dapat meningkatkan sosialisasi dan kepedulian terhadap kekerasan terhadap anak di kota Mojokerto.
