Abstract

This research is motivated by the considerable potential and market share of millennials as a tourism target market. The promotion strategy of a tourist destination is carried out through innovative media, one of which is through movie media or empirically known as the concept of Movie Induced Tourism. This research was conducted to determine the effect of movies on millennial tourist visits, applying descriptive quantitative research methods. Questionnaires were used as data collection techniques to obtain primary data and through journals and e-book to get secondary data. SEM-PLS has been applied to measure relationships between variables and research models. The results of this study are that movies attributes can have a significant positive effect on personal connections and AIDA Model.

Abstract

The pandemic that has hit the whole world has made the tourism industry suffer loses. Consumers are looking for safer tourism activities. Tourism business people are looking for solutions to this by creating a new adaptive tourism trend, which is the Work-Based Vacations (Workcations), an evaluation of the word “Bleisure”. A digital nomad who works as a freelancer is intrested in this trend. Using the AIDA+S (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action, Satisfaction) model, this research was conducted to determine the interest and satisfaction of digital nomads in the trend of Workcations in the Bandung Raya area’s hotel accomodations. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with frequency analysis, cross=tabulation, and scoring analysis. Samples were taken using a stratified random sampling technique to 105 respondents. Respondents are digital nomads who worked as a freelancer and had carried out the Workcations trend in a hotel in the Bandung Raya Area during the new normal period and are aged 17 years old and over. The results of the research show that the interest and satisfaction of digital nomads are high on the trend of Workcations as an alternative tourism trend in the new normal period.

Abstract

The development of ecotourism in the South Bandung Region has empirically impacted nature and society. To overcome the negative impacts of these developments, efforts are needed to educate tourists about the protection of nature and society and the purpose and principle of sustainable ecotourism development. This article contains the process of designing a guidebook for self-guided ecotourism tours in South Bandung to support sustainable tourism management in the region. By involving 134 South Bandung tourist respondents, this design has successfully applied the Technology Acceptance Model theory as a design platform. The results of this design in the form of a travel guidebook are expected to be widely used by stakeholders and become empirical evidence of the application of TAM as a framework for designing the latest travel guidebook
