Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe several forms of career counseling services that can be adopted in the implications of civil servant management in central and local government agencies considering that career development is one form of civil servant management as regulated in Law Number 11 of 2017 concerning Civil Servant Management. However, career development does not always go well, various problems faced by employees can be an obstacle to career development. Career counseling as a service that aims to overcome employee problems is expected to be able to help so that the mandate of the Law can be achieved. Counseling aims not only to address pathological problems and provide interventions for those with mental health challenges but also includes the goals of promoting health, personal growth, education, and career development. The method used in this article is to use a Systematic Literature Review involving 15 documents from 2012 to 2018 and to identify 3 forms of career counseling services that are relevant to the management of civil servants, including civil servant career transition counseling, counseling for civil servants with disabilities, counseling for elderly civil servants.

Abstract

Psychological well-being menjadi topik yang sering diteliti sejak pandangan psikologi positif berkembang tahun 1988 dan berbagai studi dilakukan termasuk menghubungkan psychologicall well-being dengan kepemimpinan. Kedua konsep ini menjadi tema pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diinisiasi oleh sebuah konsultan dengan memetakan kesamaan permasalahan para manajer terkait dengan kinerja karyawannya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan kepada 5 orang peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa aspek kemandirian dari psychological well-being menjadi permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi dari pre-test maupun pertanyaan dan diskusi dari peserta. Diharapkan kegiatan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan manfaat bagi peserta dalam memahami konsep, implikasi, serta implementasi dari psychological well-being ini dalam kepemimpinannya sebagai manajer di perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dukungan sosial, strategi coping, resiliensi, dan harga diri terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis siswa SMA di Kota Sukabumi. Sebanyak 400 siswa SMA berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini, dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner laporan diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat faktor berkorelasi positif dengan kesejahteraan psikologis, dengan dukungan sosial, strategi coping, dan ketahanan memiliki dampak yang lebih kuat daripada harga diri. Interaksi antara dukungan sosial dan resiliensi ditemukan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mempromosikan dukungan sosial dan keterampilan membangun ketahanan mungkin merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa sekolah menengah. Pendekatan komprehensif yang memperhitungkan banyak faktor diperlukan untuk mengatasi kesejahteraan psikologis siswa sekolah menengah.

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing the provision of incentives for civil servants in the Cirebon Local Government. The research adopts a quantitative research design and utilizes survey questionnaires to collect data from a representative sample of 121 civil servants. The variables examined in the study include organizational justice, competence, and leadership effectiveness. The findings indicate that organizational justice significantly influences the provision of incentives, highlighting the importance of a fair and equitable work environment. Competence also emerges as a crucial factor, emphasizing the need for employees to possess the necessary skills and abilities to excel in their roles. Furthermore, effective leadership is found to have a positive impact on incentive provision, underscoring the significance of capable and motivating leaders. The results of this study contribute to the understanding of incentive systems in the Cirebon Local Government and provide insights for policymakers and human resource managers. By considering the factors of organizational justice, competence, and leadership effectiveness, the government can design and implement effective incentive programs that enhance employee motivation, satisfaction, and performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas masalah kesenjangan layanan kesehatan mental di kalangan remaja di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan metode campuran, yang menggabungkan survei kuantitatif dan wawancara kualitatif, penelitian ini meneliti prevalensi masalah kesehatan mental, hambatan dalam mendapatkan layanan, sikap terhadap kesehatan mental, dan pengembangan strategi intervensi yang inovatif. Temuan menunjukkan prevalensi masalah kesehatan mental yang signifikan, termasuk depresi dan kecemasan. Hambatan untuk mendapatkan perawatan meliputi keterbatasan finansial, kesadaran yang rendah, dan kelangkaan tenaga profesional kesehatan mental. Stigma budaya menghalangi pencarian bantuan, yang mencerminkan pentingnya pertimbangan budaya. Strategi intervensi yang diusulkan menekankan pada pendidikan kesehatan mental, keterlibatan masyarakat, layanan yang dapat diakses, dan sumber daya digital. Dengan menjembatani kesenjangan ini, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan layanan kesehatan mental dan mengurangi stigma di kalangan remaja di Jawa Barat.
