This research aims to find out the most dominant figurative language that usedin poems of Robert Frost.This study includes to qualitative research with a objective approach to analyze the poems of Robert Frost‟s selected poems. The sources of data is obtained in this study by looking for books and internet that contains about literature and poetry. The writer uses note taking method in the collection of data that is by reading, writing and looking for poems of Robert Frost‟s selected poems related to the formulation of the problems. The technique of analysis of the data is by reading, identifying, understanding, finding, and making conclusion every poems which is analyzed from the poems of Robert Frost‟s selected poems related to the formulation of the problems in the study.The results of the study shows that the most dominant figurative language in the selected poems are two Metaphor, eleven personification, four symbol, three hyperbole, and one repetition. So, it can be coclude that this selected poems are dominate by “Personification”.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan penyuluhan, pembinaan dan pelatihan kepada masyrakat pengerajin batik di Desa Banyu Biru, Kecamatan Widodaren, Kabupaten Ngawi.hal ini dilakukan karena para pengrajin batik tersebut menggunakan pewarna sintetis dalam mewarnai produk mereka dan membuang limbah pewarna secara sembarangan. Hal ini tentunya akan berpengaruh kepada lingkungan mereka. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya penyuluhan, pembinaan dan pelatihan dalam rangka mengurangi pembuangan limbah secara sembarangan tersebut.

This study intends to enhance the first semester comprehension skills of Class X TKJ students at SMK Nagara Kedunggalar using the SQ4R approach. Action research in the classroom is used in the study. Only one cycle of three sessions was used for the research. Participants in the study include the author, an English teacher, and 26 TKJ students in the tenth grade from SMK Nagara Kedunggalar. Both qualitative and quantitative data are present in this study. The qualitative information was gathered through student and English teacher interviews, as well as observation of the teaching and learning process. The results of the pre- and post-tests for reading comprehension are used to generate the quantitative statistics. The three action research methodologies are used to conduct the study in a methodical manner. They include preparation, execution, observation, and reflection. The pupils must meet five benchmarks, including the ability to identify the main concept of a narrative work, identify references and vocabulary, and create a conclusion or summary. Additionally, the students' interest and participation can be increased by using the SQ4R approach. The majority of students are able to get past whatever issues they may have with the signs. According to the advancement of the mean value of the students' pre-test and post-test scores, the implementation of the SQ4R approach can improve the students' reading ability. Their post-test scores had a mean value of 83 while their pre-test scores had a mean value of 39. This accomplishment demonstrates how the SQ4R approach can help pupils' reading comprehension skills.

This research aims to obtain the meaning and the appearance of phatic in a class discussion. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection methods were in the forms of listening and speaking. The data collection techniques used writing and recording. The obtained data were analyzed using the padan method. The data analysis consisted of data reduction, data display, and verification. Based on the results of the research, there were four appearances and the meanings of phatic pragmatics in the discussion. The meanings of phatic pragmatics consisted of a) the phatic pragmatic meant an acceptance, b) the phatic pragmatic meant the inviting, c) the pragmatic meant a refusal d) the pragmatic meant gratitude. There were four purposes of phatic pragmatics, namely, 1) to respect others, 2) to take care of other people’s feelings, 3) to enhance cooperation, and 4) to improve humor.

Kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menulis kalimat efektif diselesaikan dengan memadukan model STAD dan google meet. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan enelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan rancangan kegiatan II siklus, Penilaian berupa nilai proses dan hasil yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan hasil menulis, . Pada siklus I ketuntasan mencapai 46%, dan siklus II telah mencapai 100%. Dengan demikian kemampuan menulis kalimat efektif dapat ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajran STAD dengan bantuan media google meet.

Novel merupakan salah satu bentuk karya sastra yang erat hubungannya dengan manusia. Apalagi novel ini juga terus mengikuti perkembangan politik di masyarakat. Salah satu pengarang yang karyanya banyak mengandung unsur politik pada masa orde baru adalah Ayu Utami. Novel Saman karya Ayu Utami merupakan novel yang bercerita tentang politik, kekuasaan, ideologi rezim Suharto dan memberikan gambaran tentang politik dan kekuasaan pada masa orde baru Indonesia. Novel Saman karya Ayu Utami sangat layak dijadikan objek penelitian skripsi karena novel tersebut mengandung beberapa hal: (1) pertikaian politik, kekuasaan, ideologi yang dimiliki pemerintah pada masa orde baru, (2) novel Saman memiliki rangkaian kata yang dapat membuat pembaca seolah masuk ke dalam cerita, (3) mengandung unsur politik, kekuasaan dan ideologi pada rezim orde baru, tetapi juga menceritakan sejarah di bawah pemerintahan Suharto dalam gempuran demokrasi, (4) memberikan pengetahuan kepada pembaca tentang mogok yang tidak diinginkan. bekerja. Dari kesemuanya tersebut, ada tiga hal pokok yang menjadi pembahasan yaitu pertarungan politik representasi, kekuasaan, dan ideologi.

ABSTRACTThe rapid development of science and technology can be utilized by the community. The development of technology has now shown very rapid progress. Many sectors of life have used the existence of technology itself. Its presence has had a considerable impact on human life in various aspects. The product of technological developments is LinkedIn. The Linkedin application can be used to apply for jobs. The use of the LinkedIn app needs to be taught to students. Such use includes how to use and take advantage of the features contained in Linkedin. The use of the Linkedin application is taught at SMK PGRI 6 Ngawi which is intended for students in grades 11 and 12. The result of using the Linkedin application is that students can create a Linkedin account, create a portfolio on Linkedin, apply for work online through Linkedin, create a curriculum vitae on Linkedin.Keywords: Using Linkedin, SMK PGRI 6 NgawiABSTRAKPerkembangan Ilmu dan Teknologi yang semakin pesat dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Perkembangan teknologi kini telah banyak menunjukkan kemajuan yang sangat pesat. Berbagai sektor kehidupan telah menggunakan teknologi dan kehadirannya telah memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap kehidupan manusia dalam berbagai aspek. Produk perkembangan teknologi adalah LinkedIn. Adanya aplikasi Linkedin bisa dimanfaatkan untuk melamar pekerjaan. Penggunaan aplikasi LinkedIn perlu diajarkan kepada siswa. Penggunaan tersebut meliputi cara menggunakan dan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang terdapat dalam Linkedin. Penggunaan aplikasi Linkedin ini diajarkan di SMK PGRI 6 Ngawi yang ditujukan bagi siswa kelas 11 dan 12. Hasilnya penggunaan aplikasi Linkedin ini adalah siswa dapat membuat akun Linkedin, pembuatan portofolio di Linkedin, etika melamar kerja secara daring melalui Linkedin, membuat curriculum vitae di Linkedin.Kata Kunci: Penggunaan Linkedin, SMK PGRI 6 Ngawi

Suwuk is a traditional medicine that still exists in Javanese society, including the Ngawi people. This study aims to describe and explain the Javanese people's mindset about suwuk as a traditional medicine. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were people who were directly involved in the Suwuk procession in the Ngawi Regency, East Java Province. The result of his research is that Suwuk is included in the element of technology. The practice of suwuk is carried out using media and mantras. Community pattern construction: Suwuk still exist and coexist with modern medicine; The emergence of diseases can be caused by two things, namely diseases that can be treated medically and there are diseases that are considered unnatural so that they must be treated through Suwuk. There is a pattern of community treatment that applies from generation to generation and is suggestive. The treatment procedure through Suwuk consists of two stages, namely: first, the stage of diagnosis and selection of the right treatment method; and second, the application of treatment. Diagnosis is basically done through numerology or petungan , intuitive knowledge. While the application of treatment through techniques, among others, through the media and spells.

Sering sekali mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan menulis kalimat efektif dalam penulisan ilmiah, hal ini akhirnya dapat terselesaikan dengan memadukan model STAD dalam proses pelatihan penulisan ilmiah di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penggunaan model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Team (STAD) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kalimat efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dirancang dalam dua siklus kegiatan, Penilaian berupa nilai proses dan hasil yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan hasil menulis . Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I ketuntasan mencapai 46%, dan siklus II telah mencapai 100%, dengan demikian kemampuan menulis kalimat efektif dapat ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajaran STAD.
