Abstract

Salon is a form of business associated with beauty care, face, hair, and others for both men and women. Salon became the type of business in the interest of business by utilizing social networking, ads, brochures, and websites to promote the salon. E-salon is a marketplace website which facilitates the salon in terms of delivery the salon promotion and salon service sales. Salon provides a salon service to come home and can open many new jobs. To solve this problem, a website was developed using programming language such as HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap 3, and PHP, and using MySQL or known as MariaDB for data storage. The website was developed using Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology approach. The result of this website development is able to assist the salon in terms of promotion and sales of salon services, create new jobs, and make it easier for customers to find their desired salon.Keywords: salon, website, Rapid Application Development (RAD), marketplace

Abstract

MIKA College X Academic Portal is a website designed to make academic administration easier for students and staff. This approach was designed to address time inefficiencies in academic administration for both faculty and students. MIKA not only simplifies academic administration tasks, but it also has capabilities that make reviewing students' Final Projects easier. The MIKA College X Academic Portal is available at all times and from any location. Because the usage of the MIKA academic portal is critical to the performance of higher education business operations, this research included a usability assessment that evaluated usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. USE QUESTIONNAIRE to access MIKA's academic portal. Based on the findings, it can be stated that the MIKA Academic Portal is fairly good in the eyes of its users, who include students, professors, and staff. This can be seen in the results, which show that on a scale of 1 to 7, the lowest value achieved is 5.67 and the highest value obtained is 6.47. The MIKA College X Academic Portal's usefulness measurement scores are 6.04 equals agree, ease of use is 5.85 equals agree, ease of learning is 5.97 equals agree, and satisfaction is 6.04 equals agree.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan untuk membekali siswa agar mampu menvisualisasi rancangan website sekolah ke dalam bentuk prototype dengan menggunakan tools atau alat bantu desain. Pelatihan perancangan menggunakan konsep user interface dengan langkah-langkah kegiatan seperti pembuatan bahan ajar untuk kegiatan pelatihan, kegiatan instalasi software Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 dan pelaksanaan pelatihan di mana pelatihan dilakukan selama dua hari selama tiga jam. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan, para siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk membangun sebuah website sekolah sesuai kreatifitas mereka masing-maisng dan dipilih dua pemenang dari masing-masing ruang kelas. Di akhir proses pelatihan, para siswa mengisi kuesioner untuk mengukur keberhasilan pelatihan. Hasil rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 65,17 dan hasil posttest sebesar 93,03 yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman para siswa tentang penggunaan Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 untuk mengembangkan website sekolah.
