Abstract

Abstract− In the era of regional autonomy, the village is a very important part in determining the success of development and in direct contact with the community, especially in public services. Server is a medium that has an important role to provide internet access services for its users. So that the network can be used optimally, it is necessary to have a server. This study aims to design a server in the Tomuan Holbung Village Office, Asahan Regency by building an efficient, flexible server infrastructure and optimizing resource use, so that it can be adjusted to the workload so that hardware resources are optimal. This research was conducted to be a solution for the use of hardware resources provided by the Server machine that has not been used optimally, so efficient steps are needed to overcome this problem. The results of the research obtained are in the form of server design and optimizing the use of resources and managing servers efficiently in terms of time and cost.

Abstract

Di era otonomi daerah, desa merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam menentukankeberhasilan pembangunan dan bersetuhan langsung dengan masyarakat terutama dalam pelayanan publik. Server merupakan media yang memiliki peranan penting untuk menyediakan layanan akses internet bagi penggunanya. Agar jaringan bisa dimanfaatkan secara optimal maka diperlukan adanya server. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang server dilingkungan Kantor Desa Tomuan Holbung Kabupaten Asahan dengan membangun infrastruktur server yang efesien, fleksibel serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan resource, sehingga dapat disesuaikan dengan beban kerja agar resource hardware menjadi optimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjadi solusi akan penggunaan sumber daya perangkat keras yang disediakan oleh mesin Server belum digunakan secara optimal, sehingga dibutuhkan langkah yang efisien untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian yang didapatkan berupa perancangan server serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan resources dan memanajemen server secara efisien dari segi waktu dan biaya.

Abstract

Tomuan Holbung Village is a village located in North Sumatra. As a village, there is still information that has not been accessed by many others through public communication, namely the internet. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an information system. Technology changes human life into quick and easy access to information data. Technology contributes to the arrangement of management systems and work processes in government and private institutions. One of the applications of Information Technology in village life is the use of the Village Information System (SID). In the development of this web-based village information system using the spiral method in development which consists of analysis, design, coding and testing as well as entity relationship diagrams in designing the database. The existence of a website-based village information system can facilitate devices in processing village information data to be more effective and efficient in providing information about village government in Tomuan Holbung Village. In addition, researchers also added features of activities that were widely informed. The Village information system is equipped with a web-based display so that users can adjust the contents in the system such as a web-based village information system as a means of information in web development in Tomuan Holbung Village using the spiral method.

Abstract

Bad governance or poor governance by some economic actors is one of the causes of the economic crisis in Indonesia. So that the emergence of public mistrust of government performance. To restore public confidence to the government, good governance is needed, one of which is the application of e-government. E-government is a form of information and communication technology by the government which can provide information and services to the public, business affairs, and matters relating to government. One of the results of the development of e-government is e-Village Budgeting. E-village budgeting is an online-based village budget management application in order to increase transparency and accountability of the village budget. One of the problems that often arises in the administration of village governance is related to the administrative system of village financial management that is not orderly, so that not a few that cause problems of irregularities in the use of the budget. This research will be designed a web-based application that can help make financial reporting easier. The application was made so that budgeting and development monitoring in remote villages are more transparent.

Abstract

Kampung Nelayan Indah merupakan salah satu kelurahan berada di kecamatan Medan Labuhan Medan Sumatera Utara, secara administrative Kampung Nelayan Indah memiliki 8 Lingkungan. Sejarah geografis kampung Nelayan Indah cukup unik, dimana dahulunya Kampung Nelayan Indah merupakan suatu kawasan hutan bakau dan rawa, yang berlokasi di Pekan Labuhan dan di huni oleh para nelayan penangkap ikan tradisional. Kondisi pemukiman yang sangat kumuh membuat Walikota Medan pada tahun 1994 membangun perumahan di kawasan Kampung Nelayan indah. Hingga saat ini kawasan perumahan kampung nelayan ini resmi menjadi kelurahan defenitif di Kotamadya Medan. Berbicara tentang perkembangan kelurahan Kampung Nelayan saat ini sudah sangat pesat, berbeda jauh seperti tahun 1990 an. Masyarakat yang bermukim di Kelurahan Kampung Nelayan saat ini tidak hanya sebagai nelayan, akan tetapi banyak juga pelaku bisnis dan UMKM menjamur di Kampung Nelayan Indah. Seiring perkembangan teknologi Kelurahan Kampung Nelayan pun terus berbenah memperbaiki dan meningkatkan pelayanan berbasis teknologi digital. Seakan tidak mau ketinggalan dengan kelurahan lain, kelurahan Kampung Nelayan Indah juga berkeinginan menerapkan pengembangan Sistem Informasi Kelurahan.

Abstract

Literacy is basically a person's ability to understand, process and communicate information received through reading and writing activities. This ability will then be used to find information in solving problems that exist in everyday life. Literacy ability is very identical with the daily life of society. Starting when a child can recognize various kinds of symbols, pictures, numbers, writing, instructions, until he is able to assemble letters into sentences that contain meaning. This literacy has started in people's lives so it must be brought back so that it does not experience fading and disappears slowly. A country will progress because of knowledge. Adolescents who already have an interest in reading will certainly have broad insights and knowledge. Knowledgeable teenagers will be able to become good successor assets and be able to prosper their environment and even a country. The existence of books for the younger generation at this time is not only as an item to memorize, but also as a form of insight that can help people to know themselves more deeply, understand about social dynamics, to get to know the whole world. With this the community service team intends to hold outreach to increase children's and youth's interest in reading and raise awareness of the importance of the benefits of reading.
