Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning behavior in learning geography with the type of cooperative learning teams-games-tournaments (TGT).This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Tumijajar Bone Western Onion collaborative and participatory. The subjects in this study were all students of class XI IPS 3 in SMAN 2 Tumijajar totaling 27 students. The object of this research is to improve students' learning behavior in learning geography with type TGT cooperative learning teams-games-tournaments, which consisted of the presentation of the class, group learning, games, tournament, and awards groups. Religious studies is a class XI IPS 3 SMAN 2 Tumijajar Margomulyo village, subdistrict Tumijajar Bone WesternOnion. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings.Results showed changes in students' learning behavior in learning geography by learning models kooperatis TGT type that has been pursued through the planning stages (planning),action (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting) and revision. Results showed that behavioral changes learned at each cycle. Changes in student learningbehavior, (1) attention, active learning, (2) independent in learning, (3) interacting in the classroom, (4) actively participate in learning activities, (5) a relevant answer to thequestion, (6) rapid response to environmental conditions.Keywords: cooperative learning type TGT, improving learning behavior, learning geography

Abstract

This research is intended to find The students’ achievement of creative teaching higher than conventional teaching’. The method used in this research was Quasy Experiment by using Non Equivalent Control Group desain. Experimen class and control class was taken by using random technique, selected class VIIB and VIIC SMPN 4 Natar and class VIIB is eksperimen class, class VIIC is control class . Data collecting tools were used by  documentasion, and test pretest dan postest. and the used to process the research data was SPSS version 17 The result of this research showed students’ achievement of creative teaching higher than conventional teaching’.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kreatif dengan pembelajaran konvensional. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalen control grup desain. kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dipilih  secara acak, dan terpilih kelas VIIB dan VIIC SMPN 4 Natar, dengan kelas VIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIC sebagai kelas kontrol.Pengelolahan data penelitian menggunakan SPSS versi 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kreatif  lebih tinggi dari pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci : hasil belajar siswa, meningkatkan, pembelajaran kreatif.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the supporting factors of the establisment of craft business bricks in Rajabasa Jaya subdistrict, Rajabasa district, Bandar Lampung city in 2012. This research used descriptive method. Population research amounted to 50 head of the family craftsman brick. Data retrieval was performed by using techniques of observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was using percentage as the basis of description. The results showed that : (1) the easiness in obtaining capital support for craft business bricks; (2)it is not easy to get raw materials still support for craft business bricks; (3) the easiness to meet the needs of water support for craft business bricks; (4) not easy to get a fixed fuel still support for craft business bricks; (5) the easiness of transportation support for craft business bricks; (6) the easiness of marketing support for craft business bricks.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung berdirinya usaha kerajinan batu bata di Kelurahan Rajabasa Jaya Kecamatan Rajabasa Kota Bandar Lampung Tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 50 kepala keluarga (KK) perajin usaha batu. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan persentase sebagai dasar deskripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) mudahnya mendapatkan modal mendukung untuk usaha kerajinan batu bata; (2) tidak mudahnya mendapatkan bahan mentah tetap mendukung untuk usaha kerajinan batu bata; (3) mudahnya memenuhi kebutuhan air mendukung untuk usaha kerajinan batu; (4) tidak mudahnya mendapatkan bahan bakar tetap mendukung untuk usaha kerajinan batu; (5) mudahnya sarana transportasi yang diperlukan mendukung usaha kerajinan batu bata; (6) mudahnya pemasaran mendukung untuk usaha kerajinan batu.Kata kunci: faktor pendukung, kerajinan batu bata, perajin.

Abstract

This research purpose to describe the distribution and needs of high school geography teacher in District Pringsewu that presented in map form. This research used a descriptive method. Data was collected by interview and documentation. Data analysis by using a map, calculations using formulas and data description. The results in this research are: (1) High School Geography Teacher Distribution Map Per Subdistrict in Pringsewu,distribution geography teacher is unprevalent in some subdistrict(2) Factors that affect distribution of high school geography teachers is personnel certificate of the Government,accessibilityand travelled distance, jobs vacancy (3) Relevance of educational background of high school geography teacher has relevant percentage is 85.18% (as appropriate) and 14.81% irrelevant (not appropriate) (4) Needs for high school geography teacher in District Pringsewu, there is a gap between number of teachers with a number of requirements that must be released.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikansebaran dan kebutuhan guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu yang disajikan dalam bentuk peta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yaitu dengan menggunakan peta, perhitungan menggunakan rumus dan deskripsi data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Peta Sebaran guru geografi SMA per wilayah Kecamatan di Kabupaten Pringsewu,sebaran guru geografi masih belum merata di beberapa wilayah Kecamatan (2) Faktor yang memengaruhi sebaran guru geografi SMAyaitu SK (Surat Keterangan) kepegawaian dari Pemerintah, keterjangkauandan jarak tempuh sertalowongan pekerjaanguru geografi (3) Relevansi latar belakang pendidikan guru geografi SMAmemiliki presentase yaitu 85,18% relevan (sesuai) dan 14,81% tidak relevan (tidak sesuai) (4) Kebutuhan guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu, ada kesenjangan antara jumlah guru yang ada dengan jumlah kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi.Kata kunci : kebutuhan guru, peta, sebaran guru.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate what geographic teacher constraints in providing material of Natural Disaster Mitigation are, considering this is a new material in geography subject. In this research, the main thing emphasized was the teacher constraints in mastering the material, teacher constraints in applying method and also the instructional media. This study was descriptive qualitative research. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar with geographic teacher class of XI IPS as the main subject. Data collecting technique used in this research were interview and documentation. The result of the study showed that the teacher still found difficulties in mastering the material because there was lack of others literature besides teacher and student handbook. The teacher also found difficulties in using instructional media because there was an assumption that the class would not be conducive, as well as in using media, the teacher was lack of the ability in mastering projector use as a device  to display media visually.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apa saja kendala guru Geografi dalam memberikan materi Mitigasi Bencana Alam. Mengingat materi ini merupakan materi baru dalam mata pelajaran Geografi. Dalam penelitian hal yang ditekankan yaitu kendala guru dalam  penguasaan materi, kendala guru dalam pengaplikasian metode dan juga media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskripti yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar dengan subyek utama penelitian guru Geografi kelas XI IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru masih terkendala dalam penguasaan materi karena kurangnya literature lain selain buku pegangan guru dan siswa. Guru juga masih terkendala dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran karena menganggap kelas akan jadi tidak kondusif, begitu juga dengan media guru kurang menguasai cara menggunakan proyektor sebagai alat untuk menampilkan media secara visual.Kata kunci: kendala guru, media pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of the use of the cooperative learning model in Learning Together (LT) type to the student geography learning outcomes class XI IPS at SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung in 2017. Research subject was students grade XI IPS SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung which amount 68 students were selected randomly. This study was a quasi experimental research. The data collection was done by using the documentation, observation, and testing techniques. Data analysis was done by testing the difference (t-test). The results showed that there was the influence of the use of cooperative learning model in Learning Together (LT) type to the students geography learning outcomes for class XI IPS at SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Learning Together (LT) terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung Tahun 2017. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN15 Bandar Lampung berjumlah 68 siswa yang dipilih secara random. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of the use of the Internet as a source of learning geography on student geography learning achievement in Taman Siswa High School Bandar Lampung. The research method is yaitukorelasi with quantitative approach. Data collection is questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis method used descriptive percentage, and inferential statistical analysis with product moment pearson correlation. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the use of the Internet as a source of learning geography with learning achievement. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient obtained rhitung value of 0.4937, note that rhitung larger than rtabel (0.4937 0.2609).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemanfaatan internet sebagai +sumber belajar geografi terhadap prestasi belajar geografi siswa di SMA Taman Siswa Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yaitu korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan data yaitu kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif presentase, dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan internet sebagai sumber belajar geografi dengan prestasi belajar. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh nilai rhitung sebesar 0,4937, diketahui bahwa rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel (0,4937 0.2609).Kata Kunci: pemanfaatan internet, prestasi belajar, sumber belajar

Abstract

Songket is one of the culture from Palembang. The aim of this study is to assess the perception of songket in preserving local culture in Palembang by artisans, public figure, and the society. This research used a descriptive research method with a cultural approach. Collecting data is done through interview with artisans, public figure, Muara Penimbung Ulu society, literature studies and observations of songket in Palembang. The result of this research showed that (1) the condition of climate is classified as climate D, (2) songket has been 22 motifs, (3) perception of artisans are learning songket is a tradition from one generations to the next generations, function and motif can be added as much as needed, (4) songket has changed and developed, that is public figures perceptions, (5) publics perception is motif of songket has increased continually.Kain tenun songket adalah salah satu bagian dari hasil budaya masyarakat Palembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang persepsi kerajian tenun songket dalam upaya pelestarian budaya daerah Palembang oleh pengrajin, tokoh masyarakat, dan masyarakat. Kajian penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kebudayaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pengrajin, tokoh masyarakat, dan masyarakat Desa Muara Penimbung Ulu serta studi literatur dan observasi atas songket Palembang. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keadaan iklim tergolong iklim D, (2) songket telah terdaftar ada 22 jenis motif, (3) persepsi pengrajin yaitu pembelajaran songket yang merupakan tradisi secara turun temurun, penambahan ragam fungsi dan ragam motif sangat diperlukan, (4) persepsi tokoh masyarakat yaitu songket saat ini mengalami perubahan atau perkembangan, (5) persepsi masyarakat yaitu ragam motif songket semakin bertambah.Kata kunci: budaya, palembang, songket.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the application of think pair share type cooperative learning models to the learning activities and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS in Yadika Bandar Lampung High School.  The research method used in this study is Quasi Experiment. Data collection uses test techniques to measure student learning outcomes.  Observation technique to obtain data from the teaching and learning process in class and documentation.  The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 totaling 52 students.  The results showed that: (1) there were differences in learning activities between classes using the TPS type model and those who did not.  (2) there are differences in learning outcomes between classes that use the TPS type model and those that do not.  (3) there is an influence of the use of TPS type learning models on geography learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap  aktivitas dan hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen Semu (Quasi Eksperimen). Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Teknik Observasi untuk memperoleh data dari proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 2 berjumlah  52  siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) terdapat perbedaan aktivitas belajar antara kelas yang menggunakan model tipe TPS dengan yang tidak. (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas yang menggunakan model tipe TPS  dengan yang tidak. (3) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran  tipe TPS  terhadap hasil belajar geografi.Kata kunci: aktivits, hasil belajar, pembelajaran think pair share

Abstract

This research was aimed at finding the function of Metro City park as an open public area in 2012.The method used in this research was descriptive. The population of the research was Metro City visitor. The sample was taken based on the quota sampling consists of fifty respodents both men and women. The data collecting technique which was used were observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis used the table in the form ofpercentage.The result of this research showed that (1) The most  visitors Metro City Park (58%) stated that the Metro city park had socialfunction of culture, (2)The most  visitorsof Metro City Park (58%) stated that the Metro city park had aesthetic function, (3) The most  visitors of Metro City Park (66%) stated that the Metro city park had ecological function and a mostvisitors (78%) agreed that Metro city park had recreation function.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui fungsi taman Kota Metro sebagai ruang terbuka publik tahun 2012.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengunjung taman Kota Metro. Sampel diambil berdasarkan quota sampling sebanyak 50 orang responden laki-laki dan perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah  analisis tabel dalam bentuk presentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sebanyak 58% pengunjung Taman Kota menyatakan bahwa taman Kota Metro memiliki fungsi sosial budaya. (2) sebanyak 58%  pengunjung Taman Kota menyatakan bahwa taman Kota Metro memiliki fungsi estetika. (3) sebanyak 66 % pengunjung Taman Kota menyatakan bahwa taman Kota Metro memiliki memiliki fungsi ekologis. (4) sebanyak 78 % pengunjung Taman Kota menyatakan bahwa taman Kota Metro memiliki memiliki fungsi rekreasi.Kata Kunci: fungsi, kota, metro, taman
