Abstract

In the internet of things, one of the current developments is smartphone-based water automation which makes it easier for users to control water. The working principle of this research is the water contained in the water storage tank if the water level is below 25 cm then the water pump (water input) will be active until the water is above 25 cm. Then the solenoid valve (water output) can be opened and closed via the Blynk application. When the solenoid is opened, the water in the holding tank will pass through filters 1 and 2 into the filter reservoir. The water in the filtered reservoir will measure the level of acidity and turbidity and then display it on the Blynk application. The results of this study, the water filter can reduce the level of turbidity of water by 0.568 NTU and increase the level of acidity by 0.132. The PH sensor used has an accuracy rate of 93.53%. The Turbidity sensor or turbidity has an average of 1.00 NTU in measuring clean water (Aqua).

Abstract

The Ignition on a motorcycle is an electrical system that produces sparks in the combustion chamber. If there is a mass of ferromagnetic material moving closer to the sensor, then the pulser will generate an electric current. Greater the electric current it generates. With the working principle of such a pulser, it can be used as a rotation sensor and sent to the ignition coil to produce a higher voltage which will produce sparks at the end of the spark plug electrode. The perfection of the system affects the motor work system. A good CDI condition will make it easier to increase the RPM (Rotations Per Minute) and when the spark plugs are in good condition, the motorbike's performance is getting optimal. There can be a useful tool for analyzing the damage to the CDI and the spark on the spark plug by integrating the electronic system in the motor ignition system. An electronic circuit that connects the motorcycle's ignition system through the output of the pulser circuit signal, which triggers the CDI input instead of the pulse magnet. Because the CDI and motor spark plugs are one of the main components that play an important role in the performance of the combustion motor. So that the electrical system can work without using mechanics and can be used as a tool to be able to analyze CDI damage and motor spark plug performance because CDI and spark plugs are some of the main components that play an important role in combustion motor performance. The result is that the tool can test CDI and motor spark plugs efficiently after which it can conclude the damage and can distinguish the characteristics of the CDI and the motor plugs.

Abstract

Dust Cleaning System on Panel Injection Machine BM500 PET preforms. The clean machine panel is essential so that performance and safety are maintained. Dust that sticks to electrical components such as contactors, servo drives, solid-state relays, PLCs, and several other components causes overheating. Dust attached to the conductors of electrical components will burn and become carbon which bridges the emergence of sparks. To reduce the risk of damage to electrical equipment on the injection machine, an automatic dust cleaning system is designed. This system uses a GP2Y1010AU0F dust sensor, a DHT 22 sensor to detect temperature and humidity, Arduino Uno microcontroller, 16x2 LCD, L298N driver, DC motor, fan, solenoid valve and utilizes high-pressure air to spray dust inside the panel which is then sucked in with a fan and collected in a dust bag. From the results of the trial installation of this system with 10 times of data collection for 4 hours 30 minutes with an interval of 30 minutes, it can be seen that the dust cleaning process runs 2 times. After the cleaning process is running the data shows that the dust density can drop to 0.16 mg/m³. Likewise, the temperature inside the engine panel, after the air circulation process runs well in the first or second conditions, the temperature inside the panel can drop below 40°C. From the test results, it can be seen that the system can work well.
