Abstract

The development of science and technology is very fast in the era of globalization. This development also affects cultural education in the formation of character education for students, we can face and see many incidents involving students that can affect the morals and character of teenagers themselves and also damage the atmosphere around them. From this discussion of school culture, we can find meaning which is very influential in development and also provides learning to all school residents, especially to students. This study aims to determine how the influence of school culture can help school units in shaping student character, especially in SMA Muhammadiyah Pakem and it is also hoped that all students can follow and implement school culture so that they can form a good soul both spiritually and physically. This research uses a case study method, we can conclude that school culture has an effect on character building at SMA Muhammadiyah Pakem, and can have a positive impact on the continuity of life in the school environment and also the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to implement multiculturalism in an Islamic religious education and is oriented to strategies and opportunities. The method used is a qualitative approach with literature searches and various insights and developments. This type of research is qualitative, namely by conducting various literature searches and various insights and developments. The use of this qualitative method is because in this study it is to reveal and understand something about the implementation of religious education through a multicultural approach with strategies and opportunities. Important strategies and opportunities are a concern so that the implementation of Islamic religious education through a multicultural approach can run well. The role of strategy and opportunity is also very important, namely in order to be able to manage a system as a whole by maximizing the existing potential and actions to be taken in implementing Islamic religious education using a multicultural approach.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal students in achieving learning achievements that can be seen through the results of daily tests, Mid Test, and Final Test Semester, besides that there are problems in learning achievement which include a negative understanding of themselves, so that these students are not sure of their potential. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and ISMUBA learning achievement of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Bangunjiwo. This research method uses quantitative methods. Data collection uses useful documentation to obtain report card data for class XI and XII of the first and second semesters and the scale used is the Emotional Intelligence Scale. This study used product moment analysis techniques using the help of IBM 27 for Windows. The results of the product moment analysis showed a significant result of 0.001 (p < 0.01) meaning that there was a very significant relationship between emotional intelligence and ismuba learning achievement of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Bangunjiwo. So it can be interpreted that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted.
