Abstract

The comprehension of learning sciences (IPA) connected type in senior high school (SLTP) 21 Surabayapurposes to describing as follows: (1) The activities of teacher and students, (2) The abilities of teacher onlearning management, (3) Students Respons to learning proses, (4) Evaluation student Result after attendinglearning Process (KBM) IPA type connected. Data observation had been done during 5-19 May 2001. Theresearch result showed teather activities in KBM increasing significantly, Student respons to KBM wasinterested in continuing the lessons. The proportion of answer-question is right encrising from 0.23 to 0.92.The conclusion of research is connected type.

Abstract

The study aims to develop POE-based learning resources in the form of modules for senior high school chemistry on the solution colligative properties subject. The research method used is development research. Development research used 4-D model which are carried out in four stage: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. In the research only on the stage of development. The developed POE-based learning source prototype was validated by 4 validators, 2 people as experts and 2 people as users. The research data was obtained through a validation sheet filled by the validator. The results of the assessment of the four validators in each aspect assessed by the category are very good.The conclusion shows that the POE-based modules produced for senior high school chemistry learning on solution colligative properties are valid in terms of content and construction.

Abstract

This study was conducted in an effort to improve learning outcomes and learning motivation. The population in this study were students of Chemistry Education, University of Riau. The Samples of this research is fifth semester students. Class experiments using problem-based e-learning model, while the control class using classical learning. To test research hypothesis on difference learning motivation and improved learning outcomes using independent sample T-test SPSS-20. To Test research hypothesis on Correlations between students motivation in learning and learning outcomes using Correlations SPSS-20. The result showed that : 1) there was a significant difference in motivation and learning outcomes of students who are taught using a problem-based e-learning model, than students who are taught using classical learning; 2) there was no correlation learning motivation and learning outcomes of students who are taught by classical learning; 3) there was correlation between motivation to learn the results of student learning is taught by Problem-Based E-Learning Model.
