Abstract

Industri konstruksi telah mendapat banyak kritikan karena performanya yang buruk, kondisi di Indonesia sendiri, pemborosan yang terjadi di perusahaan  konstruksi  adalah sekitar 57% dan hanya 10% dari seluruh kegiatan yang memberikan nilai tambah. Performa buruk ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh banyaknya pemborosan yang terus terjadi.Untuk dapat mengurangi pemborosan yang terjadi, maka sebelumnya harus dilakukan identifikasi terhadap pemborosan-pemborosan tersebut. Konsep pemborosan yang terdiri atas transportasi, persediaan (inventory), pergerakan (motion), penundaan (waiting), produksi berlebih (over production), proses berlebih (over processing), cacat produksi (defects) dan pemborosan keahlian (Skill misused). Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembuatan sebuah alat bantu untuk melakukan identifikasi terhadap pemborosan-pemborosan yang terjadi di lapangan, khususnya yang terjadi di wilayah Surabaya dan sekitarnya. Setelah pemborosan yang terjadi diidentifikasi, berikutnya akan dilakukan suatu penilaian.Proses yang paling sederhana adalah dengan melakukan Self Assessment atau penilaian sendiri. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan dilakukan menggunakan matrix chart karena implementasinya yang mudah dan tidak memerlukan waktu panjang. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa tabel yang dapat diisi sendiri oleh responden.

Abstract

The slowing of economic growth in Indonesia could cause financial distress for companies in property, construction and real estate sectors as these companies has enormous amount of GDP contributions in Indonesia. These difficulties are related to companies being able to accomplish all its responsibilities in short nor long terms. In assessing financial status of a company, discriminant analysis could be of use to see financial ratio such as liquidity ratio, profitability, activity and solvability. This research consists of comparative and sample pulling technique towards 81 population in multiple sectors such as property, construction and real estate. Data collection method by documentation. Discriminant analysis results depicts that liquidity ratio(CA/CL), profitability (EBIT/TA and NI/SALES), activity (SALES/TA), and solvability (BV/TL and TL/EQUITY) could be used to distinguish which company are experiencing financial distress and which are not.
