This study aims to analyze the effect of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) and ironwood (Eusideroxylon zwageri) on the physical-chemical properties of charcoal briquettes, in the form of moisture content, density, ash content, flying substances, bonded carbon, and calorific value, and determine the value which meets the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The average density value is 0.82-0.87%, moisture content is 0.19-0.31%, ash content is 0.56-20.02%, flying substance is 45.58-60.65%, calorific value is 2341, 57-4917.46 cal˚C and bonded carbon 33.99-41.90. Values that meet SNI are found in water content and ash content in treatment D = 25% water hyacinth + 75% ironwood (4.61%) and in treatment E = 100% ironwood (0.56%). The treatment has a very significant effect on the ash content, flying matter, heating value and bound carbon. Perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata terdapat pada kadar abu, zat terbang, nilai kalor dan karbon terikat. Nilai yang tidak memenuhi SNI adalah kerapatan, zat terbang, nilai kalor, dan karbon terikat
