Abstract

The number of industry in Indonesia continues to increase along with the increase in population. The increase in the construction industry will have a positive impact as increasing social and economic life of society. However, the negative impact is the increasing environmental pollution such as air pollution, water pollution and soil. One of the causes of water pollution industrial waste discharged into water bodies without treatment beforehand. Various attempts have been made by the government for the supervision and control of water pollution by issuing laws and regulations, permit to dispose of liquid waste and Proper Program. Nevertheless, there are still companies and industries that discharge wastewater does not meet the requirements is allowed. One effort in monitoring, particularly in the waste disposal industry by applying online monitoring in real-time at the outlet WWTP Industry. This technology is expected to real-time monitoring can be done by government agencies (Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Regional Environmental Agency) and can send an early warning when there is pollution. This monitoring system generally consists of sensors, data loggers, data communications and data centers. Sensor data from industrial wastewater outlet will be sent to the data center continuously, then the data will be stored and processed by database system and then displayed on Internet. Keyword : industrial wastewater pollution, online monitoring, wastewater quality, WWTP

Abstract

Fish processing industries in Muncar-Banyuwangi have increased the welfare of the people there and made this area known as the major fish producer in Indonesia. More than 50% of its production has been exported to many countries and the rest has fulfilled domestic need. Although fish processing industry has developed quickly, its industrial pollution effect hasn’t been handled well so that it polluted the surrounding envionment especially water surface. It happened because of using water for industrial need reached 17.883,2 m3 /day and almost all industries haven’t provided a good wastewater installalion so that the environment couldn’t handle and neutrilize the wastes. Abstract

Kabupaten Trenggalek, Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan daerah yamg memiliki potensi kekayaan tambang yang tersebar di beberapa lokasi yang belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Menurut data Dinas Koperasi, Industri, Perdagangan, Pertambangan dan Energi Kabupaten Trenggalek menunjukkan bahwa daerah di Kecamatan Gandusari mempunyai potensi tambang mangan sekitar 1,03 juta ton. Desa Melis merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Trenggalek, di desa ini sumber air penduduk mengandung mangan (Mn) cukup tinggi. Mengkonsumsi air yang mengandung mangan tinggi dapat mengganggu kesehatan. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan kadar mangan tinggi dalam air adalah melakukan pengolahan air terlebih dahulu sebelum dikonsumsi, untuk itu Pusat Teknologi Lingkungan BPPT telah membangun pilot plan teknologi pengolahan air siap minum (Arsinum) di Pondok Pesantren Ummul Quro, Desa Melis, Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Proses pengolahan air siap minum ini dapat mengurangi kadar mangan dan memenuhi persyaratan kualitas air minum yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan RI Nomor 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. Kata kunci : Sumber air, mangan, pengolahan air siap minum (Arsinum)

Abstract

Jakarta city has 13 rivers one of which is Ciliwung river. It flows across the city amid a lot of dense housing, slums and villages. As a result the river is experiencing the most severe pollution compared to other rivers that flow in Jakarta. To find out how much pollution in the Ciliwung river, this paper will discuss several pollutant parameters such as, BOD, COD, ammonia, phosphates, detergent and coli bacteria. Overall, that the concentrations of these parameters continue to increase annually, this causing pollution in the Ciliwung river higher. Keywords : Ciliwung rivers, water pollution from domestic wastewater, river water quality, organic parameters, ammonia, phosphates, detergent and coli bacteria.

Abstract

Coastal region is very potential area for developing in  sectors of fish, low and middle business from domestic industrial such as: food and husbandary food, fish net and shipping, services, trasnportation and travel. Concerning to high conomical potency in this coastal area is expected to be supporting area for central activities.  For this supporting in public facility  require elictricity, road and sea transportation, telecommunication, housing, health and the important is water supply.  In providing water supply infrastructure is needed good planning so that the result outcomes in right purpose and  beneficial for certain community. One of the supporting  in planning is to know social-economical condition of this community. This paper will show in general the result of coastal community social economy in Local Government, Pasir, East Kalimantan.  Kata kunci : Masyarakat nelayan, perencanaan penyediaan air bersih, kondisi sosial-ekonomi penduduk pesisir.

Abstract

In order to support the Government Regulation Number 42 of 2008 on the sustainable management of water resources, it is one of the responsibilities of government and the local government to carry out the management of water resources information system. Kabupaten Pandeglang is one area in Indonesia with the availability of water resources is quite large, so as to support the management of water resources need to built Database Information System for Water Resources Management (SISDA). SISDA is an application program based database created to facilitate the data management of water resources. This program has been applied in the Office Bappeda Pandeglang and information shown include the River Basin Unit (SWS), the Regional Jetting River (DPS), Creeks, Lakes, Swamps, Beaches, Ponds, Dams, Irrigation, Water Monitoring Station, Rain Station, and other information. Keywords : Water resource of Kabupaten Pandeglang, database, Information System for Water Resources Management.

Abstract

River is a place where people do their cleaning activities and one of drinking water source and also where we could find fish. But nowadays river condition in Jakarta  area are seriously polluted. The reasons of water pollution are not only domestic waste but also from industrial waste, factories take out their waste to the river without proccessing it first. One of the pollution materials is heavy metal which could have bad effect on human body. Abstract

Muncar region known as the area of the fish and the fish processing industry. Many of the fish processing industries in large scale, small scale and household at this time growing so rapidly. With the rapid growth of the fish processing industry in the Muncar city has provided a very significant impact on the city growth, which eventually brought the various impacts, whether they are positive or negative. One of the negative impact of processing industry growth in Muncar is environmental of pollution is the discharge of liquid waste from industrial fish-processing industry. Low level of understanding IPAL waste management system and cause difficulties to manage the waste, therefore almostall waste that generated in the region immediately removed to the public channels. Waste disposal without treatment is causing high level of environmental pollution in the vicinity of the location of industry. One effort to solve the problem of waste-processing technology is determine processingof waste water and fish processing, it has been done to test prototype installation processing waste water in one of the fish processing industry in the Muncar District. Key words : fish processing industry waste water, environmetal pollution, waste water processing prototype.

Abstract

Sungai Ciliwung merupakan sungai yang mengalir melalui tengah kota Jakarta dan melintasi banyak perumahan dan perkampungan padat. Hal ini menyebabkan kondisi sungai Ciliwung menjadi tercemar berat baik dari limbah cair maupun limbah padat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air dan beban pencemaran air yang ada di sungai Ciliwung serta untuk menentukan titik lokasi pemasangan stasiun online monitoring kualitas air. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah melakukan analisis terhadap hasil sampel kualitas air yang diambil dari beberapa titik di sungai Ciliwung.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi pencemaran berat di beberapa lokasi di sungai Ciliwung khususnya daerah yang menuju hilir sungai Ciliwung.Selain itu dari hasil analisis telah ditentukan 8 (delapan) titik lokasi rencana penempatan unit online monitoring kualitas air, karena keterbatasan dana saat ini baru ditempatkan 3 (tiga) unit online monitoring di lokasi mewakili hulu, tengah dan hilir di sepanjang sungai Ciliwung.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah industri dan perkantoran yang pesat saat ini mengakibatkan kebutuhan dan pemakaian air yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Pemerintah pun berupaya sekuat tenaga untuk mengurangi konsumsi air di lingkungan gedung dan perkantoran pemerintahan, salah satunya dengan mengeluarkan Instruksi Presiden (Inpres) Nomor 13 Tahun 2011. Instruksi presiden itu diterbitkan untuk memberikan panutan dari aparatur pemerintahan kepada masyarakat dan upaya mengubah perilaku boros dan jauh dari prinsip efisiensi pada pemakaian energi dan air.   Tujuan dari penulisan paper ini adalah melakukan identifikasi upaya-upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan penghematan air di gedung perkantoran. Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT) sebagai Lembaga Pemerintah Non Kementerian telah berusaha melaksanakan Inpres tersebut dengan melakukan beberapa upaya untuk menghemat air. Faktor yang paling penting dari upaya tersebut adalah komitmen dari top manajemen untuk mendukung secara penuh pada gerakan penghematan air. Melalui gerakan ini, BPPT telah melakukan penurunan pemakaian air (38,13%) yang signifikan dan telah memperoleh pengakuan sebagai gedung yang hemat energi dan air dalam lomba Penghargaan Efisensi Energi Nasional yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral.
