Abstract

One of active area in information technology research is development of virtual reality (VR). It is a technology which can simulate real world activities in a virtual world. Virtual reality consists of software and hardware which is usually in the form of device that captures human movement. Then VR sends signal of that movement to computer. The signal will be received and processed and shown on the screen, so that the movement can be simulated. In this research, we develop an application that can receive hand movement input with 5DT Data Glove 5 Ultra and create natural and accurate hand movement animation output for hand opening closing and other gestures. Experiments show that there are some gestures though have different physical shapes but are recognized as the same gestures because of sensor limitation in data glove.   Keywords: data glove, animation, virtual reality

Abstract

Rapidly increasing techonological development, especially in smartphone. In this time smartphone is a very popular device in all kinds of people from the young to the old. The same thing happened in education, especially in the study of foreign language. This thesis aims to combine the methods of learning foreign language with technology that can be reached by any ages and imporove the method of learning foreign language especially Japanese.This application is focused to leard the basic of Japanese language, which is Hiragana and Katakana. This application created for Android operating system by utilizing swipe feature that has been filtered to detect user input for the correct writing. Beside that, this application has games that can test and evaluate the ability of user.Based on testing of this application that can be concluded this application can run smoothly on Android JellyBean system until Lollipop.

Abstract

UD. X, a car batteries trading business in Surabaya, is using manual accounting system. This old applied system can’t provide any accurate financial report for owner. Furthermore, it has caused many human errors, inaccurate calculation, and irrelevant data service. As a solution, the company needs a computer based accounting system. The first step in creating a good accounting information system is to analyze and observe company working system. This new accounting information system needs to build an integrated modules of sales, purchases, and accounting. The new information system was build using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server as database. The result obtained from the system are master recording, purchase and sale transaction recording,  stock report, purchase report, sales report, general ledger, and financial statement such as income statement and balance sheet.

Abstract

PT. X is a company which engaged in distribution and sea lane expedition since 2005. The products that distributed by PT. X are cement and fertilizer subvention. In support of the business process, marketing department of PT. X doesn’t have yet any information system, so that marketing department is using outsource service to support its business process.Marketing department of PT. X needs analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system. Enterprise Architecture Planning is used for the framework. First step of analysis and design of enterprise architecture is analysis of business model and company business strategic. The next step is analysis of recent information technology, understanding the IT problems, and the needs of new IT for the future. After that creating data architecture design and application architecture design based from data and information which obtained from the company. The results of analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system is data architecture report and application portfolio which useful to support business process and information technology improvement for marketing department for PT. X.

Abstract

UD.Kusuma Tirta is a company which focused in printing. The company received an order to print receipts, forms, books, brochures, letterhead, business cards, etc. The company has 50-100 transactions in a month, it’s difficult for the company to process the transaction data.Seeing the problems that occur, the solution can be proposed is an accounting information system applications and price calculator to help resolve problems that occur. Application price calculator will help in determining the printing costs. Accounting information system will help company in process transaction data and generate financial reports for the company. This application is made using PHP and use MySQL database.The results to be obtained from applications that have been made is profit income, balance sheet, management report (account payable report, account receiveable report, etc).

Abstract

The development of information technology has created new business opportunities. One of them is online buying and selling. Online buying and selling activities also begin to diverse, besides direct selling where buyer pays the price of goods that specified by the seller, the auction system where prospective buyers are competing against each other to give the highest bid for the items auctioned within a certain period is starting to emerge. but a growing number of online buying and selling activities also provide opportunities for sellers and prospective buyers to cheat and create violations in online buying and selling activities.The creation of this E-commerce and E-auction Website can help sellers sell their goods and make it easy for prospective buyers to search and buy desired goods. In this website, sellers are also able to sell goods with auction system. To prevent violations, there is a deposit system for auction bidders and escrow system where the website administrator acting as a third party for payment intermediary. This website is developed with PHP, HTML, and javascript programming language. Database used is MySql. The code is written using brackets.The creation of product category taxonomy is done by reviewing product category taxonomies of several similar websites and combined based on questionnaire result. Checking and closing of auctions done by creating script which run automatically and scheduled with windows scheduler. This this E-commerce and E-auction Website provides place for online selling and buying activities with direct selling system and auction system. This website also provide escrow service for payment which can improve transaction security.

Abstract

The concept of Internet of Things (IoT) where an inanimate object connects to internet network, made this technology concept very popular nowadays. Supported by famous technologies such as Arduino and Android, which makes combination of these three things able to give added benefits to the users. Application of these three, in the scope of vending machine is very appropriate given that there is a big market opportunity for vending machine especially in Indonesia. With those in mind, an idea to make an integrated vending system that consist of vending machines where its management and purchasing application resides within an Android application is created. This system, intended to give users such as managerials and customers a benefits and ease of use.Vending system is designed as is using Android programming, Arduino programming and server configuration so that it can meet the needs of a system that integrated on to another in the scope of IOT concept. The testing process of this system is managed through the functions of product, user, vending machine and promo data management so that the vending machine can runs as desired.The outcome of the combination of this IOT concept, Arduino Android technology and MySQL server is an interconnected system through internet network that consist of 3 parts. The first part is a server which acts like an intermediary medium between the other 2 parts. The second part is the physical vending machine that based on the Arduino technology. The last part is the management and purchasing application that based on the Android mobile technology.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing very rapidly. One of which is how to use messenger application on mobile device. Nowadays, messenger is one of the applications that are used to communicate by most people. This thesis aims to create a messenger application that can communicate between mobile devices especially devices with the Android operating system.In the design and implementation of this application, there is a server side comprising: Openfire server that serves as a protocol in the exchange of messages and the Apache server that serves to accommodate the user data. As well as the client side comprising: user interface display applications. This application provides features such as login, registration, chat, create groups and invite friends or group.From the results of tests on various Android devices with different versions and brands like LG G4 , LG G2 , Samsung Galaxy S2 ,Sony Xperia SP and  Sony Xperia Z3 Compact the application run well on all devices. But for the view, the position of the layout as TextView , ImageView , videoview and also listview do not go well because of using density pixel (DP) so the size of each display device which has different pixel per inch (PPI)  will show different results.In addition on the device Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2 version  popup menu button located on the menu friends is not found.

Abstract

Nowadays application for storing images and videos have been very easy to find. Videos and images can be found on social media appplications. However, images and videos are not too restricted to be submitted by member in social media applications. It makes the user rather difficult to find videos or images that are inspiring. In general, inspiration media application only for showing videos or images. Besides that, there are applications that can only be accessed on the website or Android. Inspiration media application that already exist can be only inserted by admin so that the user can not upload video or image that the user want.MPV (Motivation Photo and Video) application made for help the user to find application that only have inspiration content more easy. That is because this application only save video or image with these categories such as motivation, work, relation, spiritual, and health. This application gives permission for member to upload video and image that the user want. Member can make quote as they want. Videos or images on application can be shared to others by Facebook. This application also can send notification to member.Based on the test result, the conclusion is this application that made on Android can run well on Android version 4.4 (Kitkat) to Android version 5.0 (Lollipop). This application also can upload video, upload image, send notification to member about the latest video or image, share image and video on Facebook and make a personal quote.

Abstract

Odoo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system storing company’s transaction data. However, Odoo doesnt have a module for managing data. It takes a module for managing data into useful information.Based on the above problems, a module for data mining Market Basket Analysis is being designed. This module uses FP-Growth algorithm by utilizing the sales transaction data.For the testing, this module using data from X Supermarket. The final result of this module is an association rule from data mining process. The rule is shown in the form of narrative and graphics making them easier to understand
