Abstract

Background: Universal Precaution is common caution which is nursing must be obeyed by nurse or medical labor in doing every nursing action towards the patient to protect from some of infection material. The nurses knowledge about the universal precaution is needed to be high on guard towards spreading disease. This research purposes to know the relation between nurses knowledge in application universal precaution in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital. Method: This was an observational analytic with research using cross sectional approach. The population in this research is the nurse in patient II and III classes amounted to 34 nurses. The sample taken by total sampling technique is number of 34 nurses. The data of research is taken by observation and spreading question and processed by using the chi square test. Result: The degree of nurses knowledge in hospital categorize high amounted to be 26 nurses by percentage of 76,47 %. (1) the degree of nurses knowledge in application wash hand to the nurse categorize good amounted by percentage of 79,41%, gotten the score p= 0,019, it means that there is a significant relation between the degree of nurses knowledge with the application of wash hand to the nurse in hospitalized ward of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital (2) the degree of nurses knowledge with application of antiseptic use and the disinfectant to the nurse categorize good amounted by percentage of 82,35%, gotten the score p= 0,006, it means that there is a significant relation between the degree of nurses knowledge with the application of antiseptic use and the disinfectant to the nurse in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital. (3) The degree of nurses knowledge with the application the use of self protector to the nurse categorize good amounted by percentage of 85,29%, gotten the score p= 0,037, means that there is a significant relation between the degree of nurses knowledge with application of self protector use to the nurse in the PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital. (4) the degree of nurses knowledge with the application the discharge of medical rubbish to the nurse categorize good amounted by percentage of 85,29%, gotten the score p= 0,001, means there is a significant relation between the degree of nurses knowledge with the application of medical rubbish discharge to the nurse in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the degree of nurses knowledge with application universal precaution to the nurse in patient in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran advance organizer tipe comparative dan model pembelajaran konvensional serta besarnya pengaruh penerapan model advance organizer terhadap hasil belajar. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel tersebut adalah  XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent pretest-posstest group control design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu tes, lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh sig<0,05 (0,039<0,05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model advance organizer tipe comparative dengan menggunakan model konvensional pada materi larutan penyangga kelas XI IPA  SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. Perhitungan effect size dengan model ini memberikan pengaruh sebesar 14,43 % dalam peningkatan hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: advance organizer tipe comparative, hasil belajar, larutan penyangga Abstract: This research were aimed to determine the differences in test result among students taught using comparative type of advance organizer  model and conventional model and to determine the effect of  comparative type of advance organizer model toward test result. Samples were taken by means of cluster random sampling. They were  XI IPA 1 as control class and  XI IPA 2 as eksperimental class. Nonequivalent pretest posttest group control design was applied as form research. Test, observation sheet, and guidlines interview were used to collect data. U-Mann Whitney test showed sig<0.05 (0.039<0.05) could conclusion there’s a difference in test result between  students taught using comparative type of advance organizer model and conventional model on buffer solution materials in XI IPA class of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak.  Result of calculation of effect size was 14.43% in increasing test result. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi strategis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi program linier di SMK-SMTI Pontianak.  Metode deskriptif dengan bentuk studi kasus digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI F. Tes kompetensi strategis dan wawancara pada materi program linier merupakan alat untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil tes kompetensi strategis dan wawancara dianalisis berdasarkan tiga indikator kompetensi strategis, yaitu kemampuan merumuskan masalah, kemampuan menyajikan masalah, dan kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi strategis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi program linier termasuk dalam kategori tidak mampu. Dari 28 siswa yang diberikan tes kompetensi strategis hanya 4 siswa yang mampu memenuhi tiga indikator, 5 siswa hanya mampu memenuhi dua indikator, 4 siswa hanya mampu memenuhi satu indikator, dan 15 siswa lainnya tidak mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator dari soal yang diberikan. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Strategis, Menyelesaikan soal cerita Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the strategic competence of students in solving the story problem on linear program at SMK-SMTI Pontianak. Descriptive methods with case study forms are used to achieve the objectives. The subjects of the study were students of class F of eleventh grade. The tools for collecting data are strategic competence test, and interviews on linear program. The results of strategic competence test and interviews are analyzed based on three strategic competency indicators, namely students ability to formulate problems, present problems, and solve math problems. The result of data analysis shows that the students' strategic competence in solving the story problem in the linear program is included in the category of incapable. From 28 students who were given strategic competency test, only 4 students were able to meet three indicators, 5 students were able to meet only two indicators, 4 students were able to meet only one indicator, and 15 students were unable to meet any indicators of the given problem. Keywords: Strategic Competence, Solving the story problem Â
