Abstract

Senyawa kalkon adalah salah satu senyawa metabolit sekunder yang banyak ditemukan di alam dengan berbagai macam aktivitas biologis diantaranya sebagai antioksidan, antikanker, antiinflamasi, sitosoksik, antivirus serta antibakteri. Mekanisme antibakteri senyawa turunan kalkon berbasis 4-asetil terhadap bakteri Bacillus subtilis dan Escherichia coli dipejari melalui metode docking. Senyawa kalkon 3-(3-metoksi-4-hidroksifenil)-1-(piridin-4-il)-prop-2-en-1-on, 3-(4-hidroksifenil)-1-(piridin-4-il)-prop-2-en-1-on, 3-(4–metoksifenil)-1-(piridin-4-il)-prop-2-en-1-on menunjukkan aktivitas antibakteri yang baik dengan berikatan kompleks terhadap asam amino pada bakteri Bacillus subtilis pada Arg A389, Asp A164, Ser A299, Tyr A149, REZ C500, Asn A301, dan Asn A397, sedangkan pada bakteri Escherichia coli pada Leu 140 dan Gln 170..

Abstract

Chalcone is one of secondary metabolites included into the class of flavonoid. Chalcone can be obtained from isolation plant and have various biological activities. Chalcones are known as the key intermediate in the synthesis of various biologically important heterocyclic compounds. The aims of these research was to syntheses 2?,4?-dichloro-4-methoxychalcone. by Claisen?Schmidt condensation. These compound was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and mass spectroscopy. LC50 value of these compound was 864,97 ppm

Abstract

In an effort to find new sources of medicinal plants as antimalarials based on ethnobotany knowledge from generation to generation. Therefore, tested the inhibition of heme polymerization from 70% ethanol extract of papaya leaves (Carica papaya) and Guava (Psidium guajava) leaves. The data obtained were calculated by IC50 using SPSS 22 obtained that 70% ethanol extract of Pepaya leaves (Carica papaya) and Jambu Biji leaves (Psidium guajava) had antimalarial activities of 7,914 and 8,794 mg/ml respectively and their had the potential to be developed in more research further as antimalarial.

Abstract

Ficus variegata Blume is specific plant of east Kalimantan. Flavonoid compound of Ficus variegata Blume was isolated by vacuum liquid and column chromatography, with previously extracted by maceration method using n-hexane and methanol, and fractination using ethyl acetate solvent. Eluent used in isolation were n-hexane:ethyl acetate (8:2). The results of elucidation structure by using spectroscopy methods (GC-MS, NMR, and FTIR) was obtained 5-Hidroxy-2-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-8,8-dymethyl-8H-pyrano[2,3-f] chromen-4-one. This compound has an antibacterial and antioxidant activities.

Abstract

Kalkon is a secondary metabolite of the flavonoid group that is found in nature, especially in plants. Kalkon has various activities such as cytotoxic, antiviral, anesthetic, antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, and so forth. The aim of this research is to know the antibacterial activity of kacco-based derived paracetamol compound by using docking method against bacterial protein Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis. The results showed that the compound 3- (4-Metoxyphenyl) -N- (4-Chlorophenyl) Acrylamide, 3- (4-Hydroxyphenyl) -N- (4-Chlorophenyl) Acrylamide, and 3- (4-Hydroxy-3-Methoxyphenyl ) -N- (4-Chlorophenyl) Acrylamide showed good activity with an average rmsd-refine score <2. The kalkon derivative binds complex with amino acid bacteria such as Ile 173, Asn 267, Lys A449, Thr 265, and Arg A389.

Abstract

Crassocephalum crepidioides (sintrong) plant has secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, steroids, and tannins which are thought to have antioxidant and sunscreen activities. Antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract of the leaves and flowers of Sintrong was measured using Uv-Vis spectrophotometry obtained IC50 values of 23.558 ppm (flowers) and 0.62 ppm (leaves), and categories as very strong antioxidants. Based on %Te and %Tp values, ethanol extract of sintrong leaves was categories as sunblock, while ethanol extract of flowers of sintrong was categories as Fast Tanning (for %Te) and for %Tp was categories as suntan standard (for 200-300 ppm) and Extra Protection (for 400-600 ppm). The SPF of the ethanol extract of the leaves and flowers of sintrong is categories as minimal protection.

Abstract

Aurivillius oxides Sr2Bi4Ti5-xFexO18 have been synthesized using the solid state reaction method. Powder X-ray diffraction data were refined using Le Bail method implemented in Rietica have space group B2cb, Z = 4, and parameter cell are a = 5.542(8), b = 5.474(9), c = 48.947(1); a = 5.565(5), b = 5.491(9), c = 49,097(1); a = 5.533(7), b = 5.464(7), c = 48.595(2) and a = 5.621(1), b = 5.492(9), c = 49.78(4); respectively for x = 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1. The substitution of cation Fe3+ in these Aurivillius oxides was showed increasing of magnetic moment are μ = 2.67, 3.21, 3.98, and 4.62 for x = 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1 respectively. Data difraksi sinar-x serbuk yang penghalusan strukturnya menggunakan metode rietveld dengan program rietica menunjukkan bahwa oksida ini memiliki grup ruang B2cb, Z = 4, dan parameter selnya adalah a = 5,542(8), b = 5,474(9), c = 48,947(1); a = 5,565(5), b = 5,491(9), c = 49,097(1); a = 5,533(7), b = 5,464(7), c = 48,595(2) dan a = 5,621(1), b = 5,492(9), c = 49,78(4); berturut-turut untuk x = 0.25; 0,5; 0,75; dan 1. Substitusi kation Fe3+ pada oksida Aurivillius ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan momen magnet oksida ini yaitu μ = 2,67; 3,21; 3,98; dan 4,62 berturut-turut untuk x = 0,25; 0,5; 0,75; dan 1. Abstract

Research about Levels of ash analysis in Nipa Fruit (Nypa fructicans) Kaliwanggu Kendari Gulf South East Sulawesi have been done. Research carried out by gravimetric method and AAS. The ash content of old nipa fruit at a temperature 450°C dan 550°C obtained amounted to 1.01% and 0.89%. while the young nipa fruits obtained ash content of 0.88% and 0.86% at450°C dan 550°C. Mineral content of old nipa fruit which had become ash at a temperature of 450°C obtained at 1.3769 ppm, 7.9167 ppm, 3.7876 ppm, 9.2365 ppm, respectively for Fe, Mg, K, and Na. On the other hand, at a temperature of 550°C obtained at 1.1153 ppm, 8.0127 ppm, 3.7990 ppm and 9.3634 ppm, respectively for Fe, Mg, K, and Na. On young fruit nipah obtained concentration of 0.8769 ppm, 7.9939 ppm, 3.8260 ppm, 9.4041 ppm, respectively for Fe, Mg, K, and Na at ash temperature 450°C. Meanwhile, at a ash temperature of 550°C obtained concentration of 0.9230 ppm, 7.9738 ppm, 3.7468 ppm and 9.3861 ppm, respectively for Fe, Mg, K, and Na. The water content obtained from the old and young nipa flesh fruit obtained at 41.86% and 33.49%, respectively. Key words: Level of mineral analysis, Nypa fructicans, Gravimetric, AAS ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan judul “Analisis Kadar dalam Abu Buah Nipa (Nypa fructicans)” Kaliwanggu Teluk Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode gravimetri dan AAS. Kadar abu buah nipa tua pada suhu 450°C dan 550°C diperoleh sebesar 1,01% dan 0,89%, sedangkan pada buah nipa muda diperoleh kadar abu sebesar 0,88% dan 0,86% berurut-turut untuk suhu 450°C dan 550°C. Kadar mineral buah nipa tua yang diabukan pada suhu 450°C diperoleh sebesar 1,3769 ppm, 7,9167 ppm, 3,7876 ppm, 9,2365 ppm, berturut-turut untuk Fe, Mg, K, dan Na. Sedangkan pada suhu 550°C diperoleh sebesar 1,1153 ppm, 8,0127 ppm, 3,7990 ppm, dan 9,3634 ppm, berturut-turut untuk Fe, Mg, K, dan Na. Pada buah nipa muda diperoleh kadar sebesar 0,8769 ppm, 7,9939 ppm, 3,8260 ppm, 9,4041 ppm, berturut-turut untuk Fe, Mg, K, dan Na pada suhu pengabuan 450°C. Sedangkan pada suhu pengabuan 550°C diperoleh kadar sebesar 0,9230 ppm, 7,9738 ppm, 3,7468 ppm, dan 9,3861 ppm, berturut-turut untuk Fe, Mg, K, dan Na. Adapun kadar air yang diperoleh dari daging buah nipa tua dan muda diperoleh sebesar 41,86% dan 33,49%. Kata kunci: Analisis kadar mineral, Nypa fructicans, Gravimetri, AAS

Abstract

Nipa is one of the vegetation mangroves in Southeast Sulawesi that optimal utilization by people in this region is not optimal because less of information. Attempt to provide information of oil component has done research with the title “Identification of Functional Group of Oil from Nipa Fruit (Nypa fructicans) at Kaliwanggu, Kendari Bay, Southeast Sulawesi”. Research was using the extraction technique, trans-esterification reactions, and FTIR measurements. The extracted oil is having characteristic aromatic, colourless, and volatile. The Oil content was obtain 13.72%, 10.57%, 7.73%, and 3.62% for oil from fiber seed fruit, fruit pulp, fruit cob, and epidermis seed fruit, respectively. The interpretation of FTIR spectrum was obtain vibrations of methylene (CH2) which overlap with vibration of the cis-alkene bond (cis-HC = CH), stretching vibration of ester group (C-O), bending vibrations of C-H, stretching vibration of ester group (C = O), and hydroxyl group (OH). Keywords: Nipa, oil, extraction, trans-esterification, FTIR ABSTRAK Nipa adalah salah satu vegetasi magrove di Sulawesi Tenggara yang pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat belum optimal karena kurangnya informasi mengenai hal tersebut. Untuk memberikan informasi komponen minyak dilakukan penelitian dengan judul “Identifikasi Gugus Fungsi Minyak Buah Nipa (Nypa fructicans) Kaliwanggu Teluk Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara”. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan ekstraksi dan reaksi trans-esterifikasi serta pengukuran FTIR. Minyak yang diekstraksi memiliki karakteristik berbau harum dan tidak berwarna (bening) serta mudah menguap (volatil). Kadar minyak diperoleh berturut-turut sebesar 13,72%, 10,57%, 7,73%, dan 3,62% untuk minyak dari bagian sabut, daging buah, tongkol buah, dan kulit ari daging buah nipa. Hasil interpretasi spektrum FTIR diperoleh gugus fungsi yaitu gugus vibrasi gugus methylene (CH2) yang overlap dengan vibrasi ikatan dari cis-alkena (cis-HC=CH), vibrasi ulur gugus (C-O) pada ester, vibrasi tekuk gugus C-H, vibrasi ulur gugus (C=O) dari ester, dan gugus hidroksil (OH). Abstract

Has been studied composition of mountain salt from Krayan, Nunukan, East Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the composition of the minerals contained in the mountain salt. Mountain salt is obtained from wells Krayan District residents were further prepared for analysis using a technique using Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), further by looking at the pattern of X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning electron microscopic (SEM). Based on the results obtained AAS has identified mineral deposits include: Na, K, Mg, Al, Cu, Zn, Fe, Ba, and Sr. From the results of XRD shows that the main peak of the salt Krayan shows major peaks for NaCl crystals with impurities such as KCl, CaCl2, MgCl2, and AlCl3. SEM observation showed that morphology of Krayan salt have cube shape which is the shape of NaCl crystals with space group Fm3m and lattice parameter (a) 5.620 Ã… Keywords : Mountain Salt, krayan, AAS, XRD, SEM Abstrak Telah dilakukan penelitian analisis kandungan garam gunung asal Krayan Kabupaten Nunukan Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi mineral yang terkandung dalam garam gunung. Garam gunung diperoleh dari sumur warga Kecamatan Krayan yang selanjutnya dipreparasi untuk dianalisis dengan menggunakan menggunakan teknik Spektrometer Serapan Atom (SSA), selanjutnya dengan melihat pola Difraksi Sinar X (XRD), dan Scanning Elektron Microscopy (SEM). Berdasarkan hasil SSA telah diidentifikasi diperoleh kandungan mineral antara lain: Na, K, Mg, Al, Cu, Zn, Fe, Ba, dan Sr. Dari hasil XRD terlihat bahwa puncak utama dari garam krayan tersebut menunjukkan puncak utama untuk Kristal NaCl, dengan impurities antara lain KCl, CaCl2, MgCl2, dan AlCl3. Selain itu hal ini didukung pula oleh pengamatan SEM, bahwa morfologi SEM garam krayan memperlihatkan bentuk kristal kubus yang merupakan bentuk dari Kristal NaCl dengan grup ruang Fm3m dengan panjang kisi kristal 5,620 Ã….
