Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant positive influence of Group Investigation Cooperative Learning Model towards Student Learning Motivation. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative data analysis. The populations of this study are 140 students and samples are 56 students. Based on the results of the test using theta test obtained value of 0.4795 and kai square formula obtained X2 = 19,38 and Xtabel = 9,488 with a significant level of 0.05, gives the meaning that there is a significant positive influence of Group Investigation Cooperative Learning Model towards Student Learning Motivation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh positif yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan analisis data kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 140 siswa dan sampel 56 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil hitung menggunakan uji theta didapat nilai sebesar 0,4795 dan rumus kai kuadrat di peroleh X2 =19,38 dan Xtabel= 9,488 dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 0,05, memberikan arti bahwa ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.Kata kunci: group investigation, motivasi belajar, pengaruh
