Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of scramble games on the learning ability to compile simple sentence structures in students with hearing impairment. Scramble Game is the learning method that was chosen to convey the material for constructing simple sentences in this study. The research method used in this study was an experimental method with a Single Subject Research (SSR) design which was conducted in three stages, namely: 1) learning in initial condition (before intervention), 2) learning in the intervention condition, and 3) learning after the intervention. The research subject is a second-grade student with hearing impairment at a special junior high school in Cirebon Regency. The Scramble Game method is prepared by making picture cards containing simple words to be arranged into coherent sentences. The results of the study show that after being given learning with the scramble game with picture word cards, the student with hearing impairment experienced increases in their ability to compose simple sentence structures. This study provides alternative learning strategies, especially for teachers who teach the student with hearing impairment.

Abstract

AbstractThe clean water distribution system is one of the most important things in a building. Especially in the construction of the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education building which functions as a means of educational services, a good clean water distribution system must be needed in order to get smooth learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the need for clean water, ground water tanks and roof tanks, pipe diameters, and clean water pumps in the FPTK building. The data collection technique was carried out with the first stages of observation in the form of observations of the clean water distribution system, then interviews in the form of questions and answers with PT.Ciriajasa Cipta Mandiri as a project consultant, then the last one was a study of documentation in the form of specifications image data and work plans requirements. Based on the results of the calculation analysis, it is known that to meet the need for clean water with a population of 592 people, 56.83 m3/day of clean water is needed, then the ground water tank and roof tank volumes can be designed at 18.944 m3/hour and 0.473 m3/hour. With the required pipe diameter using 2 inch, 1 inch, 1 inch, 1 inch. To meet the need for clean water, a pump with a head of 59.32 m is required and the pump specifications are obtained, namely with a suction diameter of 50 mm, an exhaust diameter of 40 mm, a number of valves 2, a frequency of 50 Hz and a motor power of 5.5 kW. Keywords:Clean Water Distribution; Water Needs; Pipe; Pump.__________________________ AbstrakSistem distribusi air bersih merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting pada suatu gedung. Terutama dalam pembangunan gedung Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan yang berfungsi sebagai sarana pelayanan pendidikan, harus dibutuhkan sistem distribusi air bersih yang baik agar mendapatkan kelancaran dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kebutuhan air bersih, ground water tank dan rooftank, diameter pipa, dan pompa air bersih pada gedung FPTK. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tahapan yang pertama observasi berupa pengamatan mengenai sistem distribusi air bersih , kemudian wawancara berupa tanya jawab dengan PT.Ciriajasa Cipta Mandiri sebagai konsultan proyek, kemudian yang terakhir studi dokumentasi berupa data gambar bestek dan rencana kerja syarat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perhitungan diketahui bahwa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih dengan jumlah penghuni 592 orang diperlukan air bersih sebesar 56,83 m3/hari, kemudian dapat dirancang volume ground water tank dan rooftank sebesar 18,944 m3/jam dan 0,473 m3/jam. Dengan diameter pipa yang diperlukan menggunakan 2 inch, 1 inch, 1 ½ inch, 1 ¼ inch . Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih diperlukan pompa dengan head 59,32 m dan didapat spesifikasi pompa yaitu dengan diameter isap 50 mm, diameter buang 40 mm, jumlah katub 2, frekuensi 50 Hz dan daya motor 5,5 kW. Kata Kunci:Pendistribusian Air Bersih; Kebutuhan air; Pipa; Pompa.

Abstract

Abstract Innovative learning in vocational education, especially in engineering mechanics, solves student learning outcomes problems by applying the drill method in a lesson. This study aimed to measure the improvement of student learning outcomes using the drill learning method, which was designed to help students better understand the material. This research is a classroom action (PTK). The research subjects were students of class X DPIB 4 SMKN 1 Cirebon. The data technique was carried out by means of observation and test. The validity of the data obtained was tested by an expert judgment for the observation and test instruments. In contrast, the data analysis used descriptive analysis and N-Gain to see whether or not there was an increase in student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis and discussion results, the F-count obtained in this study is 37,25 with a 5% confidence level with a Ftabel of 2,26. It can be denied that the application of drill learning can significantly improve student learning outcomes for class X DPIB 4 in the subjects engineering mechanics SMKN 1 Cirebon. The findings of this study are the application of the training method by looking at the continuity of learning in the class of students. So that with the method, students can more easily understand and solve problems by solving a problem properly and involving students in a more active learning process. Keywords: Drill Learning Method; Learning Outcomes; Vocational. __________________________ Abstrak Pembelajaran inovatif pada pendidikan kejuruan, khususnya mata pelajaran mekanika teknik untuk mengatasi masalah hasil belajar siswa salah satunya adalah dengan menerapkan metode drill pada suatu pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode pembelajaran drill yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa dapat lebih memahami materi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas X DPIB 4 SMKN 1 Cirebon. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan tes. Pengujian validitas data yang diperoleh menggunakan expert judgement untuk instrumen observasi dan tes. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan N-Gain untuk melihat adakah peningkatan atau tidak pada hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, Fhitung yang diperoleh penelitian ini sebesar 37,25 dengan tingkat kepercayaan 5% dengan Ftabel sebesar 2,26, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran drill dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan untuk kelas X DPIB 4 pada mata pelajaran mekanika teknik SMKN 1 Cirebon. Temuan penelitian ini berupa keberhasilan menerapkan metode drill dengan melihat keberlangsungan belajar di kelas siswa merasa senang, semangat, antusias, tidak bosan/jenuh, dan tidak mengantuk. Sehingga dengan metode ini siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami dan menyelesaikan masalah-masalah dengan memecahkan suatu soal dengan baik dan melibatkan siswa pada proses pembelajaran yang lebih aktif. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to measure and describe the influence of students’ self-efficacy level on their work readiness after receiving vocational education. The data were collected using questionnaires on a Likert scale of four answer choices. The data were analyzed to measure the effect of each dimension of the self-efficacy variable (1. Level of task difficulty, 2. Confidence strength and 3. Behavior area) as an independent variable on work readiness factors (1. Maturity level 2. Past experience 3. Mental conditions and Matching emotions) as the dependent variable using partial correlation statistics and regression. An interpretation after hypothesis testing shows a significant level of α = 0.05, indicating that self-efficacy has a significant influence on student work-readiness, with a high level of relationship and direct effect. The data analysis indicates that each dimension of self-efficacy simultaneously increases student work readiness. It is indeed the principal capital for students to enter the workforce, especially in the business and industrial world, which is a place for vocational education. Keywords: Self Efficacy; Work Readiness; Vocational Education _______________________________________________________ Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menjabarkan tingkat pengaruh self efficacy seorang mahasiswa terhadap kesiapan kerja mereka setelah mengenyam pendidikan vokasi. Instrument penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuisioner dengan skala likert empat pilihan jawaban. Data penelitian dianalisis untuk mengukur pengaruh setiap dimensi dari variabel self efficacy (1. Tingkat kesulitan tugas 2. Kemantapan keyakinan dan 3. Luas bidang perilaku) sebagai variabel independen terhadap variabel kesiapan kerja dengan factor (1. Tingkat kematangan 2. Pengalaman masa lalu 3. Keadaan mental dan emosi yang serasi) sebagai variabel dependen menggunakan statistik korelasi parsial dan regresi linear. Interpretasi setelah pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, dengan tingkat hubungan yang tinggi serta pengaruh yang searah. Hasil pengolahan data tersebut menjelaskan bahwa setiap dimensi self efficacy mampu secara simultan meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa yang menjadi modal utama bagi para mahasiswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja terutama di dunia usaha dan dunia industri yang menjadi muara pendidikan vokasi. Abstract

The government has now started to lower the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions level during the Covid-19 pandemic, but it cannot be predicted that it will return to normal. This makes the world of education to be able to choose a learning model whose implementation is flexible both offline and online. Learning outcomes are an indication of the success of a learning process. In line with the previous explanation, the purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of implementing Game-Based-Learning (GBL) learning-assisted Kahoot! with digital media in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Construction Cost Estimation. This research is a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The results of the study show that the application of GBL produces an average score that is more effective than before the treatment, where the value obtained has exceeded the category of determining the completeness of learning outcomes for productive subjects that have been determined. To see the picture that GBL can improve student learning outcomes, it can be seen from the results of the test that the increase in N-Gain has increased with a moderate category. Based on the research findings and discussion in terms of the process and improvement of student learning outcomes, the N-Gain Score of 65.00% is categorized as quite effective, so the application of GBL can be applied according to current conditions and can be more optimal.Keywords: Construction Cost Estimation, Game-Based-Learning (GBL), Kahoot!, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research collects and processes with the aim of examining the development of research on porous asphalt in Indonesia using a bibliometric approach with utilize VOSviewer application. The data is acquired from Google Scholar using publish and perish as the reference manager application. In the data search process, researchers used the keywords ‘porous’, 'porous asphalt' and 'Indonesia' as a reference so that search results were concentrated and facilitated mapping. From the search results, 224 articles have been found that are relevant to the keywords used. The research time span used as study material is an article contained in Google Scholar for the last 5 years (2018-2022). The results of this research of porous asphalt can be divided into 3 parts, namely asphalt, porous asphalt and Indonesia. The term “asphalt” is associated with 42 links with 233 total link strength. The term “Porous Asphalt” is associated with 25 links with 62 total link strength. For 'Indonesia' is associated with 44 links and 254 total link strength. based on the results of the analysis show an increase in the number of studies on porous asphalt in Indonesia every year but the increase is not so high and so that it can be said that it is still rare

Abstract

Abstract - Assignment is one way teachers in the learning process that can encourage students to improve understanding of the subject matter that has been given by the teacher. From the activities of the learning process, educators can see the extent to which the student's ability to understand a subject matter. This study aims : (1) to determine the general description of structured Assignment, (2) to determine the general description of student learning outcomes, and (3) to determine the effect of structured assignment on the learning outcomes of Class XI students in SMK PU Negeri Bandung on the subject of construction cost estimation. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method, in which to answer the formulation of the problem the researchers used a tendency test, a simple linear regression analysis of Theil method and correlational analysis. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with Likert scale and documentation in the form of structured task value of construction cost estimation subjects. The results of this descriptive analysis showed a picture of structured assignment is quite good and the picture of student learning outcomes with an average of 71.7 included in the category of good. The test results with Theil regression analysis and Spearman Rank Correlation obtained Zhitung value (3.083) Ztabel (1.96) means H0 is rejected, then Ha is accepted. Thus the provision of structured tasks significantly affect the learning outcomes of students in Class XI at SMK Pu Negeri Bandung on the subject of construction cost estimation.Keywords: Structured Assignment, Learning OutcomesAbstrak - Pemberian tugas merupakan salah satu cara guru dalam proses pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong siswa untuk memperbaiki pemahaman materi pelajaran yang sudah diberikan oleh gurunya. Dari kegiatan proses pembelajaran itu, pendidik dapat melihat sejauh mana kemampuan siswa tersebut dalam memahami suatu materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran umum pemberian tugas terstruktur, (2) untuk mengetahui gambaran umum hasil belajar siswa, dan (3) untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pemberian tugas terstruktur terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI di SMK PU Negeri Bandung pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, di mana untuk menjawab rumusan masalahnya peneliti menggunakan uji kecenderungan, analisis regresi linier sederhana metode Theil dan analisis korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala Likert dan dokumentasi berupa nilai tugas terstruktur mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi. Hasil analisis deskriptif ini menunjukkan gambaran pemberian tugas terstruktur sudah cukup baik dan gambaran hasil belajar siswa dengan rata – rata sebesar 71,7 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil pengujian dengan analisis regresi Theil dan korelasi Spearman Rank diperoleh nilai Zhitung (3,083) Ztabel (1,96) artinya H0 ditolak, maka Ha diterima. Abstract

Society 5.0 is a challenge for the Indonesian people. These challenges are the cause of increasingly stringent entry into the world of work. Competition to enter the world of work which is increasingly stringent, has increased the number of unemployed in Indonesia. The unemployment rate which has increased, apart from being caused by the low competence knowledge possessed, is due to the lack of readiness for student work. Work readiness is a condition in which individuals are mentally and physically ready to carry out work-related activities. One of the factors that influences work readiness is emotional intelligence. A person with high emotional intelligence, has the ability to control himself, has the endurance to face obstacles, lacks self-satisfaction, can regulate moods, empathizes and can control his emotions so that he is able to control the anxiety that is within so as not to interfere with the ability to think. This study aims to find out the description of emotional intelligence and work readiness of students, as well as how emotional intelligence influences the work readiness of Building Engineering Education students Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The research method used is associative descriptive research with a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The number of research samples was 51 students, consisting of 2019 Building Engineering Education students. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that the emotional intelligence and work readiness of Building Engineering Education students Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia are in the fairly high category, and there is a significant influence of emotional intelligence on work readiness of Indonesian Education University Building Engineering students.

Abstract

The Occupational Health and Safety Program (K3) aims to prevent workplace accidents and occupational health issues in the work environment. The implementation of K3 also aims to protect all parties involved and improve work productivity. However, many companies still overlook K3 issues. This research focuses on analyzing the work of Retaining Wall (DPT) in the construction project of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education Building (FPEB) at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. The JSA method is used to identify and analyze risks related to specific jobs or tasks. The research is conducted through steps such as literature review, data collection, data processing and analysis using the JSA method, and discussion of the research findings. The results of the research show that there are potential hazards that need to be identified and controlled in DPT work, such as collision with an excavator, falls, punctures, exposure to landslides, and others. Through the implementation of appropriate control measures, such as equipment inspection, proper method selection, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and provision of first aid equipment (P3K), risks can be reduced. The importance of understanding and awareness of K3 is also highlighted in this research. In conclusion, JSA analysis is crucial in identifying and controlling potential hazards in DPT work, as well as enhancing awareness and compliance with K3 in the work environment.   Program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) bertujuan untuk mencegah kecelakaan kerja dan masalah kesehatan terkait pekerjaan di lingkungan kerja. Implementasi K3 juga bertujuan untuk melindungi semua pihak terkait dan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Namun, masih banyak perusahaan yang mengabaikan masalah K3. Penelitian ini fokus pada analisis pekerjaan Dinding Penahan Tanah (DPT) pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FPEB) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) menggunakan metode Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Metode JSA digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis risiko yang terkait dengan pekerjaan atau tugas tertentu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah seperti studi literatur, pengumpulan data, pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan metode JSA, serta pembahasan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat potensi bahaya yang perlu diidentifikasi dan dikendalikan dalam pekerjaan DPT, seperti benturan dengan excavator, terjatuh, tertusuk, terkena longsoran tanah, dan lain-lain. Melalui penerapan langkah-langkah pengendalian yang sesuai, seperti inspeksi alat, pemilihan metode yang tepat, penggunaan APD, dan penyediaan alat pertolongan pertama (P3K), risiko dapat dikurangi. Pentingnya pemahaman dan kesadaran terhadap K3 juga disoroti dalam penelitian ini.
