Abstract

Years Ago, the Minangkabau tribe Community in West Sumatera as the the largest matrilineal in the world, has a communal economic system based on the Minangkabau tradition with a proto-democratic system. This paper aims to analyze the comparison of traditional economies with Islamic economics. The research method is descriptive qualitative by conducting surveys and focused group discussion (FGD). The results show Minang people who obey the Islamic rules and Minang custom do not carry out the Islamic economy system. It is because the influence of social and cultural side such as the capitalist economy system. As a result, there will be less togetherness between people based on the philosophy of "Adat Basandi Sa'arak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah".

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer and the second leading cause of death in the world. One of the supporting therapeutic efforts to overcome cancer is through food, mainly fruits. Ananas comosus has been investigated for its potential as an anti-cancer. It is a source of antioxidants from the content of Vitamin C and flavonoids that work by capturing free radicals, resulting in inhibition of cancer cell proliferation.Objective :This study was conducted to determine the antioxidant activity and cytotoxicity of water extract of Ananas comosus on T-47D breast cancer cell lines.Method: The process of extracting pineapple flesh is done using water as a solvent, then tested its antioxidant activity using DPPH and cytotoxicity using MTT assay on T-47D.Result: IC50 value for antioxidant activity was 463.369 μg / mL and the IC50 for the cytotoxicity assay was 488.003 μg / mL.Conclusion : The water extract of Ananas comosus have very weak antioxidant activity and moderate cytotoxicity properties that have potential as chemo preventive agents in T-47D breast cancer cell lines.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of profit sharing and financing ceilings on Non Performing Financing in Islamic Banking. The effect of the level of profit sharing on Non-Performing Financing, as well as the effect of the financing ceiling on Non-Performing Financing in Islamic Banking in the City of Bukittinggi. The population in this study, a number of 35 debtors of Islamic banks whose businesses are classified as micro, small and medium enterprises that trade in Bukittinggi City. Data collection is based on the census method, namely the number of respondents in the population is the same as the sample. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The variables in this study use the independent variables, namely the level of profit sharing (X1) and the financing ceiling (X2) while Non-Performing Financing (Y) is the dependent variable. The results of the study obtained the equation Y = 0.315 + 0.520X1 + 0.867X2, the significance value of the profit-sharing rate variable (X1) is 0.016 and the financing ceiling (X2) is 0.000 which means that there is a significant and positive effect on the profit-sharing rate (X1) on non-performing financing (Y) of Islamic banking, traders in Bukittinggi have a significant and positive influence on the financing ceiling (X2) on non-performing financing of Islamic banking in Bukittinggi City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how much influence fintech has on the operational development of Sharia Rural Bank or BPRS in an area, in West Sumatra. Fintech is an innovation in the field of financial services or banking financial institution services, one of which is to support financial inclusion programs. The development of digital financial technology, including in the Islamic financial services industry, undeniably affects financial mechanisms in operational activities, especially in financing products. Fintech is a potential economic force to be developed in the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which consists of thousands of islands. With the development of technology, especially fintech, Sharia Rural Bank or BPRS must follow or adjust financing services to debtors and prospective debtors by adopting fintech in operational activities. Technological developments that require BPRS to follow and adjust services to debtors (mudharib) so that BPRS can grow and develop.
