Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low social science learning outcomes of students in class V B SD Negeri 147 Pekanbaru. Of the 35 students only 16 students reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), while the average score obtained by students was 69.86. Based on this emerging problem, the researchers conducted the study by applying a cooperative learning type pair check model. The purpose of this study is to improve social studies learning outcomes by applying a cooperative learning model type pair check. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in class V SD Negeri 147 Pekanbaru with 36 research subjects. The results showed that in the first cycle of meeting I the percentage of average teacher activity was 58%, the second meeting was 79%. While in the second cycle of meeting I the percentage of the average teacher activity was 83%, the second meeting the percentage was 87%. And in the first cycle of the first meeting the percentage of teacher activity was 54%, the second meeting was 70%. Whereas in the second cycle of the first meeting the average percentage was 83%, the second meeting of the student activities was 91. In addition to the basic score the average score of the students was 69.86 increasing to 73.57 in the first cycle, and increasing again to 78.14 in cycle II. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model type pair check can improve social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 147 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model Pair Check Type, Social Studies Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi keragaman dan kemiripan karakter vegetatif dan generatif padi gogo di Kabupaten Banggai. Penelitian ini yang meliputi  kegiatan menanam padi gogo dari hasil ekplorasi, kegiatan uji karakter morfologi, kegiatan analisis cluster, kegiatan identifikasi padi gogo dengan cara isozim. Uji karasterisasi morfologi menggunakan analisis  cluster skala 1,5 diperoleh delapan varietas padi gogo yang memiliki karakter berbeda satu sama lainnya. Tampak satu varietas yang membentuk garis lurus yang menunjukan tidak terdapat hubungan kekerabatan dengan varietas lainnya yaitu varietas ”Superwin” yang mengelompok sendiri (terpisah) dengan padi gogo lainnya. Keragaman pita enzim EST terlihat bahwa varietas Sunggul Manohong, varietas Laleha, varietas Talate, dan varietas Tano memiliki penampilan keragaman pita enzim EST yang sama, namun berbeda dengan varietas Superwin,varietas Habo, varietas Salampati, varietas Superwin,varietas Habo,varietas Salampati, ketiganya menunjukan perbedaan. Dengan demikian terdapat empat kelompok dari varietas tersebut

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the three main issues, those are the main challenges faced by higher education institutions of Islamic Religion (PTAI),the implementation of the integration of religion and science in PTAI, and PTAI response to secularization and Islamization of science. Those make this paper focuson the discussion how PTAI response to the challenges, so PTAI can offer objects and perspective studies of Islamic knowledge and science that are universal, not dichotomous impression, challenging and interesting in future studies. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tiga masalah pokok, yaitu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi Islam Agama (PTAI), implementasi integrasi agama dan sains di PTAI, dan respon PTAI terhadap sekularisasi dan Islamisasi sains. Hal itu menjadikan tulisan ini lebih menitikberatkan pada diskusi bagaimana respon PTAI terhadap berbagai tantangan, sehingga PTAI dapat menawarkan objek dan perspektif kajian pengetahuan Islam dan sains yang universal, tidak terkesan dikotomis, menantang dan menarik minat studi di masa depan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of students understanding of mathematical concepts. This research aims to determine: 1) how the progress understanding indicators of students comprehension of mathematical concepts in class VIII SMPN 1 Rao Utara by applying active learning strategies questions students have type accompanied of quiz; 2) the students’ comprehension of mathematical concepts in class VIII SMPN 1 Rao Utara that apply active learning questions students have type accompanied of quiz was better than students’ comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply conventional learning. This design of this research was experiment with a random research on the subject. Population of this research was student`s at grade VIII  SMPN1 Rao Utara. Results of hypothesis testing with one side of t- test it was obtained that thitung was greather than ttabel, then the hypothesis in this research received. In conclusion, students’ comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply active learning The Learning Cell type accompanied by quiz was better than students’ comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply conventional learning.

Abstract

Creativity is the human ability to think, modify, discover and create something. Creativity in the scientific world and the general public is common term. In reality, creativity and human life are two different things, but inseparable, thus affecting and closely correlated. Life and civilization will stagnate and vacuum without creativity. Creativity always presents and appears in the rhythm of space and time as the level of thinking and the human needs. Problems faced by higher education in Indonesia today is the low creativity of both students and lecturers. Those are caused by: (1) creativity is not taught in higher education, (2) the creativity of students is less supported by parents, (3) the leader of higher education considers creativity as a means of damaging the system or existing products, and (4) the routines of lectures and students. In order to develop creativity in higher education, then the leader and lecturers should eliminate bad habits in destroying the creativity of subordinates and students, parents should continue the natural talent of the child, select the child’s social environment, minimize  punishment, and do not curb excessively  child to “do“ something. Ways that can be taken to intensify creativity in higher education including by the use of creative techniques based practical such as: brainstorming, incubator method, and the method of mapping the mind

Abstract

Iklan merupakan salah satu instrumen penting yang ikut berperan dalam mempromosikan keberadaan potensi wisata kepada publik. Iklan mempunyai peran penting dalam bidang pemasaran dan publikasi kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari pembuatan iklan wisata motion graphic ini adalah mendokumentasikan dan sekaligus media informasi untuk mempromosikan potensi wisata di Kabupaten Bulukumba, khususnya mengenai wisata Pantai Tanjung Bira, Kecamatan Bonto Bahari. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan iklan wisata di Bulukumba penulis mengumpulkan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis desain komunikasi viusal. Iklan video motion graphic dirancang menggunakan berbagai aplikasi, seperti Corel Draw X7, Adobe After Effects CS6. Yang menghasilkan Iklan wisata Tanjung Bira Kabupaten Bululmba dengan durasi 2 menit 57 detik yang menampilkan informasi grafis Gerbang wisata Tanjung Bira, pantai yang berpasir putih, dan berbagai fasilitas-fasilitas serta akomodasi didalam tempat wisata. Manfaat dari pembuatan iklan wisata ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan sejarah, tradisi, dan budaya kota Bulukumba yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi bagi masyarakat. Penelitian

Abstract

Abstract: Code-switching is an important issue in bilingual education. Many researchers have investigated its value in classroom teaching and learning process. However, this paper focuses on code-switching of English and Indonesian which happens in online social media. This paper identifies the types, topics, and factors motivating code switching in the online chatroom (LINE) among 80 bilingual young adults, the alumni of a senior high school in South Sumatra. Cross-sectional survey design was used in this study. The data were collected through documenting, questionnaire, and interview. Later, the data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of the study revealed that the senior-high-school alumni mostly used intra-sentential code-switching (67%). The topics in the chatroom included social issues, technology, education, politics, health, economics, and faith; the reasons why they used code-switching were avoiding misunderstanding (75%), being easier to speak in one?s own language (52.5%), not knowing the English words (28.7%), no similar words in L1/L2 (27.5%), filling the stopgap (25%), giving emphasis (25%), conveying intimacy (18.8%), and having privacy (18.8%). In addition, the statistics showed that the topics and factors  had a significant relationship. Code switching can be a useful strategy in online interaction to serve many purposes.Keywords: code switching, bilingual, social media

Abstract

This study is meant to evaluate the implementation of the programs in CSETS of South Sulawesi, West Sumatera, and Central Java by using a CIPP method. This is an evaluation study by adopting a quantitative and qualitative approach. The data were collected by using questionnaires, interviews, documents and observation. The results show that in general, based on CIPP aspects, the programs of CSETS in three provinces are categorized to be good, with Central Java as the best, followed by West Sumatera and South Sulawesi. With the context aspect, all CSETS are categorized to be good, with Central Java as the best, followed by West Sumatera and South Sulawesi. With the input aspect, all CSETS are categorized to be good, with Central Java as the best, followed by South Sulawesi and West Sumatera. With the process aspect, CSETS of Central Java and West Sumatera are categorized to be good, and CSETS of South Sulawesi is categorized to be fair, with Central Java as the best, followed by West Sumatera and South Sulawesi. With the product aspect, CSETS of Central Java is categorized to be good, and CSETS of South Sulawesi and West Sumatera are categorized to be fair, with Central Java as the best, followed by South Sulawesi and West Sumatera.

Abstract

Wakaf memainkan peran ekonomi dan sosial yang sangat penting dalam sejarah Islam. Wakaf berfungsi sebagai sumber pembiayaan bagi sarana ibadah, pendidikan, pelayanan sosial dan pertahanan. Banyak pengembangan sektor ekonomi Islam atau perbankan syariah yang dikaitkan dengan wakaf, tidak terkecuali di tahun 2017 Pemerintah bersama OJK menginisiasi adanya Bank Wakaf Mikro sebagai upaya menjawab permasalahan kemiskinan, yang bekerjasama dengan lembaga berbasis pesantren di Indonesia. Istilah Bank wakaf mikro dipilih karena pihak pemerintah mengharapkan agar inti dari dana yang disebar ke masyarakat tetap terjaga intinya tanpa mengurangi manfaatnya, selain itu dinamai Bank Wakaf Mikro dikarenakan operasi BWM ini berada di lingkungan pesantren. Selama perkembangannya BWM ini, menggunakan istilah bank wakaf mikro dalam penamaan lembaganya akan tetapi dari dasar hukum dan bentuk dari badan hukumnya justru sangat jauh dari penamaannya.Badan hukum dari BWM ini adalah Koperasi, sedangkan izin usaha BWM adalah lembaga keuangan mikro syariah sehingga pengawasannya berada di bawah Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normative dengan menggunakan data sekunder dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Kata kunci: Hukum, Bank, Wakaf, Mikro, Indonesia. Abstract Waqf plays a very important economic and social role in Islamic history, waqf serves as a source of funding for religious facilities, education, social services and defense. Many developments in the Islamic economic sector or Islamic banking are associated with waqf, not least in 2017 The Government and OJK initiated the Micro Waqf Bank as an effort to address the problem of poverty, in collaboration with pesantren-based institutions in Indonesia. The term micro waqf bank was chosen because the government expects that the core of the funds distributed to the community is maintained intact without reducing its benefits, besides it is named the Micro Endowment Bank because the BWM operation is in the pesantren environment. During the development of this BWM, the term micro waqf bank was used in naming its institutions, but from the legal basis and form of legal entities it was very far from naming it. under the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This study uses a normative juridical research method using secondary data using qualitative descriptive analysis. Keywords: Law, Bank, Waqf, Micro, Indonesia.
