Abstract

Expression process of under earth surface can be done variosly, one method used is resistivities methodwhich can be used in geothermal exploration, geotechnical application, ancient object seeking, seeking ofground water and others. Saturated water zone determination the above tunnel sasaksaat PadalarangBandung Regency very need, this matter done to know distribution aquifer and earth coat resistivitiesabove tunnel Sasaksaat. This research use Wenner-Schlumberger method with two trajectory direction,that is vertical trajectory of tunnel and unidirectional of tunnel. Obtained some saturated water zone, thisarea have very low resistivities. Generally each trajectory have saturation water point, among other thingsat straighten trajectory, trajectory 1 at 75 meters, trajectory 2 at 80 meters and trajectory 3 at 50 meterspoint. Each +- 10 meters depth from surface since near surface trajectory 3. Unidirectional trajectory mostsaturated water zone point 430 meter with deepness +-25 meters from surfaceKey word : Geoelektical Study, Wenner-Schlumberger method

Abstract

Abstract: This is aimed to design Edmodo Media as learning media Physics focusing on momentum and impuls. This research was conducted since March until Juny 2018. It used R and D research methodology and it used ADDIE as learning media planning model. The instrument which is technique which is used in collecting the data was by validating the media planning by validator. Data analysis technique which is used was conducted for two times by doing suggestion by the validator. The first validity result shows 4,00 which is categorized high for material aspect, 4.10 which is categorized high for visual aspect, and 4.18 which is categorized high for learning design aspect. The second validation was conducted after revision. The result of the second validation was 4.30 which is categorized very high for material aspect, 4.27 which is categorized very high for visual aspect, and 4.40 which is categorized vey high for learning design aspect. Finally, the edmodo online learning media has been developed for impuls and momentum material. This learning media has very high validity which make it suitable used as learning media for impuls and momentum material.Key Words : Reseach and Development, ADDIE, Edmodo online media

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the contribution media based learning on traditional culture equipment on motivation and misconceptions of students. The method used is a quasi-experiment research was conducted in Kampar Junior High Schools of 121 students. Data Analysis that used is descriptive and inferential analysis. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the contribution of the media based learning on traditional culture equipment for increased motivation and to lower the misconception. This shows the media based learning on traditional culture-equipment can improve motivation and can reduce misconceptions of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students process skills through the implementation of gas kinetic theory learning media based on the inquiry approach. The method that what used in this research is One Shot Case Study design. The subject of this research is class XI MIA 3 SMANegeri4Pekanbaru. An Instrument of the data collection wastest ofthe learning result of learning processskills. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis.The results showed the average absorption capacity of students process skills was in a good category at 74,95%. The level of process skills shows 81,25% of students have good basic skills, while the integrated skills are68,75%.It can be concluded that the implementation of learning media in the form of experimental devices based on the inquiry approach can improve the learning outcomes of student’s process skills in the material of the kinetic theory of gas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the validity of Book based on Riau traditional cultural with the approach of Physics Concepts. The method of this research is Research and Development. It was conducted in the physics laboratory in physics education program at the university of Riau. Three physics educators to validate this book. The data is analyzed by a descriptive analysis to categorize the average score of the validity of Book based on Riau traditional cultural with the approach of Physics Concepts. Based on the analysis of research data, it is obtained an average score with high category, for all aspects that are rated at sub content , that is Traditional Cane Sugar Production, canoe runway, simple machine, Working Principles Of Traditional Hunting Tools, Physics Principles on Traditional rice process, Phycics concept in Traditional Music Tolls, Physics Concept in Tradisional Games and Phycics concept in Traditional Music Tolls (hit and blow up). It suggests Book based on Riau Traditional cultural with the approach of Physics Concepts valid so that it can be used as a reference for physics lessons

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in learning motivation of students of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in Optical Instrument material through the implementation of cooperative learning model, in Team Assisted Individualization type. This type of study is a pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of this study were students of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, with 35 students. Data collection is done by giving the initial motivation questionnaire and final motivation questionnaire to students. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The result showed that the average score of final motivation was obtained an increase from the average score of initial motivation with score difference 0.45. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the Team Assisted Individualization type can improve student learning motivation.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model Team Assisted Individualization Type, StudentMotivation, Optical Instruments.

The method used in this research is descriptive with the type of content or document analysis. The subject of this research is a class XII student with the number 129. The data obtained in this study a matter of Physics 2016 percentage categorized HOTS are analyzed using indicators about by A. Thomas and G. Thorne as well as data analysis of high-level thinking skills of students in the national exam physics obtained through answer students' work on the problems. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the national exam physics is capable of measuring high-level thinking skills of students on average are less well categorized.Key Words: Higher Order Thinking Skills, HOTS Students, National Physical Exam

Abstract

Abstact: The purpose of this study is to improve student’s understanding about physic concept of fluid dynamic topic with implementation REACT strategy. There were 70 students of SMA N 7 Pekanbaru in XI MIA 2 dan XI MIA 3 participated as research subject in this study. We used lesson plan and student worksheet of fluid dynamic as learning materials. The instrument that used to measure the level of understanding physic concept was comprehension test. The data taken in this study analyzed descriptively. Based on the data analysis, we found that understanding concept of experimental class using REACT strategy better than control class using conventional learning. Thus it can be concluded that the REACT strategy can improve student’s concept understanding on fluid dynamic materials.Keywords: Fluid dynamic, REACT strategy, understanding physics concept

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the concepts achievement of physics and determine different in the concepts achievement of physics students between classroom  implementation strategy hollywood squares learning with conventional learning classes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with a intact group comparison design. The sample of this research is 33 students XI IPA2 class that that appliying of strategy hollywood squares learning and 34 students XI IPA3 class that is with conventional learning . The data in this reseacrh a concept mastery score after appllyng of hollywood squares learning. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical. From inferential statistical we found that, there were a difference  ability of the  concept achievement of physics student’s between hollywood squares learning group with conventional learning group. The result of this research olso swhowed   the concept of physics control of students in class implementation strategy hollywood squares learning that are in the medium category with a score of 70.22, while in the conventional classroom learning physics problem solving ability of students that are in the low category with a score of 63.47. thereofer,It can be concluded that the implementation of strategies hollywood squares learning can improved their understanding of physics concepts students in work and energy effort in class XI IPA at SMAN 14 Pekanbaru.
