Abstract

Nesi Eka Putri (09070022), Learning Activities Students Lesson In Sociology Class XI IPS SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District. Thesis. Sociology of Education Studies Program (STKIP) PGRI West Sumatra, Padang, 2013The research was motivated by the low activity of learners in sociology lesson. The low activity of learners is shown from the students are not serious in learning, while the teacher explains lessons chide and creative learners in improving learning less look of the tasks performed by the students did not do well. This study aimed to describe the activities of learners in the learning process sociology class XI IPS SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District.Type of research is classified by the type of descriptive qualitative research. The research object is the class XI students of SMAN 3 Lengayang IPS2 South Coastal District by the number of students by 32 people.The tool used for this study is a list that contains the results of observation checklists and learning activities of learners are processed using the formula percentage (%).These results indicate that the percentage of learners learning activities in class XI IPS2 SMAN 3 Lengayang listen to an explanation for the activity with the percentage of 53.26% of teachers, students listen to a friends question with a percentage of 27.41%, the students listened to a friend reply percentage of 28.10%, students read the book before the learning process starts with a percentage of 3.89%, students read notes/ summary of lessons with a percentage of 5.18%, subject matter with students noting the percentage of 38.53%, accounting for the bulk of students/ incomplete material that teaches about the percentage 24.88%, the student asked the teacher if students do not understand the material being taught with a percentage of 1.91%, the students asked the friend if students do not understand the material being taught teachers with a percentage of 5.09%, students answer questions from teachers and friends during the learning process takes place with a percentage of 1.91%, students only have to answer questions from the teacher during the learning process takes place with the percentage of 10.2%, of students working on a given task well with the percentage of 34.36 % of teachers, students working on the task only partially/ not complete with the percentage of 36.58%

Abstract

The lesson text book is one of sources and learning media which is used by teacher and students in implementing learning process recently, the various of text book which are published by many publishers, factly there are many history text book found that does not complete the requirement as example in text book is not explained the basic concept and change movement when explain the material. To be easy this research, the problem were formulated as follow: how the material completeness illustration and how compatibility of material type on every concept component and changing of an event, based on fact, concept and also principle. The aim of the research was to know the completeness illustration material and type compatibility on IPS terpadu text book Erlangga publish and Platinum on history lesson. The research method was library study by doing collecting ofthe matters at library by analyzing a problem as research topic. The data analysis was done by using content analysis technic, it was used as a data analysis technic to     analyze a document content books and also literature which become research sources. The book which was analyzed was history text book IPS terpadu Erlangga and Platinum. The research result got both of these book did not present their material based on concept component, it was seen from progress of event based on the changing movement on Erlangga and Platinum book did not present all of changing movement, but there were lack and over on bath of them. The over of Erlangga book was explain the material summary and the lack was it did not explain the arrival of west nation completely, eventhough the over of text book Platinum was explain the arrival of west nation in Indonesia completely and it’s lock was not consistent in describing material. The compatibility of material type bused on fact, concept and principle and both of books were suitable.

Abstract

Learning processes is student should get be active to arrange and constructing also there is collaborative which student can work together to understand a study which finally will impact to result study of student are low because learning method character one direction to delivery informations until students are not accustomed to facts interpretation. One of ways to improve facts interpretation in history learning is giving queation and getting anwer model. The puspose of this research is to know the effect in applying model to result of study students hystory at SMP Negeri 25 Padang. The kind of this research is quantitative. The data which is gotten through experiment at student grade VII SMP Negeri 25 Padang. The choosing sampel in this research based on group randomly with a assumption that every groups have sames ability and habit in study history subject. Experiment class is class VII.4 and control class is class VII.5. Based on the data which is processed, result of study giving fact interpretation that score achievement history of experiment class higher than control class. This case can be seen at posttest value of experiment class is 8,17 and posttest value of control class is 6,52. So that the improving result of study to history facts interpretation of experiment class higher than control class. It can be concluded that applying learning model of giving question and getting answer give influence to result study of student. This method can be used as an alternative way to apply it in the class by teachers to improve the interest and result study of student.

Abstract

Students ability low in giving example of history concept one of them is caused by history learning process still like giving information. There way to improve the understanding about giving example history concept through Cooperative Type Question Student Have learning. The purpuse of this research is to describe the influence Cooperative Type Question Student Have leraning to result of study students’s history grade XI IPS at SMAN 1 Sutera Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The advantages of this research  are adding the knowledge  and history teacher competence  in using Cooperative Tipe Question Student Have learning method result study of history students.The kind of this research is quantitative research where the data is gotten through experiment at students grade XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The choosing sample in this research is taken based on the Randomized Control Group Only Design, then is gotten the experiment class is grade XI IPS 1 and control class is grade XI IPS 2. After do the research can be gotten that the result of study giving example of history concept class average in experiment class higher than control class is grade XI IPS 2. This thing can be seen from difference in posttest value of experiment class with 8,33 and posttest value of class control is 6,66 with hypothesis in tcount is 2,23 meanwhile ttable is 1,67. From the analysis of this research and discussion can be concluded that the applying Cooperative Type Question Student Have learning give influence in significance way to result study of student in giving example matery concept history subject grade XI IPS at SMAN 1 Sutera Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. So that can be conclude that teacher can use Cooperative Type Question Student Have learning to giving example of concept.

Abstract

This research was partly motivated by the history teacher is still teaching method based on applying the old habits , the teacher is more likely to use lecture and question and answer , and the teacher used to give the record a lot of the students at SMAN 2 Bayang District South coast . On the basis of the problem of this research is focused on the implementation of learning in introductory activities , core activities and events covering the history of learning social studies in SMA 2 Bayang South Coastal District . This study aims to determine the implementation of core activities , ie the Elaboration of activities undertaken in the process of teaching social studies teacher at SMAN 2 history Bayang South Coastal District . Based on these problems , the type of research used in this study is descriptive evaluative study , to test the validity of the data the authors used data triangulation . Then the techniques of data analysis in this study using the interactive analysis technique proposed by Huberman Milles , which consists of data collection , data reduction , data display and conclusion drawing / verification .The results showed , that the history teacher at SMAN 2 Bayang South Coastal District . Teachers have understood the purpose of elaboration activities , but can not fully implement learning activities in accordance with the purpose of elaboration .The results of the study concluded that the implementation of the teaching and learning process in the core activities in the process of elaboration by historical subject teachers at SMAN 2 shadow has not been implemented in accordance with existing guidelines according Permendiknas 41 in 2007 .

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the ability of a social studies teacher held variation in applying skills in the learning process in the history of SMP Negeri 3 Mirror Beach, Solok. This type of research used in this study is the evaluation of research studies with qualitative analysis to study the location of SMP N 3. Based on these results it can be concluded that the implementation of teachers skills in applying variations on pebelajaran IPS held at SMP Negeri 3 Coast Mirror both variations in the way of teaching styles, use of media and learning tools, as well as patterns of interaction in the classroom has not been implemented to the maximum. Teachers should be able to apply ketermpilan held variations on each learning process takes place.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teaching materials chosen by teachers, one of them at SMAN 1 Painan indicate that teaching materials are contained in the RPP generally contains about facts, concepts and principles, but not complete, as the RPP class x SMAN 1 Painan no principle. So it is not balanced it between the material taught in SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Painan.Based on these problems, the method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, which is to see and describe what it reveals anything, it is desirable from this study is deskiptif, description of materials and Verbs Oprasional (Marines) contained on learning objectives (RPP). To know the material and Operations Verbs (Marines) pembelajarn purposes only studied in the lesson plan.he results showed that the material contained on learning objectives, lesson plans teachers Painan in SMA 1, SMA Negeri 2 Painan and SMA Negeri 3 Painan. RPP SMAN 1 Painan teachers and teachers of SMAN 2 Painan more material about the concept of teacher lesson plans while SMA 3 Painan more about the facts. Verbs are There At RPP Learning Objectives 1 Painan State High School teacher, said operational work that is generally used to describe. Operational verb used means teachers want students to have the ability to understand the meaning, explaining, reiterating an idea urther analysis shows that the Operations Verbs (Marines) are used in SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Painan Painan less relevant, while at SMAN 3 Painan been better. Based on the above findings it can be concluded that teachers of SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Painan Painan lack of understanding about the type of material and Operations Verbs (Marines). While teachers of SMAN 3 Painan less meseimbangkan type of material. It is recommended that working with colleagues in the manufacture of the learning objectives.

Abstract

Lock of student’s fact interpretation understanding ability is caused by various of factors go such as history learning process which is still delivering of information that make student to be able to remind, the history learning aim is to practice students to think critical trough fact in history learning. One of effort to increase fact interpretation understanding in history learning is cooperative learning mode type STAD.the aim of the research is to know the effect of using cooperative learning model type STAD toward students history learning result at SMAN 5 Padang.the advantage of this research is to practice students to formulate fact to be concept and principle in order to increase student’s history study result in finding material matter by self and increase creativity, students’interest and also develop students’minf set toward history lesson material understanding. Kind of the research of quantitative research which data got trough direct eksperiment on XI IPS students of SMAN 5 Padang the research sample was got based on group random with arsumption that every group has same ability and habit in learning history. The sample was two classes that XI IPS 1 as experiment class and XI IPS 2 as control class. The research result shown the result study in interpretating achievement history fact experiment classhigher than control class. It’s seen from differences of posttest average score experiment class as big as 5,71 and counrol class 4,75.It means that history fact interpretation result study increasing of experiment class higher than control class. From analysis of research result and explanation can be concluded that application of cooperative learning model type STAD had significant effect toward students’ study result in interpretating history material fact of XI IPS SMAN 5 Padang

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah ternyata guru belum sepenuhnya mampu memotivasi siswa. Cara guru seperti mengajar dengan hanya menerangkan materi dan menjadikan siswa sebagai pendengar membuat siswa tidak termotivasi untuk belajar. Pembelajaran berlangsung dalam suasana yang kurang menyenangkan, sehingga siswa terindikasi memiliki motivasi belajar rendah dan bosan dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan usaha guru memotivasi siswa pada pembelajaran Sejarah di kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman.Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan informan penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI di SMA N 2 Pariaman, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan guru mata pelajaran sejarah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data, digunakan trianggulasi data. Kemudian teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari 4 komponen yaitu: Pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display, dan pembuatan kesimpulan.Setelah analisis data dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Sejarah, telah diupayakan guru dengan cara 1) pemberian penguatan yang dilakukan guru dalam bentuk kata-kata pujian.        2) menggunakan tes dalam nilai pada pelaksanaan ulangan harian. 3) membangkitkan rasa ingin tahu siswa dengan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan. 4) mendapatkan perhatian siswa dengan memberikan siswa waktu untuk bertanya tentang materi yang tidak dipahami.                  5) merangsang hasrat siswa dalam belajar melalui penyajian materi yang menarik.                  6) menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi seperti pemakaian simulasi dan permainan berupa gambar tokoh yang menjadikan siswa lebih bersemangat dalam belajar.

Abstract

Low motivation of student to learn especially in studying the science of social subjectin Junior High School 25 Kabupaten Solok Selatan. History Education Program. STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. Padang 2014. The background of this research is low motivation of student to learn especially in studying the science of social subject. Based on that problem, this research focuses on reinforcement of teachers to motivate students especially in the science of social subject in Junior High School 25 Solok Selatan. The primary purpose of this research is to find relationship reinforcement of teachers to student’s motivation in the science of social course.Types of research that used in this research are descriptive correlation. The population of this study is all of students in Junior High School 25, Solok Selatan 2013/2014, and the sample of this research are 46 students which taking with Proportional stratified random sampling technique with Slovin formula. The result of this research describes reinforcement of teachers to students motivation in Junior high school 25 Solok Selatan in medium (39, 13%), meanwhile students motivation in Junior High School lower (46, 65%). The result of hypothesis evidence there are relationship between reinforcement of teachers to students motivation in Junior high School 25 Solok Selatan, the relationship of reinforcement of teachers to students motivation is lower with r count = 0,317 with r table 0,294, but the direction of relationship is positive because the value of r is positive. This study describes the results that reinforcement of teachers influence motivation in general, however discussed separately but was not correlated. This finding suggests that reinforcement essentially no impact in isolation, but overall influence student motivation. It means if the teacher give motivation, so that the student motivation will be arise.Â
