Abstract

The problem of this research was that the society’s confusion about uniting of three time zones (WIB, WIT, and WITA) to become one time (WITA), especially moslem people in Indonesia. Due to this phenomena, it made them got confusion in determining the correct time of doing cumpolsory prayers. Realizing this problem the research was done to study about the uniting of those times that were lied on WITA.Actually, there were two formulas that could be used to solve that problem, namely: first, by using ordinary formula in which time zone of WIB was added one hour and by delaying one hour for time zone of WITA, and second, by calculating the time by using the prior time prayer and correcting the formula refers to several formulas in time zone of WITA. Therefore, by uniting of those three time zones did not give negative effects on determining time prayers.

Abstract

In general, different perspectives upon the position of kiblat still take place among Moslems due to the way to determine the position which is believed too simple. Consequently, when the position is determined by more sophisticated and accurate tools, differences take place. Such differences deal with the determination of the course of Mekkah due to differences in measuring the degree which in turn will affect expected position. As a result, the position of kiblat  is not suitable with the Islamic law anymore. Conversely, determining the position of kiblat by using more valid and accurate technology will ensure the accurate position of kiblat itself and guarantee full belief in performing prayer (shalat).

Abstract

Implementation of Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2006 about PerubahanUndang-undang Nomor 7 Tahun 1989 about Pengadilan Agama (Islamic Court)points out that Pengadilan Agama has authority to solve conflicts related to sharia economics. Chapter 50 points out that any problems among Moslems dealing with sharia economy should be solved in Pengadilan Agama. Due to the development of sharia economic activities, such as Sharia Banks, Sharia micro financial instutions, and many other, the possibility of legal problems are open. In solving such problems, beside referring to Undang-Undang and Kompilasi Hukum Ekonomi Syariah (Compilation of Sharia Economic Law), judges also consulted The Quran, the Sunnah and other resources for Islamic law, especially in relation to Fiqh Muamalah. By consulting those resources as considerations, any legal decision will lead to the invention of new law (rechtsvinding) which is based on law interpretation and construction. This is made possible since Pengadilan Agama has established law resources, especially about shariaeconomy, such as books of fiqh which is very contextual in application. It is expected that the decisions which have been made will be better in terms of quality and accountability.

Abstract

The development of Islamic Astronomy (Falak) inevitably influenced by previous Falak scholars, like Sa’aduddin Djambek which popular with his book “Pedoman Waktu Shalat Sepanjang Masa (The guidance about all the time of praying schedule)”. Currently, the book still refferenced as the praying schedule determination in some areas in West Sumatra. The main issues of this research are to answer abot how the hisab method of all the time of praying schedule by Sa’aduddin Djambek as well as how to analyze this method. Then, the objectives of the research is to describe the calculation method of all the time praying schedule and analyze this method. The result shows that the determination of the beginning of praying schedule in Indonesia it mostly close or even equal to the result of modern hisab. Some factors causes the diffences of hisab result is method, formula, and data. Nevertheless, the differences are not that much, it is only 1 to 2 minutes. Besides, the all time praying schedule sometimes sooner and later than hisab result of praying schedule calculated by contemporary hisab method. Therefore, it can be assumed that the all time praying schedule is accurat hisab method, since its result close or even equal to contemporary hisab method. Moreover, its calculation is more simple and understandable.Keywords: Sa’aduddin Djambek’s Hisab, Praying Schedule, All the Time Abstrak Perkembangan ilmu Falak saat ini tidak terlepas dari keterlibatan ahli falak sebelumnya, seperti Sa’aduddin Djambek yang terkenal dengan karyanya “Pedoman Waktu Shalat Sepanjang Masa”. Sampai saat ini kitab tersebut masih menjadi rujukan dalam penentuan awal waktu shalat di beberapa wilayah di Sumatera Barat. Pokok permasalahan dalam makalah ini adalah bagaimana metode hisab awal waktu shalat sepanjang masa menurut Sa’aduddin Djambek dan bagaimana analisis terhadap metode hisab waktu shalat sepanjang masa. Adapun tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan hisab awal waktu shalat sepanjang masa dan menganalisis metode hisab awal waktu shalat sepanjang masa. Analisis yang diperoleh dari metode Hisab tersebut, bahwa  dalam penetapan awal waktu shalat wajib untuk wilayah Indonesia, jadwal waktu shalat sepanjang masa  banyak yang mendekati bahkan ada yang sama dengan hisab kekinian.  Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya perbedaan hasil hisab tersebut karena disebabkan oleh cara-cara, rumus dan data yang digunakan. Walaupun demikian, perbedaan-perbedaan hasil yang didapatkan tidak mencapai pada takaran waktu yang cukup jauh, tapi hanya terpaut pada menit saja  dengan selisih antara 1-2 menit. Selain itu jadwal shalat sepanjang masa kadang lebih awal dan kadang lebih akhir daripada jadwal shalat hasil perhitungan dengan rumus hisab kontemporer.[MIH1]  Sehingga dengan demikian dapatlah dikatakan bahwa metode hisab waktu shalat sepanjang masa merupakan metode hisab yang akurat  dan hasil hisab mendekati hasil yang sama.dengan hisab kekinian. Selain itu proses perhitungannya lebih sederhana dan mudah dipahami.Kata kunci: Hisab Sa’aduddin Djambek, Waktu Shalat, Sepanjang Masa [MIH1]Narasi simpulan ini dapat digunakan untuk mempertajam kembali pilihan narasi di bagian abstrak. Abstract

The phenomenon of determining the time of the first day of Ramadan and the first day of Shawwal in Indonesia raises a prolonged folemic, each group has its own basis and methods. In West Sumatra region, there is a Tariqat Syatahariyah group which still has a large influence in the midst of the Minangkabau community, so they have their own method of determining the beginning of the Islamic month, the reckoning taqwim method. This method is found in the book of Mizan al-Qarb, which discusses the initial determination of the Qamariyah (lunar) system. This paper is more focused on how the dating system and the method of determining the beginning of the month of Qamariyah in the Mizan al-Qarb manuscript from the viewpoint of Falak and Astronomy. The method used is the field method and literature with the approach of Philology, Falak Science and Astronomy. The data source is the manuscript of Mizan al-Qarb found in Surau Calau Sijunjung. The documentation technique is used in data collection, with several stages: collection, selection, and criticism. With the findings of the manuscript Mizan al-Qarb with conditions that have begun to be damaged, then it is necessary to preserve the contents contained therein concerning the calendar and the method of determining the beginning of the Qamariyah which refers to the rukyat method, using the naked eye and not using the media, so it is concluded if the calculation starts from Thursday the result is the same as contemporary reckoning, if it starts Wednesday will be the first day difference with contemporary reckoning

Abstract

This study examines the comparison of the Qibla direction using the Qibla direction application with the Sun Azimuth method. The problem is that there are many methods that can be used in measuring the Qibla direction especially in today's technological era. One such method is the Android-based Muslim Pro application. From these problems the question arises, namely how to position the Qibla direction using the Qibla direction application and the Sun Azimuth method, then what are the advantages and disadvantages of the Sun Azimuth method with the Muslim Pro Qibla direction application in determining the Qibla direction. This research is a field research. Data obtained through Ephemeris data, interviews and measurements using both methods. After the data collected, it is processed by means of Persistent observation, Triangulation, using reference materials. Then the data is analyzed in a cooperative way, namely comparing the measurement results of the Muslim Pro Qibla direction application with the measurement results of the Sun Azimuth method. This study found that there are differences in measurement results between the Sun Azimuth methods in the application of the Muslim Pro Qibla direction.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana proses pelaksanaan tradisi manjampuik nasi sapariuk di Nagari Simawang Kecamatan Rambatan Kabupaten Tanah Datar dalam tinjauan hukum Islam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Dengan temuan bahwa tradisi manjampuik nasi sapariuk adalah kebiasaan manjampuik marapulai dengan membawa nasi sapariuk apabila pasangan tersebut tidak melaksankan walimah, apabila tradisi ini belum dilaksanakan maka perkawinan bagi pasangan suami istri di dalam adat yang berlaku di Nagari Simawang Kecamatan Rambatan Kabupaten Tanah Datar termasuk nikah gantuang, maksud dari nikah gantuang tersebut yaitu suami belum boleh tinggal serumah dengan istri, sahilia samudiak (jalan-jalan berdua-duaan) dan melakukan hubungan suami istri sampai ia melaksanakan tradisi manjampuik nasi sapariuk. Dalam hukum Islam tradisi manjapuik nasi sapariuk  ini diperbolehkan selama tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam secara langsung, selain dari itu, tradisi ini memiliki banyak manfaat dari pada mudharatnya seperti kedua pasangan lebih dihargai dan membawa dampak baik bagi nagari dan kedua keluarga. Tradisi ini sudah dilaksanakan secara turun temurun yang harus dijaga dan dipandang baik oleh masyarakat.
