Abstract

ABSTRAKIndustri kreatif memainkan peran signifikan terhadap pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia. Upaya pemerintah untuk mengembangkannya adalah membangun kota kreatif di Kota Bandung. Industri permainan interaktif merupakan satu dari 14 subsektor industri kreatif yang dikembangkan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan gambaran kondisi industri kreatif permainan interaktif di Kota Bandung berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang dipersepsikan oleh produsen dan konsumennya. Hasil studi menunjukkan ada 6 faktor yang dipersepsikan penting oleh produsen dan 8 faktor yang dipersepsikan penting oleh konsumen. Di beberapa faktor pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya namun belum efektif karena kurangnya sosialisasi. Biaya ikut promosi mahal dan prosedurnya belum jelas. Kondisi lain, penyediaan Unit Pelayanan Teknis oleh pemerintah belum dimanfaatkan secara efektif, kesulitan modal untuk membeli software asli, sulit mendapatkan pinjaman karena prosedur rumit, serta upaya penerapan cukai bagi produk CD dan DVD yang bisa merugikan produsen. Harapan konsumen adalah media promosi diperbanyak, diskon harga, promosi yang lebih menarik, serta produk lebih bervariasi.Kata kunci: industri kreatif, permainan interaktif, faktor kemampukembangan industri. ABSTRACTThe creative industries play a significant role in the economic development of Indonesia. The government's efforts is to develop a creative city in Bandung. The interactive games industry is one of the 14 sub-sectors of the creative industries developed. This study aimed to provide a picture of the interactive gaming industries in the city based on producers and consumers perceived factors. This study concluded that there are 6 important perceived factors of the producers and 8 important perceived factors of the consumers. Some of the government effort's on several factors have not been effective due to lack of socialization. The cost of participating in the promotion is considered to be expensive and the procedure is also still unclear. Another condition that occurs is the provision by the Technical Services Unit of the government has not been used effectively. This is due to the difficulty of capital to buy original software, difficulty in getting loans because of complicated procedures, and the applying of tax (customs) for CD and DVD products that are considered detrimental for producers. Consumers expect that there are a lot of media to introduce the product, some granting discounts for the price, an attractive promotional activities, and to increase product variety.Keywords: creative industries, interactive gaming, developability factors of industry.
