Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) to the attitude and student cognitive achievement in SMAN 2 Malang. This research applied quasy experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The populations of this research is all student of class X SMAN 2 Malang on academic year 2008/2009. The samples of this research were class X7 as experimental (PjBL) and class X8 as control (conventional). The instrument of this research namely cognitive achievement test and attitude scale questionnaire to river ecosystem. This research data are quantitative data consisted by score cognitive achievement and attitude scale questionnaire to river ecosystem, collected on 14 Maret until 31 May 2009. Data were analysed by bilinear covariant statistical analysis (Ancova), continued with LSD test. The result of this research indicated that there were PjBL toward the cognitive achievement and student attitude to river ecosystem. Students with PjBl having attitude higher 11,65% from conventional students. Beside, students with PjBl having cognitive achievement higher 81,05% from conventional students. Based on this research, the researcher suggest to the teacher that this strategy can be implemented in biology learning. Kata kunci: Project Based Learning, sikap terhadap ekosistem sungai, hasil belajar

Abstract

Pembelajaran Biologi mengharapkan siswa memiliki keterampilan metakognitif. Keterampilan metakognitif adalah keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh siswa untuk mengontrol kemampuan berpikirnya. Hasil-hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kurang memiliki keterampilan metakognitif dan guru masih belum paham tentang pemberdayaan metakognitif. Pemberdayaan keterampilan metakognitif dapat dilakukan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran konstruktivistik yaitu pada model pembelajaran ERCoRe. Model pembelajaran ERCoRe dikembangkan dengan prosedur pengembangan model mengacu pada Plomp (1997) terdiri dari 5 fase yaitu (1) fase investigasi awal, (2) fase desain, (3) fase realisasi/konstruksi, (4) fase tes, evaluasi, revisi, dan (5) fase implementasi. Komponen model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa sintaks, sistem sosial, prinsip reaksi dalam hal ini peran guru dalam memproses pembelajaran, sistem pendukung, dan dampak instruksional dan dampak pengiring. Sintaks model yang dikembangkan sebagai berikut. 1) Elicitation, 2) Restructuring, 3) Confirmation, 4) Reflection yang disingkat dengan ERCoRe. Produk telah divalidasi dengan hasil uji ahli menyatakan produk model dalam kategori layak. Produk model pembelajaran akan diuji melalui quasi eksperimen untuk mengetahui efektivitas dalam memberdayakan keterampilan metakognisi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap mutu pendidikan di SMK N 1Pabelan.Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif; Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode questioner. Sampel yang digunakan adalah semua guru di SD N karanggondang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan perhitungan dari statistik dengan Software SPSS (Statistical Program Smart Solution) Ver.17.0 For Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Budaya sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap mutu pendidikan sebesar  67,6% kategori sedang, Motivasi kerja guru berpengaruh positif terhadap mutu pendidikan sebesar 100% karegori kuat serta. Budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama sama berpengaruh positif terhadap mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Soybean  is a staple commodities agricultural in Indonesia, but the production of soybean in Indonesia is still low due to the attacks of disease caused by infection of CpMMV. This research was conducted to study anatomical characteristics of the 10 soybean  linesto CpMMV and two superior varieties.The research was conducted atJambegede Research Station, Indonesian Legume and Tuber Crops Research Institute, Malang andlaboratory of genetics, State University of Malang  to observe the anatomy of leaf include the length, width, and number of stomata and the length and number of trikoma.The test was analyzed using one-way ANOVA. Results of the analysis showed significance > α (0.05) on each character, this indicates there is no difference in the character of both stomata and trikoma on 10 soybeanslines to CpMMVand two varieties superior.Kata kunci: Anatomi, kedelai, CpMMV

Abstract

Morphology is performance of a genotype that is influenced by environmental and genetic interaction. This research was to study the quantitatively morphological characters of ten CpMMV-resistant soybean promising lines, i.e. UM.4-1, UM.7-2, UM.2-4, UM.7-6, UM.6-2, UM.6-3, UM.3-2, UM.6-1, UM.7-3, UM.3-4 and two superior varieties Gumitir and Wilis. The study was conducted at Indonesian Legume and Tuber Crops Research Institute (ILETRI) from March to June 2015. The observation was done by measuring the quantitative morphological characters such as leaf length, leaf width, leaf petiol length, leaf area, leaf ratio (P/L) and plant height. The data were tested using multivariate analysis. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences on morphological characters of CpMMV-resistant soybean promising lines as well as superior varieties Gumitir and Wilis based on the leaf length, leaf width, leaf petiol length, leaf area, leaf ratio (P/L) and plant height. Hotellings Trace (0.00) was smaller than the significance value (0.05) showing the differences among the groups.Kata Kunci: kedelai, CpMMV, karakter morfologi kuantitatif

Abstract

The aimed of this study was to evaluate the context, input, process, product of Healthy School program in Public School Kutowinangun 04 Salatiga (SD Negeri Kutowinangun 04 Salatiga). This study was evaluative research using CIPP model. The technique of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. Some of the steps being taken in the analysis of the data included: data collection, data reduction, data display and verification. Validation of data using triangulation techniques and resources. The results showed: (1) from the aspects of Context, the Healthy School program was the policy of the central government to improve the quality of education through the improvement of students health, in addition to the schools needs, especially the students in Public School Kutowinangun 04 Salatiga  were still low level of health, (2) from the aspect of Input, design program proved to be able to answer the need for the program to address the low level of students health, and supported by human resources, facilities and infrastructure, adequate cost, 3) from the aspect of Process, Healthy School Program has been run in accordance with program planned but on its implementation there were obstacles where schools have limited funds and inadequate infrastructure, and (4) from the aspect of Product, all targets to be achieved in program planned has been reached so that impacted the improvement of the quality of education in Public School Kutowinangun 04 Salatiga and therefore eligible to continue in the next period with several aspects improvements.

Abstract

An indicator of the learning effectiveness could be seen from the student’s mastery of concepts and whether the concept was long embedded in his memory or the so-called retention. Good retention is one of the factors that will conduct the learning process goes smoothly. The reality shows that the academic ability of each individual is different, and the student’s mastery of concept and retention are still low, so the selection of strategy is an important factor and learning strategy of PDEODE(Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain) becomes the choice. The aim of this research is to explain the effect of learning strategy of PDEODE on the mastery of concept and retention in nutrition and health course on students with different academic ability in biology education of PGRI Ronggolawe University, Tuban. This study was a quasi-experimental research and the research design was pretest-posttest control group random subjects. The results of Manova indicated that 1) there was a difference in the mastery of concepts on nutrition and health subject among the students who were taught by PDEODE and conventionally, 2) there was a difference in retention on nutrition and health subject among students who were taught by PDEODE and conventionally, 3) there was a difference of mastery of concepts on nutrition and health subject among the students with the high academic ability and low academic ability, 4) there was a difference of retention on nutrition and health subject among the students with the high academic ability and low academic ability, 5) there was interaction between learning strategy and academic ability on the student’s mastery of concept on nutrition and health subject, 6) there was interaction between learning strategy and academic ability on the retention of the students on nutrition and health subject.

Abstract

ABATRACTThe main objective of this study is the found of four level micro nutrients (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu)dan N on peat soil to reach for enough level in tissue plant soybean so optimal soybean yield. Thestudy was carried out in Kalampangan Vilage, Sabangau Palangka Raya from June until September2005. The treatments aplied in this study were: fo = 5 ton manure fertilizer ha-1+3 ton dolomit ha-1 +1,2t ha-1 dust vegetation on peat; f1 = fo + (30 kg Fe+20 kg Zn+15 kg Mn+15kg Cu) ha-1 + 100 kg Ureaha-1; f2 = fo + (30 kg Fe+20 kg Zn+15 kg Mn+15kg Cu) ha-1 + 150 kg Urea ha-1; f3 = fo + (30 kgFe+20 kg Zn+15 kg Mn+15kg Cu) ha-1 + 200 kg Urea ha-1; f4 = fo + (35 kg Fe+25 kg Zn+20 kgMn+20 kg Cu) ha-1 + 100 kg Urea ha-1; f5 = fo + (35 kg Fe+25 kg Zn+20 kg Mn+20 kg Cu) ha-1 + 150kg Urea ha-1; f6 = fo + (35 kg Fe+25 kg Zn+20 kg Mn+20 kg Cu) ha-1 + 200 kg Urea ha-1; f7 = fo +(40 kg Fe+30 kg Zn+25 kg Mn+25 kg Cu) ha-1 + 100 kg Urea ha-1; f8 = fo + (40 kg Fe+30 kg Zn+25kg Mn+25 kg Cu) ha-1 + 150 kg Urea ha-1; f9 = fo + (40 kg Fe+30 kg Zn+25 kg Mn+25 kg Cu) ha-1 +200 kg Urea ha-1, the combination with two varietas namely are Sibayak and Wilis (symbol v; Sibayak= v1 dan Wilis = v2). The result showed that nutrient content on tissue plant soybean verietas Sibayakand Wilis increased together with increasing four level micro nutrients (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu) and N. Thetreatments f7, f8 and f9 are of the ttreatment can increassed mikro and makro nutrient in tissue plantsoybean to enough category except P and K nutrients. Amelioration of peat soil with some level fourlevel micro nutrients (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu) on the formulation with some level N, have effects verysignificant of increased the soybean verieteas Sibayak and Wilis yield. Treatment F8 give the bestyield of seed per square (340,92 g).Keywords: formulation micro nutrients and N, peat soil, nutrient in tissue plant soybean, soybeanyield
