Abstract

The number of employment that has been filled and depicted from the number of people who work can be interpreted as the absorption of labor. The purpose of this study is to know and compare the influence of medium and large industry, minimum wage and economic growth on labor absorption of processing industry sector in Sidoarjo and Pasuruan regency. The tool used in this research is multiple linear regression with time series data. The results of this study indicate that the test together (F test), where Fcount> Ftabel that is equal to 679.4531> 3.59 for Pasuruan and 27.85815> 3.59 for Sidoarjo regency which means Pasuruan Regency significantly more significant than Sidoarjo regency. Individually in both districts, the result of Amount of Medium and Large Industries has positive and significant effect on Labor Absorption, Minimum Wage has negative and significant effect on Labor Absorption, and Economic Growth has positive and significant impact on Labor Absorption. Keywords: Employment Absorption, Amount of Unit Industry, Minimum Wage, and Economic Growth.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of Third Party Fund (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and total assets as well as to examine the effect of third party funds (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to deposit Ratio (FDR) and total assets simultaneously and partially to finance the Islamic Banks Year 2007-2016.The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The hypothesis tests use t-test (to test the effect of variable partial) and F-test (test the effect of variables simultaneously) with significance level of 5% (0:05). The results shows that simultaneously affect independent variables (DPK, CAR, FDR and total assets) The dependent variable (financing) amounted to 99.74%, while the other 0. 26% are influenced by other factors not disclosed in this study. Partially DPK, FDR and total assets have positive and significant effect. While CAR no significant positive effect on the financing of Islamic Banks Year 2007-2016.Keywords : Capital Adequacy Ratio, Third Party Funds, Financing to Deposit Ratio and Distribution of Funds

In this study, researcher uses 30 respondents of stakeholders. The data type used is a cross-section then do hypothesis testing with F-test, t-test, and the coefficient of Determination on error rate α=5%. Furthermore, in this study also analyze cost efficiency and income. The findings of this study shows that capital variable has not significant effect towards income. Whereas, other variable such as wages and long effort have significant impact on the income of furniture industry in Malang. However, simultaneosly capital, wages, and long effort have significant impact. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,48, this indicates the ability of capital variable, wages, and long effort in explaining the amount of income of 48%. In addition, the cost of furniture industry in Malang is quite efficient and has average income 35,7 million.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the independent variables, namely the BI Rate, Third Party Funds (DPK), Capitalization of Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Operational Income Costs (BOPO) on Islamic bank financing in Indonesia 2010 - 2017. This type of research is Quantitative Inferential . The required data is secondary data from the financial statements of five Islamic banks in Indonesia 2010-2017.4. Data analysis techniques are panel data regression analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the BI Rate variable has a significant negative effect on financing, Third Party Funds (TPF) have a significant positive relationship to financing, while for the variable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a significant positive effect on financing and for Operational Income Operating Costs (BOPO) no significant negative effect on financing. The coefficient of determination (R ^ 2) is 0.938581 or 93.85%. This shows that the ability of the independent variables namely BI Rate, DPK, CAR and BOPO explain the dependent variable of Financing at 93.85% and the remaining 6.15% can be explained by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect inflation, exchange rates, interest rates and the Nikkei 225 Index on the Composite Stock Price Index in five ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand. Using panel data regression analysis using Eviews 9 since 2002 until 2016. The results of this study show that inflation and exchange rates partially have a significant negative effect on the stock price index in ASEAN, the Nikkei 225 index has a significant positive effect while the interest rate has no significant effect on Composite Stock Price Index. Simultaneously all variables influence the JCI and obtained an adjusted R-square of 67,92%, which means that 67,92% of the Composite Stock Price Index in ASEAN is explained by the four variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to find out how the effect of land area and labor of the agricultural sector on rice production in East Java Districts and (2) to find out how the differences between productivity strata are related to the influence of agricultural land area and labor on rice production in Districts in East Java Province. The analytical tool used is panel data regression which is then tested by hypothesis F test, t test and coefficient of determination (R2) at the error rate α = 5%. The results of panel data regression with the selected model are Fixed Effect Model showing that the area of land has a positive and not significant effect on rice production with a value of 0.08 and labor has a significant negative effect on rice production with a value of -0.31. While the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.94 or 94%. Conclusion for East Java, the highest production strata, medium production strata and low strata production coefficient values of land area and labor variables show less than 1, which means inelastic to rice production.
