Abstract

This study aimed to describe aspects of the mistakes made by the students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkinang City in solving problems related to materials Equations and Inequalities Value Absolute Linear Single Variable, describing the most common mistake made students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkinang City in solving problems related material Absolute Value Equations and Inequalities Linear Single variable, and to know how big the error percentage of students in each aspect of error. Method in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative desriptif. Qualitative description that describes the mistakes made kesalaha-learners by using words. While quantitative descriptive is describing big mistakes do learners using numbers. Suharsimi Arikunto (2006: 12) argues that research is a quantitative research approaches are required to use a lot of numbers, ranging from data collection, interpretation of these data, and displays the results. According Sumanto (1995: 77) descriptive study tried to describe and interpret what is there (could about the condition or relationship, a growing opinion, the ongoing process, due to actual or emerging inclinations). Based on the results of diagnostic tests on the material equations and linear inequalities absolute value of the variable obtained that there are students who make mistakes in solving problems related to the material. Mistakes made by learners consists of 71% false beliefs and misconceptions 69%

Abstract

The teaching objective is to give knowledge and skills for students. There are two factors influence students in learning; they are external factor and internal factor. The internal factor includes motivation, interest, attitude, and intelligence. This method is a speaking teaching method with psychological approach to stimulate and motivate students to speak. It uses students’ speaking problems as teaching materials and the techniques of this method are inspired from guidance and counseling techniques

Abstract

Research with information checking as a form of character management in education aims to determine the level of curiosity and responsibility of society, in this case, young people to report, to see how they manage the information obtained and disseminated. This research was conducted by survey method. The sampling technique using proportionate stratified random sampling to get a sample from the population in Vocational Health of Sadewa Yogyakarta. Instruments data acquisition using a questionnaire that contained 15 questions covering questions in the curiosity and responsibility for the information obtained. Based on the data obtained, it was found that there is a nursing class score of interest is 134, and commitment is 98. While the pharmaceutical grade score of curiosity is 148, and accountability is 78. The item of interest looked more significant than the things responsible for the information. Based on the calculation to be obtained percentage nursing class of 65.5% and pharmaceutical grade amounted to 67.25%. It is certainly still far from the ideals percentage of 100%. So it needs more attention to the cultivation of character the young generation in the era of freedom of information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whethe there is the influence of type TPS kooperatif learning model of mathematical problem solving ability junior high student in grade VII Negeri 1Kuok. This study is experimental study. Sampling technique using sampling techniques random. The subject of this study were grade students as aclass experiment VII D and grade students as a control class.Data collection techniques by doing dokumentasi, observation and test. In this study, meetings were held for five times, four meetings with implementing type models of cooperative learning TPS and one more meeting held posstest. To find out the result of the study investigatigators to manually calculate your own data. Based on the results obtained by use within the data, analyzed using the test “t” . analysis of data showed the value tcount = 8,79 and t table significant level of 5% and 1% at 2,01 and 2,68. This shows that (2,01<8,79>2,68), which means H0 rejected andHa accepted. Thus, itcan be concluded that there are type effect of cooperative learning model of problem solving TPS againt the students math class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kuok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk materi matematika kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Eksperimen, desain yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Dalam desain ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII diberi pretest untuk mengetahui keadaan awal ada atau tidaknya perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada November 2015 semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Berdasarkan nilai U-test dan rata-rata yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan LKPD berbasis PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. LKPD berbasis PBL memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap peningkatakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dikarenakan pembelajaran yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL tersebut memberikan permasalahan yang dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk berpikir secara logis, analitis, dan sistematis. Selain itu, permasalahan yang disajikan juga termasuk ke dalam soal pemecahan masalah, karena memiliki kriteria yang sama yaitu kontekstual, open-ended dan/atau non-rutin.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach to instrument design quantitative correlation. The data collection techniques used in this study is a questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The theory used in this research is the theory of symbolic interaction, attribution theory and the theory of self-discloser. This is evidenced by analyzing data obtained from the results of a questionnaire of 100 respondents. The results obtained concerning the interpretation of data management value 0,0778? rtabel rhitung = 0.195. At the significant level of 5% then the alternative hypothesis is accepted

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of counselor communication on the self-disclosure of students in SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. Counselors in high schools get a clear role and position or place, where counselors as a component of student support services (student support services) to help the development of personal, social, career, and academic aspects of students through guidance and counseling programs to students in plan (individual student planning), responsive service delivery and system development (system support). Therefore, counselors are highly required to have effective communication skills to support counseling, so counseling communication skills can make students open themselves. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subject in this study was the BK teacher of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare as the school counselor using data analysis techniques namely interpretation data analysis techniques and triangulation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the stages of counseling can be seen based on the stages of effective communication conducted by counselors, including; 1) Fact finding, 2) Planning, 3) Communicating, 4) Evaluating. The communication skills applied by counselors in the implementation of counseling are (attending), empathy, summarizing, asking, and honesty. By using the communication model, in this study found that the counselor's communication achieved students' self-disclosure as evidenced by giving their trust to the counselor, expressing honest statements in the counseling process, and students feeling relieved after the counseling. Based on some of the results obtained by researchers, the communication skills conducted by counselors to achieve students' self-disclosure are effective.

Abstract

Trigonometry is one of the basic of mathematics that is taught in high school. Students always thinks that trigonometry is a hard theory and this research aims to overcome the students’ problems by using VBA learning media base on the 6-question cognitive theory. This research will use the experiment method with a pre-test and post-test to see the difference on the students’ mathematics understanding ability that uses VBA learning media based on the 6-question cognitive theory and the one that uses traditional teaching method. The result of this research is that there is a difference and an increase in the students’ mathematics understanding ability that uses VBA learning media base on the 6-question cognitive theory compared to the students who uses traditional teaching method.
