The teaching objective is to give knowledge and skills for students. There are two factors influence students in learning; they are external factor and internal factor. The internal factor includes motivation, interest, attitude, and intelligence. This method is a speaking teaching method with psychological approach to stimulate and motivate students to speak. It uses studentsâ speaking problems as teaching materials and the techniques of this method are inspired from guidance and counseling techniques

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dengan pendekatan Heuristik dengan siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Eksperimen dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MTs Negeri Naumbai tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B dan VIII C yang pengambilannya menggunakan random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil dari perhitungan tes-t diperoleh = , dengan = 0,05 dan df = 38 dari daftar distribusi t diperoleh = 2,02. Dari perhitungan didapat = jelas berada pada daerah penerimaan Ha. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dengan pendekatan Heuristik dengan siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Learning equipment is important things that determine the quality of the learning process and output. We need a study about validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning equipment to ensure teaching and learning quality. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the validity of the learning equipment based on guided discovery, especially the students’ worksheets. This research was a descriptive qualitative research that provides the result of students’ worksheets and experts' recommendations. The experts who validated these student’s worksheets were three experts on mathematics education. The instruments used in this study was the validation sheets for LKPD. The result of validation sheets analysis for LKPD showed that in general, the students’ worksheets were valid. The validity of the didactical aspect and contents aspect sequently were 0,667 dan 0,704.
