Abstract

This study aims to determine whethe there is the influence of type TPS kooperatif learning model of mathematical problem solving ability junior high student in grade VII Negeri 1Kuok. This study is experimental study. Sampling technique using sampling techniques random. The subject of this study were grade students as aclass experiment VII D and grade students as a control class.Data collection techniques by doing dokumentasi, observation and test. In this study, meetings were held for five times, four meetings with implementing type models of cooperative learning TPS and one more meeting held posstest. To find out the result of the study investigatigators to manually calculate your own data. Based on the results obtained by use within the data, analyzed using the test “t” . analysis of data showed the value tcount = 8,79 and t table significant level of 5% and 1% at 2,01 and 2,68. This shows that (2,01<8,79>2,68), which means H0 rejected andHa accepted. Thus, itcan be concluded that there are type effect of cooperative learning model of problem solving TPS againt the students math class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kuok.

Abstract

Trigonometry is one of the basic of mathematics that is taught in high school. Students always thinks that trigonometry is a hard theory and this research aims to overcome the students’ problems by using VBA learning media base on the 6-question cognitive theory. This research will use the experiment method with a pre-test and post-test to see the difference on the students’ mathematics understanding ability that uses VBA learning media based on the 6-question cognitive theory and the one that uses traditional teaching method. The result of this research is that there is a difference and an increase in the students’ mathematics understanding ability that uses VBA learning media base on the 6-question cognitive theory compared to the students who uses traditional teaching method.

Abstract

Pandemic covid-19 menyebabkan dilakukannya tindakan pencegahan dengan meliburkan sekolah terutama yang berada di zona merah penyebaran Covid-19. Bangkinang Kota salah satu zona merah yang mengharuskan sekolah dari KB sampai dengan perguruan tinggi meliburkan peserta didiknya. Hal ini mengakibatkan terhambatnya proses pembelajaran. Guru-guru yang biasanya mengajar di dalam kelas menjadi kebingungan dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara yang dilakukan guru adalah dengan memberikan tugas kepada peserta didik melalui via whatssap. Namun usaha tersebut kurang memotivasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Matematika dengan Metode Daring menggunakan Google Classroom pada peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota tahun ajaran 2019/2020, pada kelas XI IPS 4 yang mengikuti kelas Daring via Google Classroom berjumlah 18 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 14 April 2020 sampai 15 Mei 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam satu siklus yang terdiri dari empat pertemuan. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa Lembar Kuesioner pelaksanaan Kelas Online atau Kelas Daring. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh jumlah siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi sebanyak 17 orang, dan 1 orang peserta didik memiliki motivasi belajar matematika sedang setelah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran daring melalui google classroom ini.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase learning motivation and mastery of E-learning by using the Zenius application in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Utara in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 32 people. This research was conducted from the beginning of April 2020 until the end of April 2020. This research is a classroom action research conducted online using several questionnaires, the link of which is sent to students through their WhatsApp group. This online research was conducted because it did not allow the writer to conduct research directly to school because at this time the teaching and learning process was carried out online. This online learning is due to the spread of the COVID-19 corona virus in almost all countries including Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is based on the low interest in student learning towards teaching and learning activities through online. Because there is a limited knowledge of students who are not sensitive to technology and information, some students complain because of the difficulty in accessing this online learning. Even so, there are several learning applications that are free, but because of the low interest in students learning about learning applications and because of a lack of understanding of how to use them, here the researchers conducted student observations of online learning via WhatsApp. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the increase in online learning via WhatsApp on student interest in learning. This research is a collaborative classroom action research between the researcher, the teacher as the subject giving action and the students as the recipient of the action. This research was conducted at MA Hasannah in class X MIPA, with 13 students. The data collection method used by researchers is in the form of filling out a questionnaire using google form, while the research instrument is the questions that are presented on the questionnaire filling sheet on the google form. In this study it can be concluded that there is low student interest in online learning so that it affects student learning outcomes, so the solution is to use the WhatsApp application in online learning.

Abstract

High Order Thinking Skill or Higher Order Thinking Ability is one of the abilities that is the goal in learning mathematics. Students are said to have High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) if they fulfill three aspects, namely analyzing, evaluating, and creating. It is necessary to get used to it from an early age, through various models, strategies, or learning approaches. There are several studies that have tested the effect of learning models, approaches, or learning strategies including through the application of Problem Based Learning, Web-Based Project Based Learning, scientific approaches and Problem Solving. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of learning models and approaches on HOTS. This study uses a meta-analysis method with a sample of 5 articles from national journals and in the form of a coding category instrument. This study proves that the effect of methods, models and approaches on HOTS, HOTS is more influenced by the Problem Solving learning method.
