Abstract

[ID] Semen merupakan suatu bahan pembentuk beton yang berperan sangat penting untuk mencapai mutu yang direncanakan. Selain pemilihan jenis merek semen, salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan kualitas beton yang baik yaitu dengan cara melakukan perawatan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kualitas tiga merek semen terhadap kuat tekan dan kuat lentur beton disamping itu juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perbedaan kekuatan dari masing- masing merek semen terhadap beton yang dirawat dan tanpa dirawat. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental yang sesuai dengan SK SNI T-15-1990-03. Penelitian ini menggunakan semen  Padang, semen Holcim, dan semen Bosowa, dengan menggunakan jenis perawatan perendaman pada sampel beton, pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian kuat tekan dan kuat lentur dengan mutu rencana fc 30 MPa dengan umur 7, 14, 28, dan 56 hari, untuk masing-masing umur dibuat 3 benda uji dirawat dan 3 benda uji tidak dirawat. Dari hasil uji kuat tekan rata-rata semen padang memiliki kekuatan 32,65 MPa, semen holcim 31,33 MPa dan semen bosowa  30,86 MPa. Sedangkan untuk pengujian kuat lentur semen padang 4,35 MPa, semen holcim 4,23 MPa dan semen bosowa 4,18MPa, sementara beton yang tidak dirawat memiliki nilai lebih rendah dari beton yang dirawat.. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa pemakaian merek semen perlu diperhatikan karakteristiknya serta perawatan mempunyai konstribusi yang cukup besar dalam mendapatkan mutu beton hasil pelaksanaan. [EN] The cement concrete as product that consit of several element which is important for achieve the quality that be planed. To choose same kriteria for getting the good quality of concrete, one of way are choosing the brand of cement and doing curing. Therfore, the aim of this research is ro know about the strength of of each brand of cement toword cured and uncuret concrete. This research used cement padang, cement holcim, cement bosowa with soaking treatments of concrete samples. The used of the tests are compresive and bending strength of concrete with using quality plan fc’ 30 MPa and age range 7, 14, 28 and 56 days. The cement padang is better than others cement and by getting the the highest value also found cement Padang has the sensitivity to the curing. Cement Bosowa got high strength at the beginning of the age and for cement Holcim is relativity stable with the age. From the researh, knowed that is important the selection of cement brand and curing to get the good result consist of the quality by yhe first plan.

Abstract

Discovery method is a component of educational practices that include teaching methods that promote active learning, the orientation in process, directing his own, find your own and reflective, Use of discovery learning, wants to change the conditions of passive learning to active and creative, learning teacher oriented to student oriented, and change the ekspository mode students only receive information from the student's teacher Discovery mode to find information themselves. The learning result is the ability of the students after receiving a learning experience. With action research methods class through two cycles of data obtained an increase in the results of class X MIPA 1 SMAN 3 Padang Panjang, amounting to 29 students from the mean value approximately 52% of students scoring above the clasical minimal value, and 48% of students are below the clasical minimal value, bethe average value approximately 86% of students scoring above the clasical minimal value, and 14% of students are below the clasical minimal value, learning discovery in learning geography will increase the activity of students in learning, both of individually and classical. Increased activity of students in learning makes students more enthusiastic about learning and will improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to describe the effectiveness of the use of information technology in online learning during the Covid-19 period at SDN 04 Koto Tuo Sulit Air. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of SDN 04 Kototuo Sulit Air in the 2020/2021 school year. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires online to 57 students who became respondents consisting of 18 grade IV students, 19 class V students and 20 grade VI students. The results illustrate that 1) As many as 89.47% of students stated that the use of information technology was effective in online learning, while 10.52% of students stated that the use of information technology was not effective in online learning, 2) Students stated that the most effective platform in learning online is WhatsApp at 50.88%, 3) Students state that the least effective platform in online learning is the zoom meeting of 47.37%

Abstract

At this time in the process of sweeping the road still using traditional tools by janitors, for example broom sticks. One of the technologies that began to develop was the Street Sweeper machine. This Street Sweeper is a tool to help alleviate the work of janitors in terms of road sweeping. Sweeping the highway using the Street Sweeper is one of the main steps to accelerate the process of sweeping the highway with rapid traffic flow. The working principle of this machine is by utilizing thrust from humans, by means of a machine being pushed and directed to the garbage scattered on the road. Therefore it is very appropriate to use Street Sweeper to sweep the road compared to using manual tools because it can save work time

Abstract

The pump is a device that can lift water from a lower height to a higher place, but because there are many pumps in the market that use electricity as a power plant and the selling price is quite high for rural communities, an appropriate pump is needed and cheap. Hydram pump is one alternative, where the workings of this tool can raise the water to a higher place with energy or power that comes from the water itself. Making Hydram pumps itself is relatively inexpensive, simple and durable. Hydram pumps are very popular because they work without using energy, so it is suitable for use in villages that do not have electricity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the height of the incoming water and the diameter of the outlet pipe on the height of the outlet water at the hydram pump. In this study the height of the incoming water was varied as high as 0.5m, 1m and 1.5m while the diameter of the aoutlaet pipe was varied by 0.5inc, ¾ inc and 1 inc. From this experiment it was found that the height of the incoming water and the diameter of the outlet pipe significantly influence the height of the outgoing water, of the two factors most influential on the height of the outgoing water is the height of the incoming water

Abstract

The quality of a product determines the level of market demand. This paper discusses the determination of the quality level of plastic molding with the sigma level method which uses the Box Plot to determine the desired quality limit. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of quality of product using statistics. The object of this research is to determine the weight variation of the souvenir of PNP logo with a weight indicator. The experiment were carried out on 200 samples taken at random.Then each sample is numbered from 1 to 200. Each sample is weighed carefully. The results obtained were processed using a box plot to obtain the numbered of rejected samples from 200 samples that were weighed. The result of data processing obtained 19 reject products from 200 products tested. From this data there are 9,5% of products that do not meet the desired specifications. Furthermore, the sigma level is determined from the results of data processing using a box plot. DPMO of 9.5% is 95000 Defects per Milion Opportunities. The result of determining the sigma level is 2.8 Sigma.

Abstract

The community service program carried out by the Mechanical Engineering Department, Padang State Polytechnic lecturer is an activity in order to fulfill the Tridarma of Higher Education for the 2018 budget year. The activity was held in the form of SMAW 2F welding improvement training for the youth of Koto Luar, Pauh sub-district, Padang. In this area, there are many high school graduates who have not dared to enter the real workforce because they feel they do not have sufficient skills to join the field workforce. On the other hand, the Koto Luar village is currently developing very fast, because there has been assimilation between migrants and indigenous people. Along with increasing population, of course also followed by the addition of living facilities. To synergize the increase in progress with its human resource capabilities, various knowledge and skills are needed, one of which is the electric welding skills knowledge of SMAW 2F. Its welding training was attended by 21 Koto Luar youths for 4 days at the Mechanical Engineering department workshop. Expected abilities after training, Koto Luar youths are able to properly weld 2F methods according to welding standards, so that later participants are expected to enter the world of welding work. After debriefing the participants can take part in the welding training well, so that they get the SMAW 2F welding certificate signed by the director of the Padang State Polytechnic. The welding enhancement training activity of SMAW 2F received positive support from the chairman of the Community Empowerment Agency (BPM) and village leaders, because this activity had long been wanted by the community. The Koto Luar community hopes that the training to improve SMAW 2F's welding ability for youth in Pauh Padang sub-district can be carried out continuously, because many young people are interested in SMAW's welding knowledge, the goal is to be able to open entrepreneurs and fill jobs around Lambung Bukit, Koto Luar , and Limau Manis Padang.
