Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the Merangin Regional Government's policy in managing and preserving long-haired heirloom cultural heritage in Air Liki Village, Tabir Barat District, Merangin District in 2018 and to determine the obstacles and efforts of the Merangin Regional Government in overcoming obstacles in the management and maintenance of heirloom cultural heritage. long hair. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method that is descriptive in nature. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method that is descriptive in nature. The informant selection technique used by researchers in this study is to use a purposive sampling method (sampling technique with certain considerations). The results of this study indicate that the policy of the Merangin Regional Government in the management and maintenance of long-haired heirloom cultural heritage in Air Liki Village, Tabir Barat District, Merangin District in 2018 does not exist, this is evidenced by the absence of a special placement of the existence of long hair and access road to the location which is not repaired (only using river channels). Merangin Regional Government Constraints in the management and maintenance of long-haired heirloom cultural heritage in Air Liki Village, Tabir Barat District, Merangin Regency in 2018 include budget constraints and are not yet registered as cultural heritage. The efforts of the Merangin Regional Government in overcoming obstacles in the management and maintenance of the cultural heritage of long hair heirlooms, including: budgeting through the Village Fund and coordinating with the Merangin District Tourism Office.

Abstract

This research is directed at describing the Jambi City Government's strategy in improving the function of the Youth Park to support the welfare of the surrounding community. Then identify what obstacles are faced in improving the function of youth parks as supporting the welfare of the surrounding community. Next, it explains the Jambi City government's efforts to overcome obstacles in improving the function of the Youth Park in supporting the welfare of the surrounding community. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The development of tourist attractions must continue to be carried out by means of innovation, the development of management of facilities and facilities must continue to be carried out in order to provide comfort for tourists who come to this youth park object. Human resource development by the Government must continue to be carried out periodically. Especially for the public and visitors so that there are no more criminal acts that can damage the beauty of the youth park.
