Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan dan jenis- jenis kesalahan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Dalam penelitian ini terpilih subjek penelitian sebanyak 5 siswa yang ditentukan berdasarkan hasil tes. Siswa yang terpilih sebagai subjek penelitan tersebut adalah siswa yang memperoleh kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode tes dan wawancara. Tes digunakan untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa dan wawancara digunakan untuk menelusuri jenis kesalahan siswa secara mendalam. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 3 siswa (15%) mencapai kesalahan dengan kategori tinggi, 4 siswa (20%) mencapai kesalahan dengan kategori sedang, 4 siswa (20%) mencapai kesalahan dengan kategori rendah dan 9 siswa (45%) mencapai kesalahan dengan kategori sangat rendah dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Berdasarkan hasil kerjanya, subjek tersebut salah menuliskan symbol dari objek kata yang digunakan atau tidak menuliskan symbol bilangan dalam menyelesaikan soal (kesalahan fakta), salah mengklasifikasikan dan tidak memahami bagian-bagian dari suatu operasi bilangan serta menuliskannya (kesalahan konsep), salah menggunakan model atau aturan matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal (kesalahan prinsip) dan salah dalam melakukan perhitungan (kesalahan operasi), terhadap permasalahan pada soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat yaitu meliputi: 1) kesalahan fakta yang dilakukan oleh SP-12 butir soal 1d dan SP-14 untuk butir soal 1c dengan kesalahan yaitu, salah menuliskan simbol dari objek kata yang digunakan atau tidak menuliskan simbol bilangan dalam menyelesaikan soal. 2) kesalahan konsep yang dilakukan oleh SP-12 butir soal 2 dan 3, SP-14 butir soal 3, SP-18 butir soal 3 dan SP-6 untuk butir soal 1a, 1b, 1c dan 1d dengan kesalahan yaitu, salah mengklafikasikan dan tidak memahami bagian-bagian dari suatu operasi bilangan serta menuliskannya. 3) kesalahan prinsip yang dilakukan oleh SP-18 untuk butir soal 1d dengan kesalahan yaitu, salah menggunakan model matematika atau aturan dalam menyelesaikan soal. 4) dengan kesalahan yaitu, salah menggunakan model matematika atau aturan dalam menyelesaikan soal. 4) kesalahan operasi yang dilakukan oleh SP-4 butir soal 1c dan SP-18 untuk butir soal 1c dengan kesalahan yaitu, salah dalam melakukan perhitungan. Kata Kunci : Analisis kesalahan, jenis kesalahan, operasi hitung bilangan bulat.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of using the information Gap technique inimproving student speaking achievement at eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 11Tarakan. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental. The population ofthis research was 58 students. The researcher used purposive sampling in took asample. In collecting the data, the researcher used a speaking test. Before treatment,the researcher gave Pretest. After that, the researcher gave treatment. After treatment,the researcher gave a posttest. The mean score of each test was compared to know thestudent's improvement in speaking. The mean score of pretests in the experimentalclass was 45.17, and in the control, class was 46.90. The mean score of posttests in theexperimental class was 70.17, and in the control, class was 65.69. The score ofposttests of the experimental class was higher than the control class. The result of theindependent sample t-test showed that the t-test (2.204) higher than the t-table (1.673).It was concluded that the information gap technique has a significant effect on studentspeaking achievement at SMPN 11 Tarakan.

Abstract

Corruption act in Indonesia is a very serious crime and has serious consequences for the nation of Indonesia, and the most disadvantaged are the people, welfare of the people is the desire of every person difficult to realize, while eradication is very slow. Combating corruption is a very important part in saving the nation from the threat of destruction is therefore a serious effort is needed in its eradication. Educational institutions have an important role for the eradication of corruption in Indonesia, because of the higher education institutions by law forming the character of each person for anti-corruption can be done, for it's efforts to improve the science of divinity to be very important, so the morality of everyone, including law enforcement becomes an important part in real life can be maintained, the science of religion without science is incomplete. Key words: corruption, moral, education, divinity

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze and describe the improvement of pedagogical competence comprised of; proprietary documents, ability in teaching preparation, and the ability in executing the lesson plan. This research used Margaret Riel model and was done in three cycles where each cycle passed through study and plan, take action, collect and analyse evidences, and reflect. The subject of the research were teacher and student. The guiding focus were the teachers who had not been mentored yet. The result of the research showed that proprietary documents of all mentees had reached the standard operating procedure, they could make lesson plan according to standard operating procedure and the teaching ability had improvements in applicating teaching and learning process based on student centered in the characteristic frame of active, creative, effective and enjoyable learning. This proved that the action which was done could fulfill the success of criteria targeted.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru yang terdiri dari: kepemilikan dokumen, kemampuan merencanakan pembelajaran, dan kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan Margaret Riel yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, dimana kegiatan melalui fase; mempelajari dan merencanakan, melakukan tindakan, mengumpulkan dan menganalisa bukti, dan merefleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa. Fokus pendampingan adalah guru kelas yang belum pernah mendapat pendampingan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan dokumen dampingan telah memenuhi standard operating procedure, dampingan telah mampu menyusun RPP yang memenuhi standard operating procedure, dan kemampuan mengajar mengalami peningkatan dalam melakukan pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada siswa dengan ciri pembelajaran aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAKEM). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa tindakan yang dilakukan dapat memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan.Kata kunci: kompetensi pedagogik, pendampingan, pendekatan kolaboratif, penelitian tindakan

Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro merupakan pembangkit listrik skala kecil yang menggunakan air sebagai penggeraknya dan penggerak mula adalah turbin. Sistem pembangkit ini sangat tepat digunakan di pedesaan karena sistem ini mudah dibuat, menghasilkan daya listrik yang cukup besar dan biaya pembuatan yang lebih relatif murah. Atas dasar diatas maka perlu dirancang suatu turbin yang mendukung sistem pembangkit ini, diantaranya adalah Turbin Aliran Silang. Untuk merancang sebuah turbin air agar tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam perancangan (seperti hal-nya biaya pembuatannya) maka dilakukan perancangan prototipenya. Sebuah prototipe Turbin Aliran Silang dirancang dalam kegiatan tugas akhir ini dengan debit (Q) = 0,03  m3/s, head (H) = 2 m dengan efisiensi 0,80. Spesifikasi teknik utama dari hasil perancangan turbin adalah diameter runner (D) = 0,195 m dengan putaran turbin 281,39 rpm daya keluaran efektif sebesar 470,4 W.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a significant difference inimproving the vocabulary of students who are taught using the Extensive Readingstrategy and those taught using the Intensive Reading strategy in the tenth grade ofSMK Kesehatan Kaltara Tarakan. This research method is Quasi-experimental.Samples were selected using the purposive sampling technique. There are two classessampled in this study. The treatment for the experimental class was taught using theExtensive Reading Strategy and the control class using the Intensive Reading Strategy.The research instrument was a multiple-choice written test. The data analyzed werethe pre-test and post-test from the experimental and control classes. In analyzing thedata, researchers used an independent sample T-test at SPSS 23.0. The results showedthat there were differences in the scores of students from the experimental class andthe control class. This is evidenced by the results of the student's average score. Thetest results before being given the treatment (pre-test) of the experimental classobtained an average score of 40.00 and the control class obtained 51.11. Whereas forthe posttest results, the experimental class with a mean score of 69.81, and the posttestresults for the control class with a mean score of 64.26. This can be seen from the twoclasses getting a higher increase after giving a treatment by using extensive readingand intensive reading strategies. The results of the independent sample T-test betweenthe posttest in the experimental class and the control class were (t-score = 2.559) (ttable=2.007)withavalueof0.13.Basedontheexplanationabove,theresultsofthedataanalysis prove that there is a significant difference between students who aretaught using the Extensive Reading strategy and students who are taught using theIntensive Reading strategy in increasing student vocabulary. Ha is accepted when thet-score is higher than the t-table, while Ho is rejected.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach to Content Analysis techniques ( qualitative content analysis ). Subject of research is a film of State Lima Tower bouquet Ahmad ceremony. This study aims to reveal the value of Islamic character contained in the Five Towers Film . From the results of research that there are many educational values in the film, namely: Having a spirit of change, Integrity, Unyielding, Tolerance, Great Soul, Cooperation, creative and Independent.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effects of semen diluter on the abnormality and survival of local goat spermatozoa maintained at 50C. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of three different diluter (NaCl 0.9%, Lactate Ringer, and Dextrose Ringer) with six replicates. Analysis of variance showed that the treatment effects were highly significant (P<0.01)              on both the abnormality and survival of the goat spermatozoa. The spermatozoa abnormality was significantly higher in the lactate ringer treatment (6.26%) than any other treatment. Similarly,                  the survival of the goat spermatozoa in the dextrose ringer and NaCl treatment were significantly larger (77 and 80.5%) than that in the lactate ringer treatment (66,3%).

Abstract

The aim of the experiment was to determine spermatozoa fertility and accurate interval time of artificial insemination for improving chicken quality and production. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design with three levels of semen diluter as the treatments. Each treatment was tested to 10 local female chicks. The research results showed that the treatments significantly affected the fertility of spermatozoa (P  <  0.05).  The highest fertility of spermatozoa was found in the ringer lactate diluter (74.73 %), followed by the ringer dextrose (71.58 %), and physiological NaCl 0.9 % (65.79 %).  The highest fertility period produced by ringer dextrose diluter was 15.6 days, and ringer lactate for 15.3 days.

Abstract

Abstract The present study aimed at describing the English teacher’s problems in implementingthe 2013 curriculum in online learning at SMA Muhammadiyah Boarding SchoolTarakan. A case study was conducted to an English teacher at SMA MuhammadiyahBoarding School Tarakan. Data were collected through observation, interview, anddocumentation. The concurrent flows of analysis (data reduction, data display, andconclusion drawing) were used to reveal the English teaching problems. The result ofanalysis disclosed the problems from three teaching dimensions. In the preparation,the teacher found a hard struggling to compile the instructional documents because ofthe limitation of time in making the documents and in obtaining the references foronline learning. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher did not fully meetthe target of learning materials listed in the lesson plans because he had to adapt thematerials to the online class atmosphere. Controlling the students’ activities was alsothe challenging part during online class because the teacher could not see the studentsdirectly. Although, the teacher had mastered on how to use online learning platforms,some students could not use those platforms appropriately. The other problems wereunstable internet connection and support from students’ parents. These led thestudents became passive and decrease their motivation. In the assessment process, theteacher felt burdened because the assessment components were too complex. Besidesthat, there was a lot of tolerances given by the teacher to students.
