Abstract

Hypertension generally occurs without symptoms (asymptomatic), most people do not feel anything, even though their blood pressure is far above normal. Hypertension is the cause of death number 3 (three), after stroke and tuberculosis. Various natural ingredients can be used to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients, one of which is to consume watermelon juice. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the given intervention of red and yellow watermelon juice to decrease blood pressure in the elderly. The study was a pre-experimental design with two group pretest posttest designs. This research was conducted in August 2018 in the Pauh Padang Health Center Working Area. The sample in this study were elderly who suffer from hypertension, 16 samples were taken from the elderly and given red and yellow watermelons. The sampling technique is based on purposive sampling. The results of this study obtained an average blood pressure before giving intervention of red watermelon juice was 176.12 mmHg and after giving intervention of red watermelon juice was 139.38 mmHg, while the average blood pressure before the intervention of yellow watermelon juice was 175.00 mmHg and after intervention of yellow watermelon juice is 140.62 mmHg. From the results of statistical tests, the value of p = 0,000 <0,05 can be concluded giving intervention so that it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the provision of red and yellow watermelons with a decrease in Blood Pressure.Hipertensi umumnya terjadi tanpa gejala (asimptomatis), sebagian besar orang tidak merasakan apapun, meski tekanan darahnya sudah jauh di atas normal. Hipertensi merupakan penyebab kematian nomor 3 (tiga), setelah stroke dan tuberkolosis. Berbagai bahan alami dapat digunakan untuk menurunkan tekanan darah penderita hipertensi, salah satunya adalah dengan mengkonsumsi jus semangka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemberian jus semangka merah dan kuning terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia. Penelitian merupakan pre experimental design dengan rancangan two group pretest posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus tahun 2018 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pauh Padang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia yang menderita hipertensi, sampel diambil sebanyak 16 orang lansia dan diberikan semangka merah dan kuning. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah berdasarkan purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan rata - rata tekanan darah pada sebelum pemberian jus semangka merah adalah 176,12 mmHg dan setelah pemberian jus semangka merah adalah 139,38 mmHg, sedangkan rata - rata tekanan darah sebelum pemberian jus semangka kuning adalah 175,00 mmHg dan setelah pemberian jus semangka kuning adalah 140,62 mmHg. Dari hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05 dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara pemberian semangka merah dan kuning dengan penurunan Tekanan Darah.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the correlation between anxiety and changes in blood pressure in administering the Ners Students computer-based Competency test. The study used a sphygmomanometer to measure blood pressure and used a HARS tool for anxiety. The research design used is a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. The analysis method uses quantitative analysis of chi-square correlations and dependent T-test statistical tests. The results showed no significant association between the anxiety facing computer-based competency tests and changes in students' blood pressure, as evidenced by a score of p = 0.216. There was a significant difference in the average score between anxiety before and after taking the computer-based test p= 0.042. There was no significant difference on average between blood pressure before and after taking the computer-based competency exam p=0.231. This research concluded that the anxiety experienced by students in taking competency exams does not affect changes in blood pressure.

Abstract

Desa Pulau merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Bangkinang Seberang Kabupaten Kampar. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di Desa tersebut adalah; penghasilan kelompok wirid RT02 RW 04 masih rendah, pengetahuan anggota Wirid RT02 RW 04 tentang pengolahan ubi ungu menjadi produk makanan yang bergizi masih rendah atau belum ada, diversifikasi dan pemasaran produk makanan belum ada, P IRT belum ada. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan olahan ubi ungu menjadi produk olahan makanan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat RT02 RW 04 Desa Pulau Bangkinang Seberang. Metode pengabdian yaitu model Community development, model Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), sosialisasi, dan metode pendampingan. Pengabdian pengolahan ubi ungu menjadi produk makanan keripik, donat dan bolu dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 Oktober 2019 s.d 30 Oktober 2019 di desa Pulau Bangkinang Seberang, diikuti oleh 6 orang yang tergabung kedalam kelompok wirid RT 02 dengan hasil ; 1) Antusias mitra terhadap sosialisasi serta pelatihan yang telah dilakukan dalam peningkatan produksi pengolahan ubi ungu berupa variasi produk baru hasil olahan ubi ungu yaitu; keripik ubi ungu, donat dan bolu sebesar 100 %, 2) Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra tentang pengolahan ubi ungu menjadi varian produk lain sebesar 90 %, 3) Mitra mampu membuat produk keripik ubi ungu, donat ubi ungu dan bolu ubi ungu sebesar 100%, 4) Meningkatnya pengetahuan cara packing dari produk dan cara untuk menjual ke masyarakat dengan menggunakan gadget sebesar 90 %. Kesimpulan pengabdian meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra tentang pengolahan ubi ungu menjadi varian produk lain.

Abstract

The numbers of the hospitalized children in the last two decades have been increased rapidly. The increasing of the percentage of the hospitalized children became more serious and more complex than the previous years. Hospitalization might causes anxious on the children. The children became increasingly anxious and might affect the healing process. Therefore, to decrease the children’s anxiety during the healing process, the use of the book as a therapy media, known as Bibliotherapy is suggested. This research is aimed at identifying the effect of  Bibliotherapy by using storybooks on the anxiety level of hospitalization effect on preschool children in children’s room. This research employed Quasi-Experimental with One Group pre-test and post-test design, and the total sample was 19 respondents. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. The instruments used in this research were questionnaire and observation. The data were analyzed through univariat and bivariate. The findings showed that the average score on the level anxiety before treated by Bibliotherapy by using the storybooks was 23.2, while after giving the therapy was 18.6. The T-test obtained p+0,001 (p0.05), it means that Ho is rejected, there is a relationship between the effect of Bibliotherapy by using story books on the children’s level of anxiety as the effect of the hospitalization on the preschool children in children’s room at RSUD Bangkinang. It is expected for the Hospital to give therapy program while children care by Bibliotherapy by using the storybooks to decrease the children’s anxiety.

Abstract

Menurut data World Health Organization ( WHO) tahun 2018 di seluruh dunia sekitar 972 juta orang atau 26,4% penduduk di dunia mengidap hipertensi dengan perbandingan 26,6% pria dan 26,1 wanita. Angka ini kemungkinan akan meningkat menjadi 29,2% ditahun 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh air rebusan daun salam terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Desa Kuok wilayah Kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Kuok Tahun 2021. Penelitian pra experimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian 66 penderita hipertensi yang ada di Desa Kuok dan jumlah sampel 15 orang, adapun teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan sebelum minum air rebusan daun salam rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik adalah 151,33, sedangkan rerata tekanan darah diastolic adalah 97,67 mmHg. Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sesudah minum air rebusan daun salam adalah 131,33 mmHg, sedangkan rerata tekanan darah diastolik adalah 83,67 mmHg. Abstract

Menurut Data World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2015 menunjukkan sekitar 1,13 Miliar orang di dunia menyandang hipertensi, artinya 1 dari 3 orang di dunia terdiagnosis hipertensi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh rebusan daun alpukat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di Wilayah kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Kuok Kabupaten Kampar Tahun 2021. Populasi penelitian ini adalah  seluruh pasien hipertensi sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian lansia yang menderita hipertensi sebanyak 25 responden di Desa Kuok Wilayah kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Kuok.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah sphygmomanometer,lembar observasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Univariat dan bivariat dengan uji T-Test, diolah menggunakan sistem komputerisasi. Dengan hasil diketahui bahwa, rerata tekanan darah systole dan diastole pada penderita hipertensi sebelum diberikan rebusan daun alpukat yaitu 142/92 mmHg sedangkan rerata tekanan darah sistole dan diastole pada penderita hipertensi sesudah diberikan rebusan daun alpukat yaitu 120/80. Berdasarkan uji statistik terdapat Perbedaan Tekanan darah Sistol diastole pada penderita hipertensi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan rebusan daun alpukat degan p value 0,000 (< 0,05) yang artinya terdapat pengaruh rebusan daun alpukat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di Wilayah kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Kuok Kabupaten Kampar Tahun 2021. Diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam pengobatan hipertensi dan mengingatkan pasien agar dapat  mengaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari  untuk mengkonsumsi  rebusan daun alpukat terutama yang menderita hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi.

Abstract

during menstruation or dysmenorrhea is often complained by teenage girls who have entered puberty as an uncomfortable sensation such as pain in the abdomen, cramps and pain in the waist that can interfere with daily activities. One of the non-pharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea is progressive muscle relaxation techniques, which are very suitable for reducing dysmenorrhea pain. Purpose: This study was to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation techniques on the scale of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) in young women in Pulau Jambu village, the working area of the Kuok Community Health Center in 2020. Methods: This type of research uses a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest plan. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 30 people. The data collection tool used was an observation sheet using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain scale. Data processing used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with the SPSS 17 program. Results: this study shows that progressive muscle relaxation techniques have an influence on the scale of dysmenorrhea in young women in Pulau Jambu village, the working area of the Kuok Health Center in 2020 with a p value of 0.000. Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy are experienced by about 60-80% of primigravida pregnant women and 40-60% of multigravida pregnant women. The management principle of nausea and vomiting include prevention, nausea and vomiting reduction, and fluid and electrolyte requirements correction. To minimize the complaints of nausea and vomiting non-pharmacological measures could be implemented, one of them is by giving ginger water. This research purposes to analyze the effect of giving ginger water on the frequency of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the Kuok Health Center Work Area in 2020. This research will be conducted in Kuok, Kuok Community Health Center, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, data collection was carried out from June to July 2020. This is A Quasi-Experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The population was the pregnant women in the first trimester who experienced nausea and vomiting as many as 93 pregnant women with a total sample of 14 pregnant women. The purposive sampling technique was employed in this research. The Dependent T-test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the median frequency of nausea and vomiting before giving ginger water was 3.14 (2.00-4.00) with an SD of ± 0.56 and the median frequency of nausea and vomiting after giving ginger water was 0.79 (0.00- 2.00) with SD ± 0.65. Abstract

Pada tahun 2013 angka cakupan pemberian ASI di Indonesia hanya 42 % angka ini masih dibawah target WHO yang menargetkan cakupan pemberian ASI 50%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengaruh  konsumsi rebusan jantung terhadap ekskresi ASI pada ibu menyusui di Desa Kuapan wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tambang tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen (eksperimen semu) dengan rancangan non-equivalent pretest-posttest.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Ibu Menyusui < 40 hari di di Desa kuapan Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tambang  yang berjumlah 66 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 20 orang ibu menyusui. Adapun tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling.Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yaitu data kelancaran ASI Ibu Menyusui sebelum dan sesudah mengkonsumsi Jantung Pisang.Data kelancaran ASI diukur dengan menggunakan gelas ukur dan pompa ASI, data dikumpulkan lewat lembar observasi.Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rerata ekskresi ASI sebelum konsumsi rebusan jantung pisang adalah 385 cc dengan standar deviasi 82,876 dan sesudah konsumsi rebusan jantung pisang adalah 720,00 cc dengan standar deviasi 86,450. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai p value 0,001, maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh konsumsi rebusan jantung pisang terhadap ekskresi ASI pada ibu menyusui di Desa Kuapan wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tambang tahun 2016.Diharapkan petugas kesehatan khususnya bidan agar lebih meningkatkan keterampilan, pelatihan serta konseling pada setiap pemeriksaan ibu hamil.
