Abstract

In the world of programming, deep learning methods of convolutional neural networks (CNN) may be very rarely heard, because this method was only popular around 2015, and this time I will conduct an experiment using this method, where I will conduct experiments on identification systems leaf image whose application is almost similar to a face recognition system, the leaf image identification system itself consists of detection and classification stages. Both of these stages are done so quickly by humans but it takes a long time for the computer. The application also uses MATLAB 2018a software with the CNN method we can find out the image data classification and can do the process of identifying images properly.

Abstract

CSR PT. XYZ berencana membangun sebuah fasilitas sistem Aerasi bertenaga Micro Hydro Power Plant di lokasi Sumber Air Berkah Air Dondang. Untuk memastikan kelayakan rencana tersebut, pihak CSR PT. XYZ meminta bantuan kepada Universitas Balikpapan. Ide ini didasari oleh keinginan memanfaatkan sudut elefasi dan jarak antara dua buah kolam penampungan yang telah dibangun sebelumnya. Dalam realitanya, belum ada pengukuran teknik terhadap perencanaan tersebut. Merespon permintaan CSR PT.XYZ, Fakultas Teknologi Industri Universitas Balikpapan segera membentuk Tim untuk melakukan survey dan studi kelayakan. Berdasarkan hasil survey dan analisis Tim, rencana pembangunan fasilitas sistem aerasi bertenaga micro hydro power plant tidak direkomendasikan. Sebab, daya air terpasang lebih kecil dari daya yang dibutuhkan. Hasil survey, temuan lapangan, hasil pembahasan dan masukan alternatif telah dituangkan kedalam laporan studi kelayakan yang diserahkan kepada pihak CSR PT. XYZ selaku pemohon. Diharapkan hasil studi kelayakan ini dapat dipergunakan sebagaimana mestinya oleh pihak CSR PT. XYZ.

Abstract

In some corners of the city, it is often found abandoned children who roam around school hours and engage in less productive activities that disturb the peace of the community. which makes them fall into drugs. This should be a concern of the community starting from the household to the city government. In Balikpapan, specifically the "Kelurahan Baru Ulu" area which is an old and densely populated city with a very dense housing complex, this area is also called the drug-prone zone. Through this community service program can provide solutions for the care of neglected children through appropriate support and learning systems for abandoned children in "Shelter Houses" and PKBM (Community Learning Centers), using non-formal education systems in accordance with established standards called " Rumah Singgah Peduli Anak Penerus Bangsa ". This activity has been carried out and will continue to be carried out and become a reference in the shelter management activities.

Abstract

Abstract— Proportional Integrator Derivative (PID) controller, which aims to set a variable value with stable and precision in an instrument system using a feedback (closed loop) on the system. RPM readings rotation of DC motor that drives the screw jack to be used as a reference control. After implementing the motor rotation speed control system with PID controller jack using the 3-point setting of 60, 50 and 40 RPM. The measurement results show the average speed of each point setting. When the set point average of 60 RPM rotation speed of the motor jack to 56 RPM with an average of 4 RPM below the set point. When the set point average of 50 RPM rotation speed of the motor jack to 47 RPM with an average of 3 RPM below the set point. And when the set point average of 40 RPM rotation speed of jack motor to 37 RPM with an average of 3 RPM below the set point

Abstract

This study aims to build a speaker recognition system using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) algorithm and Hidden Markov Models (HMM). Speech signals from each speaker were recorded using Indonesian words "kiri" and recorded 10 times. Five (5) data from the first record were recorded under normal conditions and the next 5 data were sourced from the nasal sounds produced by a pressed nose. The total data from 6 different speakers becomes 60 data The results of the application of the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) algorithm and the Hidden Markov Models (HMM) algorithm and the number of states tested 4 to 7 states, in this study have not provided optimal results. The identification of error rates is quite high, which is equal to 20% for the number of states 4 and 5, and reaches 30% for the number of states 6 and 7. This shows that the feature vector values generated from the DWT algorithm and then modeled and tested using the HMM algorithm has not optimal results yet. Further evaluation is needed to examine the opportunities of other algorithms that can be applied in DWT and to achieve high recognition accuracy

Abstract

Pelatihan dan evaluasi yang diberikan, memberi data kepada masyarakat bahwa sebahagianbesar siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar mampu mengoperasikan smartphone dengan baik,namun kurang pengetahuan tentang alat yang mereka operasikan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di 4sekolah dasar negeri yang berada di Kelurahan Baru Ulu Balikpapan Barat, Kota Balikpapan,adapun jumlah partisipan/siswa yang menjadi peserta pelatihan 227 siswa yang duduk dikelas enam. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan dan sosialisasi memberikan data bahwa, sebelumkegiatan dilaksanakan hanya terdapat kurang dari 5 % jumlah siswa kelas 6 tingkat sekolahdasar yang memiliki pengetahuan lebih tentang teknologi informasi. Setelah kegiatandiperoleh nilai hasil evaluasi di atas 75% jumlah siswa yang mampu menyerap danmenjelaskan kembali tentang materi yang diberikan.

Abstract

Abstract-Medium voltage network is one of the distribution ofelectricity from generators to the consumer. The voltage will beseparated to each feeder for its distribution. If the rate of consumerneeds is higher, PLN demanded to add new feeder. Electric powerdistribution requires reliability in maintaining the distributionequipment from fault, including short circuit. So, to minimize thefault, protection system that meets the requirements of sensitivity,reliability, selectivity and speed, which is all depends on theprecision in setting protection equipment One of the protectivedevices that used in medium voltage network is an over currentrelay (OCR) and ground fault relay(GFR). This research discussesevaluation between the OCR and GFR setting, at the J.3 in KarangJoang substation. The comparisonresult between calculation andattached data in Karang Joang substation almost same. Thecalculation from OCR setting in incoming side acquired TMS =0,1955. Meanwhile the OCR setting in outgoing side acquired TMS=0,1294. GFR setting in incoming side acquired TMS 0,2807.Meanwhile GFR setting in outgoing side acquired TMS = 0,1102.This result showed that attached setting in Karang Joang Substationstill considered in good condition.

Abstract

Kualitas dan kuantitas Sarang Burung Walet sangat dipengaruhi oleh Suhu dan kelembaban. Semakin dekat dengan kondisi gua alami, akan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik. Studi ini mencoba merancang sistem untuk mengatur suhu dan kelembaban sarang burung walet. Dengan menerapkan sistem pemantauan untuk mengatur ketika suhu tinggi dan ketika kelembaban tinggi, Balikpapan adalah kota yang cukup panas untuk petani sarang walet. Hasilnya adalah sistem desain suhu dan kelembaban yang berhasil dibuat menggunakan modul papan Arduino nano dan sensor DHT 22, dengan tingkat keberhasilan 97% dalam 30 percobaan.

Abstract

Abstract— These technological advances that make it very easy to provide various efforts to provide convenience andcomfort for humans. The development of this technology must also begin with the development of human resources (HR). Fromthis problem, this study discusses the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) algorithm to measure the accuracy of x and yvectors for male and female faces to determine the identity and method of the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) facialrecognition system. Total Sampling 3 Samples consisted of 1 woman and 2 men. Successful results Taking in this method100%Intisari—Kemajuan teknologi yang sangat pesat ini memungkinkan adanya berbagai usaha untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan bagi manusia. Perkembangan teknologi ini juga harus diikuti dengan perkembangan pada sumber daya manusia (SDM). Dari permasalahan ini maka penelitian bertujuan algoritma Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) untuk mengukur akurasi dari vector x dan y ciri wajah laki-laki dan perempuan untuk menentukan identitas dan metode Principal Componet Analysis (PCA) system pengenalan wajah. Jumlah Pengambilan Sample 3 Sample terdiri 1 perempuan dan 2 laki – laki. Hasil keberhasilan pengambilan dalam metode ini 100 %

Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya industri Kalimantan timur, tepatnya di Balikpapan. PT.Sanggar Sarana Baja adalah salah satu group dari TMT (Tiara Marga Trakindo) PT. Sanggar Sarana Baja yang rencananya akan membangun gedung yang bertujuan untuk menjaga pelayanan dan kualitas kerja yang terbaik. Pembangunan gedung ini tidak lepas dari kebutuhan instalasi listrik sistem pendingin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan instalasi listrik sistem pendingin kantor PT. Sanggar Sarana Baja yang sesuai dengan standar PUIL. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai acuan dalam perencanaan instalasi listrik system pendingin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan perhitungan besaran daya sistem pendingin pada setiap ruang, perhitungan luas penghantar dan pengaman seta merencanakan panel hubung bagi. Pada kantor PT.Sanggar Sarana Baja beban daya sistem pendingin sebesar 51.444 watt yang dibagi menjadi tiga grup beban. Grup I 18.030 wattt. Grup II 11.430 watt. Grup III 21.984 watt. Drop tegangan dari panel utama ke panel beban pendingin sebesar 5.68 volt atau sebesar 1.4 %
