Abstract

Ibu rumah tangga memiliki peran dan potensi yang sangat strategis dalam mendukung program pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia. Karena itu, program pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga dalam bidang ekonomi perlu dimaksimalkan. Program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memaksimalkan peran serta ibu rumah tangga dalam mengisi waktu luangnya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Mitra pada program ini yaitu kelompok ibu rumah tangga Dusun Gayam dan kelompok ibu rumah tangga Dusun Pesisir Desa Tambaan Kecamatan Camplong Kabupaten Sampang. Masalah yang dihadapi mitra yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan untuk berwirausaha dan minimnya keterampilan yang dimiliki. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan Desa Tambaan memiliki terdapat banyak tambak garam dan sebagian besar masyarakatnya merupakan petani garam. Sehingga pada program ini ditawarkan solusi yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam produksi garam yodium skala rumah tangga. Program ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan antara lain penyuluhan pentingnya konsumsi garam beryodium dan penyuluhan wirausaha dalam skala rumah tangga. Pelatihan yang dilakukan yaitu pelatihan pembuatan hingga pengemasan garam yodium. Hasil dari PKM ini yaitu (1) kelompok IRT Dusun Gayam dan Dusun Pesisir mengetahui pentingnya garam yodium sehingga tidak lagi menggunakan garam krosok yang diambil langsung dari tambak. (2) kelompok IRT Dusun Gayam dan Dusun Pesisir bisa membuat garam yodium dengan mengolah garam krosok yang di dapat dari tambak. (3) kelompok IRT Dusun Gayam dan Dusun Pesisir memahami usaha garam yodium skala rumah tangga. (4) kelompok IRT Dusun Gayam dan Dusun Pesisir memproduksi garam yodium dan menjual garam tersebut.

Abstract

The high demand of shark products, particularly fins, have influenced the increase in the exploitation and trade of sharks, included small scale fisheries. The condition can increase the vulnerability of sharks because of their biological cycle and as a top predator and economically important fish. This paper aims to identify the conditions of exploitation and management of sharks in Sumenep Regency. The method used in this research is the field observation, in-depth interview and review of policies. Based on the existing results indicate that over exploitation has occurred in Sumenep, where fishermen catch almost any size of sharks, both great until the baby sharks ('baby hiu’) in large numbers. Several species of sharks that many caught are the species Carcharhinus melanopterus, C. obscurus, Sphyrna lewini and Chiloscyllium punctatum. Shark trade activities occur in Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) of Pasongsongan, the fishing port of Ambunten, Dasuk, Dungkek, and Tanjung–Saronggi. Currently, the regulations governing the management and protection of sharks in Indonesia is still limited to only a few species of sharks, including whale sharks (Rhincodon typus), shark saws (Pristis Microdon, P. clavata, P. zijsron, and Anoxypritis cuspidata), and manta rays (Manta birostris and M. Alfredi), although other species has status Near Threatened until Endengered based International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Appendix II based on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered species (CITES). Not to socialized existing regulations to the fishermen, the absence of regional policy in particular, and the high price is one reason still rampant shark fishing on a large scale. To that end, public awareness activities to fishermen and communities and appropriate regulation is needed in sustainable shark management efforts.

Abstract

Market demand for the availability of fishery products is relatively high, so processed fishery products business can be the right choice to start a business in order to improve the economy of a creative community.  This also happened in Pamekasan Regency. As one of the regencies in Madura which is famous for its education city, Pamekasan Regency is also known as a culinary city. The need for supplies of culinary ingredients such as fish, crabs and shellfish is still very high. To fulfill it, efforts to increase production are needed. The partners of this program are fishermen women's groups in Pegagan Village, Pademawu District. Partners have a strong desire for entrepreneurship, especially in fulfilling the supply of fish or fishery products for culinary businesses in Pamekasan Regency and its surroundings. However, limited fishery products are a separate problem faced by partners in processing fishery products to meet the needs of existing culinary businesses. Limitations in the processing of fishery products require careful thought in an effort to empower something that is productive to become a creative economy. One of the right choices so that they can still manage fishery products is to provide assistance and outreach by presenting material on how to properly and properly process fishery products. This program is carried out using training and mentoring methods. The training includes product manufacturing training and product marketing management cultivation training while mentoring is carried out through training, marketing and financial analysis. In the mentoring phase, monitoring and evaluation will also be carried out to ensure the sustainability of the program. The output of this program is the increased production of fishery products from Pegagan Village fisherman groups. Other outputs from this program are publications in Proceedings and national scientific journals with ISSN, e-ISSN and publications in the mass media.

Abstract

Optimizing efforts to increase food security requires innovation in increasing the effectiveness of commodity flows through better coordination. One of the Indonesian commodities that has great potential but has so far received little attention is Seaweed, which is one of the most widely produced and consumed plant commodities in Indonesia. Seaweed cultivation is carried out by the community in East Jumiang Village because this area is very suitable for growing seaweed plants, so seaweed farming is one of the existing farmer activities, besides that the community is more knowledgeable about traditional seaweed cultivation methods. In East Jumiang Village, farmers Cultivate seaweed using random method. This study aims to determine the efficiency of seaweed farming in Jumiang East Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency. The analysis used in this study using Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) is cost efficiency. The results of the research on the efficiency of seaweed cultivation in Jumiang East Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency are: fixed costs in seaweed farming are Rp. 1575000 and variable costs are Rp. 316000 so the total cost of seaweed farming is Rp. 1891000, revenue is Rp. 540000 and profit is Rp. 1351000. The value of R/C Ratio > 1, which is 2.50, means that seaweed production farming in Jumiang Timur Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, efficient and profitable because with a capital of 2.00 you will get a profit of Rp. 2.50.

Abstract

Indonesia So far, there has been no study regarding the effect of the stages of traditional fish processing in Indonesia on changes in the molecular weight profile and allergenicity. The objectives of this study were (1) to obtain a molecular weight profile of fish protein extracts during the salted fish processing stage of the five types of marine fish that were mostly produced in P3 Pasongsongan; (2) obtain the level of allergenicity of fish protein extracts during the salted fish processing stage of the five types of fish tested; and (3) obtain information on changes in the allergenicity of similar marine fish protein extracts due to the application of salted fish and pindang fish processing technology. In the first stage, secondary data was collected to obtain information on the five types of salted fish that were most widely produced in P3 Pasongsongan which would then be selected as samples. In addition, observations and interviews were also conducted with 25 salted fish producers in P3 Pasongsongan to obtain a profile of salted fish processing that will be used as a standard for sample processing. SDS-PAGE electrophoresis test showed that the processing of salted and pindang fish could not remove the protein bands thought to be parvalbumin (10 to 13 kDa) and other polypeptides suspected to be major allergens in fish (24, 40, and 50 kDa). Potential allergenicity of wet salted fish from the highest to the lowest, namely tuna > mackerel > selar > kite > tembang. Allergenicity potential of dried salted fish from the highest to the lowest, namely layang fish > tembang > tuna > mackerel > selar. Fried salted fish has the highest allergy potential, while mackerel and fried salted tuna have the lowest allergy potential. Comparison of the allergenicity test results for mackerel during the processing stages of salted fish and pindang fish showed that the allergenicity of mackerel processed with salting was higher than that of mackerel processed with salting.

Abstract

Market demand for the availability of souvenirs typical of Madura with local wisdom is relatively high, so the business of processed fisheries and marine products, namely mangroves, can be the right choice to start a business in order to improve the economy of a creative community. To fulfill this, efforts to increase production are needed. The partner of this program is the “Alam Mangrove” group in Baddurih Village, Pademawu District. Partners have a strong desire for entrepreneurship, especially in fulfilling various types of wet and dry cake snacks where the flour is obtained from mangrove plants or marine and fishery products.  However, the limited variety of cakes from marine and fishery products is a separate problem faced by partners in the context of processing flour products to meet the needs of existing culinary businesses. Limitations in the processing of fishery products require careful thought in efforts to empower something that is productive to become a creative economy. This program is carried out using training and mentoring methods including training in product manufacturing and cultivation training in product marketing management while mentoring is carried out in training, marketing and financial analysis. Abstract

Pengolahan lorjuk dengan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat yang terletak Di Desa Lembung Kecamatan Galis cukup strategi karena lokasinya tidak begitu jauh dengan jalan raya lembung Usaha pengolahan lorjuk merupakan sumber protein sangat bagus dan memiliki nilai biologi yang tinggi dan di sekitar masyarakat mendatangkan nilai ekonomis salah satunya dengan mengelola lorjuk menjadi produk camilan seperti rangginang lorjuk, krispi lorjuk pemasaran merupakan masalah yang perlu diperhatikan. pengolahan lorjuk yang serba terbatas berada pada posisi yang lemah dan penawaran dan persaingan terutama yang menyangkut penjualan hasil. Strategi pengembangan usaha pengolahan lorjuk untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat yang tepat. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi faktor IFAS dan EFAS dari matrik IE dalam analisis internal peroleh total 3,36 dan analisis eksternal memperoleh total 3,42 dan matrik IE di katakan tinggi , berupa angka kemudian di inventarisasi ke dalam Matriks IFAS dan EFAS (Tabel 10). Fokus analisis dan skoring yaitu diperoleh sumbu x = 2,32 dan sumbu y = 1,74. Posisi ini menandakan strategi progresif (kuadran I; positif) dimana sebuah usaha pengolahan yang kuat dan berpeluang.
